I wasn't awarded that stuff because I posted a lot, I got them do to contributions to different areas. If anything my crazy posting style was a problem in the beginning, unfortunately being repeated now. Just keep having fun, contributing and good things will come your way,

So two times you comment that you think it might not be alled, yet you post it anyway. As an admin on your own site I'm sure you don't let people who rarely participate in your forum to use your forum like their personal billboard and in our guidelines we express this concern.

IMO LEGO will always have regular sets of their own design with yellow fig's. Licenses are just that licenses to use a certain image or product, and almost if not all licenses have an expiration date. Sure TLG will continue to get new licenses but don't think that means LEGO will stop churning out their own ideas, I happen to know for a fact there will be a new theme from LEGO in 2012, that is not a license. Mod note: It hasn't happened yet, but lets keep this conversation civil and like Zcerberus said this is not the place to bash flesh fig's or vice versa.

So it's a cart that is twice the height of the character fig and the fig's arms can't even be positioned in a way that allows said fig to push the cart. Way to go mega bloks. It was a good review, I'm just not a fan of the product.

My thought exactly, they may not be gigantic sets, but the mini figs and parts that these sets produce will be great for MOC'ing in History related themes and I believe Pirates as well.

I don't understand how you CAN'T see that the Pirates of the Carribean should be in the Pirate forum. How much clearer can it get? They are Pirates I have my reasons why the LOTR stuff should be in licensed and why it should be in the History forum, but it's not my decision and at the end of the day, we all have access to all these forums, so lets not complain about it.

I think the first few years had slow growth, but lately we have been expanding exponentially. I practically consider myself a newer member and I'm 5701. Damn. Another sign of growth is the number of spammers. We may be at 20,000 member now, but the newest member is number 23250, which means there have been roughly 3,000 spammers trying to advertise their junk here. They must of thought we were a pretty good sized audience.

Quite simple, when I got back into LEGO, SW drug me in and I was a member over at FBTB, they played an Aprils fools day joke on their site and switched it to the new power miners theme, it actually stayed like that for quite a wile, my login didn't work, so I searched for a new site, and landed here. I have actually slowed down as far as activity goes, but I'm still here every single day, and always loving it. The growing size presents it's own challenges, but it's great to see so many adults share the passion that I do. It's great to be apart of this community, it's actually the only forum community I visit anymore. Having been active in quite a few in the past. To many more years and 20,000 more members!

I was being a little sarcastic and you proved my point, PotC after pirates of the pirate forum makes sense. Lord of the Rings is not historically accurate so the history forum doesn't make a whole lot of sense. With that being said, those are my thoughts, with the license actually being announced, it's up tho the Admins and moderators to decide where it goes. Licenses usually come out early, which makes sense. They will be plenty of previews and hype for the movie 3 month prior plus licenses last longer than 3 months so they will still be taking full advantage of the movie publicity and even better some customers will already have bought the sets so it will be easier to keep up with the demand come movie time.

Why don't you show us? I just saw this on a blog about 1-2 weeks ago, and someone made a comment about it possibly being done in photoshop, but I didn't see the company say that. Regardless the minifigs looks awesome, which is what we should really commenting on.
