I do sort of sort. Plate pile, brick pile, wheel and tire pile, etc. Then small stuff, minifig stuff, etc. Sometimes I sort to the extreme. Not for fast building. I do it cause I don't find the "where is it...WTF.... where is it?!...just my luck to have an incomplete set...oh never mind, found it..."-experience very relaxing or enjoyable.

Indiana Jones 7195 Ambush in Cairo. I love the minifigs. Just MOCed a Lawrence of Arabia with them. Now available in TRU for £9.99

Personally I have no experience yet, but I've seen some good How-to videos on YouTube, giving good advice on software, setup etc, making it all look very easy. The advice golego gave is very helpful! (I am still planning to give it a go aswell) Also: why not post your movies here for feedback? I am sure there are some enthousiasts who can help you, especially people like golego. I might learn from the comments aswell!

Or in any other store maybe? (Some sets are now available from S@H) EDIT: just found all new Indy sets at TRU. (Bought the Ambush in Cairo for £9.99) I am not up to date about the SW sets, so can't tell you if they are on the shelves too.

Nice find. I liked the old caps, but like you say, you could not turn them back to front. The set is on my wish list too.

A masterpiece! Definately one of the best MOCs I've seen. Love the interior and especially the back of the station with its arches and windows. And the ticket offices, and the platforms, and the scale, and ... and... and... I like it all! Very well done!

Similar in MK, but no Market Street and less Indy sets. Also some Duplo and Cookie Jar etc on sale. As expected: left the store with much more than planned. Sets, not money that is. Nothing on sale in TRU MK today.

The little pests! I have no clue what my minifigs are up to all night and when no one is home. Maybe I should put up some motion sensitive security camera's. (Nice pics!)

Better question is: what can you bring us from the US that we don't have here... As far as I know there are no current sets here that you don't have. Besides, all Lego is much more expensive here. BTW I have not seen the Good Wizard in the UK in a long time. Did recently see it in The Netherlands and Germany though. It is a fun set. (I love impulse sets)

Cool! Didn't know this site and the flickr site were linked. Will join, and eventually post. (Nice green stud egg, Sir Nadroj) -

Lego store. Got the info from the Milton Keynes Lego store event calender. It doesn't give more info than that. So no idea when it ends, or what will be on sale. And no info about an online sale either. Does anyone know if these sales are usually any good? Good discounts, and many sets on sale? I see summer sales starting gradually on the high street, so more toy stores will follow soon I guess. I just added all my post dark-ages bills: £470 in 3 months. Am trying not to buy before Wednesday. Needed a fix badly though, so bought the 8290 Mini Forklift to keep me going.

Very creative! I like it! Nice use of bling! Especially the rear bumper looks good. What is the lamp made of on the left side of the car? I don't recognise it. Probably I would change the tires on the Harley: they look to much like off road tires.

What a list! Great work Sandy! I had no idea there were so many female minifigs! Unfortunately I have nothing to add to your list. So who is voluntering to do a male minifig list? And maybe a monster/animal list...
-
I've never seen Lego at my TKMaxx. Only MegaBlocks.

Lego is technical. And TLC is focussing more on male audience: batman, exoforce, starwars, racers, power miners, pirates, agents, technic, city (subtheme construction, police, etc) etc, etc. So I guess Lego is for men who are in touch with their feminin side. (Playing with minifigs, changing their outfits and hairdo, etc.) And for females who are in touch with their masculin side (technical).

Note that the RRP is £31.29 at Lego shop. So not half price but 28% off. Still a good deal. @ legoblockman: Dino 2010 is apparently a theme that had only 5 sets in 2005 and was then discontinued. Thanks for sharing your finds! PS Only 5 days till Lego Summer Sale! Start saving! *taking small bite of old stale dry bread and sipping rain water*

Exo Force being sold again?

I saw some old shelf worn big Exoforce sets at TRU in the UK too. Seems Lego or TRU found a forgotten ile in their storage. I don't think they are reissuing Exoforce. -
I'm surprised that the fleshies are so undesired. I have no preference. I like them all, but as many mentioned, not mixed together. In the Ferrari Victory set there were 2 fleshies and one yellow, and that's just wrong! In one of the new Indy sets there will be two nice new fake-tan coloured fleshies.

Dunno, doesn't say. Sorry. I assume so.

Another great artist: Powerpig on Flickr. Here a link to his Lego pics, but also have a look at his other work. http://www.flickr.com/photos/powerpig/tags/lego/ -
"Lego store summer sale starts 24 June. Sale items and inventory vary by store." Only 8 days to go! PS: not a lot of postings in this thread. Does that mean there are no sales in the UK?
