  1. Then I am too lazy to give you any type of constructive criticism, or consider this for the blog. It takes only a few seconds to post a picture or two.
  2. People ragging on George Lucas has always bothered me for one main reason. You say he's destroying the OT. Did you forget that he created the OT? Everything that happened in those movies was his idea. Maybe at the time he didn't have the technology to have certain special effects, or after making the prequels he realized something he forgot or decided to update something to better reflect his vision. My point is he is making these updates to make the movies how HE wants them to be and since he created them, he cannot be wrong. Believe me, there are one or two updates that I'm not crazy about, but I don't get all whiny and say I'm not going to buy my favorite movie set in the best video format to date. Are you really going to avoid seeing these films which you are obviously passionate about in HD, all because of an additional word that will affect about 2 second of a 2+ hour movie? Get real.
  3. I use a handful for different things, but s great LEGO app for android is "GetPrice" it searches by set number then gives you the shop at home price and the bricklink prices for average let sold and maybe even the top price.... There its a thread about it on EB somewhere. Otherwise I'm on my browser posting on EB while and listening to a number of different podcasts via my pockrt casts app which is available for android and ios.
  4. I like the idea, but your pictures are a little fuzzy and the backdrop really takes away from the scene, a human sized window with flowers and plants outside is not a good backdrop for a battle.. I'd suggest building a small grassy area and then placing the battle in a studio for photographing, the studio can be as simple as a few pieces of white paper.
  5. In my opinion, no way, there just isn't the demand for it. I mean even if you reviewed every LEGO store on the planet, you'd barely fill a page in that forum. If anything maybe a review index could be added to the general discussion forum, that way as reviews of sites come in they can be added and accessed only when needed instead of creating an entire forum for them.
  6. Seriously?
  7. The monkey arms are a reall cool technique, and overall it looks very clean and well done. That duck is awesome too!
  8. I would assume so, or wait until you hit knight and see what that rank allows.
  9. Is it too late for me to say, "No I don't think LEGO knows." You know for the comedic value?
  10. Alright alright everyone calm down, talk of mega bloks isn't a mortal sin, but being as this is a LEGO forum we tend to look down on mega bloks as an inferior product. To the thread starter if you want to buy PotC mega bloks sets you may need to look to the after market (ebay, craigslist, etc.) OR if you want to move up to the LEGO PotC line of sets then you can visit any toy store since they are still in production. I'll move this thread to LEGO Pirates forum since it's not a MOC and if you want to continue discussing LEGO PotC then please do so here otherwise if you wish to continue discussing the mega bloks line I suggest you find a forum that caters to that interest.
  11. Welcome to the forum Cave Bear, those Collectable minifig's appeal to LEGO fans and collectors in my opinion so I could see those having a hand in bringing people back from their dark ages. Glad you found your way back to a great passion.
  12. The greebling is just awesome, looks movie quality, I can't wait to see more.
  13. I don't have anything that nice but I know I have all the inserts that came with all my older sets, including the BSB. I know I have an advert that shows a huge pirate scene like LEGO used to do to advertise their sets. I'll have to look for it. These though are wonderful, especially the 1989 one.
  14. Haha fantastic, I love the depth of field in your first pictures, truly art!
  15. As an american I appreciate your concern, I really do, but this is a global site, and I learned long ago the US is not the center of the universe. The majority of the members here probably don't even know what your talking about.
  16. Wow, I feel like a megablock, I knew what the gold portion was for, but I couldn't figure out the emerald part, even though I read that review before it was passed and wanted to grade it but A. I didn't have the time, and B. I remember thinking it was so good that I'd have to re read it to find something wrong with it. Again I didn't have a lot of time at the time that time. Way to go Doctor!
  17. I rode my bike to my sisters house for the weekend, 200 miles away. That's a long megablocking trip on an R6. My helmet looks like I lost a yellow paint ball match. Feels good to stretch it's legs, I hit 130 mph just because I was bored and North Dakota isn't called the great plains for nothing, it's flat here, really megablocking flat. Ok, back to drinking
  18. Very cool, looks straight out of avatar. The bridge is boss.
  19. Congratulations Mr. Cracker! Wait, that might have come out wrong.

  20. Congratulations Mr. Phred, I was thinking of recruiting you back to CP, but it looks like you've been taken.

  21. Those are great, I was going to jump in and assume it was LegoStein, but maybe not this time, these are mini but much bigger than his work.
  22. This is simply outstanding! There is so much going on and it's not just quantity, everything is so detailed and looks simply beautiful. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] I have to ask, what gold/chrome piece is in this picture?
  23. The town staff are multiplying! Baddies beware!
  24. Happy Birthday! I hope you don't celebrate in a mini way.
