To me this doesn't look like it's a set I really want, but when combined with the other Hoth sets, this is just going to complete the picture for me, and that red protocol droid is awesome, ironically I don't recall there ever being a red protocol droid? The Luke figure is just awesome, and I actually prefer the Kenny style hood over the old one for Han. This is a BUY set for me. Thanks for the review!

That Savage fig is so cool, but I cannot believe LEGO gave him standard yellow hands, his print is so much lighter than his bright yelow schoolbus hands. Regardless, he has to be one of the coolest new figures and he will be in my collection soon enough. Another great review by Masked Builder.

Great Review! I really like the character comparisons, as they are the winning point in this set for me. I almost wish you hadn't shown me that custom visor because it looks too good not to get. The set for me is kind of blah, but your review made it look good.

I've got to say, I love everything about this set except the price. I think $70, or even %80 would be more reasonable, but that's LEGO. otherwise this set has so much WIN, new faces for Anakin and Obi Wan, although Obi Wan's smirk looks too cartoony for me. Sebulba and Watto just look good, I really want them, but I can''t justify buying this set. As for the Pd Racers, I love how big LEGO made them, usually they skimp down sets like this, but these actually look about right, minus the engine sizes, but they are still generous. All 3 of them look fantastic. It's nice to see classic scenes that we all know in LEGO. I really like the treasure room, your treasure is scattered in all the right places.

As far as the architecture series, this is a very plain set, but you photographed it well, and your monkey suit guy had me laughing. This is a series I wish I would have known more about as i would have collected them, but now it seems too late to try and get them all. Thankfully we have reviewers like you whom show us what we are missing.

I had this problem until series 4. For Series 4 I bought a sealed box and I am doing the same for series 5, and probably 6. For me a box of 60 guaranteeing me at the bare minimum 2 full sets, is plenty for me.

Fantastic review Rufus!! They may be basic bricks, but that's alot of models to build. This is the kind of review that LEGO should be looking for as advertising for this sett, it really shows how these bricks can be used.

It's very homey, I love how simple it it, that tree reminds me of how LEGO used to do them for the forestmen line. The roof is my favorite part, just the right amount of every color.

God that makes me feel old.

You could have posted this MOC and said F U, and I'd still be in love with it, but instead you give it a hilarious story and it's amazing to boot. Fanfreakingtastic, a front page well deserved.

SI-Moc's you take MOC'ing to a whole other level. The lighting is just outstanding, plus the MOC itself. I would have killed for a set this awesome as a kid. As an adult, I will just loathe over it for a few minutes.

I actually think that's a Vader head, much more subtle. Great work though, you really get a sense of feeling, as they rush away and retreat, the broken bridge and just look of stumbling is very cool and gives it a realistic feel. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

I've got to be honest, I love them, it's a cool newer piece that has lots of applications. I actually bought a handful of these in trans orange from my pick a brick wall, just because they are cool.
