  1. I think this is 100% better than the LEGO version.
  2. brickshelf is literally just for LEGO, so it's appealing to AFOL's, but with multiple crashes I have never been a fan of brickshelf. I use flickr because it is backed by a major player, yahoo. Therefore you are far less likely to have crashes, and in my opinion, other sites reduce the quality of your picture when uploaded, where flickr does not. It's mainly personal preference though.
  3. The proper way to have your minifig's hands are like this. Right side up, exactly as pictured below. No matter how hard you try, you'll never convince me otherwise.
  4. I'm in your profile creeping on your comments.

  5. The chrome stormtroopers aren't chrome in some places, I'd assume the chrome vader is the same way. My review shows the unchromed part of the stormtrooper.
  6. I'm trying to picture this as an anime, and it fits. I think you accomplished what you wanted and it's identifiable. Nice work.
  7. This looks really good, I especially love Tia, you nailed her look perfectly.
  8. A hardy Happy Birthday from your Pirate overlord! Go eat some cake, and then get back to scouting for the Pirates!
  9. Ok, that's an expensive garden. Even on sale, I think I counted 36 Fisto parts. Really good looking garden though.
  10. I like it, I just bought an Andy Android LEGO creation for my desk, I want one of yours too. The movement is a plus.
  11. These are fantastic, I love how they are all the same size and fit together. These are great and I wish TLG would actually produce something like this, I'm sure it'd sell.
  12. Welcome to the forum, sound like you found the right place.
  13. You may not agree with my delivery, but nothing I said in reference to how his package will be priced was an opinion. And why post just to start an argument, you very simply could have just posted your link as your offer to help.
  14. Time for me to swing into TRU.
  15. I see your point to this thread but any answer you get won't apply directly to your situation. Size of the package matters as well as the weight, plus the departure and destination addresses will play a role in price, Australia is not a town, different parts are farther away. I don't mean to sound rude, but if someone pops in and says "Oh ya, I've shipped there, it'll be $5" then you tell your buyer that and it ends up being $15, you'll be responsible for the difference, that's why I always check before hand.
  16. A review is a little unnecessary but would be welcomed, comparing them to their big set counterparts and verifying the plastic type, chinese or other.
  17. You need to actually bring the package into the post office and have them weigh it and punch in the address, otherwise your guess is as good as mine. Overseas shipping rates are anything but predictable.
  18. I can't believe you finally ran out of SW ships to make. Like always this is accurate and makes you go. How the heck does he make those minis so accurate. Great work, makes me want to go there.
  19. Then they may not be the best candidate for this forum, since out specifically says english will be the language used on this forum.
  20. Products go on clearance when the company is ready to phase them out completely. Physical stores like Target will likely run out of clearance items fast, if a physical store puts an item on clearance, it's likely that only the stock they have left in that store is it. A place like shop@home may last a little longer since their inventory is likely more than a handful of sets like a physical store. If a set you want is on clearance, I suggest you buy it. Otherwise you are getting close to missing out on it.
  21. Sounds like something that wood be interesting to follow.
  22. Of course that's ok, just don't post a picture of every single new piece you add. I like progress threads. I would secondly wait to post until you at least have something to show. A WIP thread with absolutely no pictures would be poor form.
  23. I barely remember the old forum style. I was about to say they never displayed in the profile, but now that I think about it, I do remember seeing Shadows profile with a plethora of tags. I don't really think it's worth the programming time to incorporate it, if the user really really loves their tag, they could display it in their profile, although that'd be kind of weak.
  24. I see you edited your first post right after I posted, if you don't choose me for your assistant, sign me up to play, please.
  25. Def, I'll be your american counterpart. I got a new phone with a bigger screen and it's blazing fast, plus I'm here pretty much all day 7-5 US time, just enough time for you to sleep.
