The first picture sells it all for me. If you had no other pictures besides the first, I'd still give it a 10/10. THe pose of the Jester is perfect, it reminds me of a cowering dog or Golem from LOTR. Just a perfect pose. Great Vig!

Great review, I swore this was a different set because I know I have a set with this boat but I don't remember mine having the tow feature. I'll have to double check. Thanks for the pics though, very well taken and fun to look at!

OMG, this is great news, PotC is one of my favorite movie series. THe LEGO line is a stretch, but we can always hope. I wonder the conflit between the regular pirates and the character specific Pirates. I kind of see LEGO having issues doing that. Then again, there is Space and Star Wars. Hmmm

I may not be from the UK, but I cans till appreciate this. That's a perfect job transition. Ruling the universe to crossing gaurd. I guess in both instances, he's in charge.

I feel strongly about this. Yes, it's fine, and here is my reasoning why. LEGO is no longer a childrens building toy company. Sure it's probably still over half of their income, but the AFOL is emerging and is growing in numbers. LEGO knows this. LEGO needs to stop thinking that every single set needs to be able to be built by a 5 year old (I'm being a little sarcastic ). I think LEGO should make even more complicated sets and put that good old age stamp on it if it's too violent. Say 14+ on the box. Then if a parent buys their 7 year old a set that focuses on gun's and war and fighting, then shame on the parent, not LEGO.

Every company makes mistakes. LEGO has come through big time for me. Long story short, I ordered 4 chrome strormtroopers, it got delivered to my apartment and left in the entryway by UPS. Needless to say it got stolen. LEGO resent me 4 more, since UPS said that the type of shipping that LEGO paid for only allowed one drop off attempt.

Complete Gallery with Every Star Wars Minifig?
Big Cam replied to thespurs200708's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I believe I saw this in one of your other posts, it's great, are all the fig's yours? -
It's very simple but it does the character justice. I see the comment for a different head, but I actually like your quite alot for this character. I suppose maybe a smirking head.

Reatil work usually does that to a person. Unlike LEGO, I would love to work there.

Very cool design. Do you have any weights form LEGO boats? I know my police boat set had a LEGO weight, maybe you could add something like that to the truck to help it from rolling forward.

It most definetaly is, I should have quoted you for credits. I also agree with wanting a Sith Anakin from Episode III, that would be one sweet minifig head.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Big Cam replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
OK, well you explained the hoth minifigs, but what about the shadow troopers and Jawas, were those also purchased at that tent sale? -
That is just stunning. The amouint of blue tiles, the attention to detail in the water with the different coloring. Not to mention the shear number if minifigs that he has just for this one MOC. THe time it must have taken. I love all the little scenes like on the new death star, it really makes you appreciate the time that was spent making it and thinking everything up.

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't one of the main reasons. LEGO stores are usually smaller and more open, hence easier to watch items. Toys R Us stores are huge and have many aisles and the manpower just isn't there to monitor the BAP station all day.

1. I'm at work, so gaming sites are blocked 2. Forgive me for asking a question on the topic at hand. 3. If everyone googled everything there would be no need for a forum to have conversations about this kind of stuff.

I wasn't specifically referring to LEGO websites, just websites or forums all together. Usually when someone is done or no longer wants to deal with it, they sell the enitre site to someone else. I understand forums are set up much easier than a website from the ground up. I am the first to admit I have no idea on the coding your talking about. That doesn't mean that Dan is the only one in the world who does. As I said it was mearly a suggestion since apparently Dan doesn't have much of an interest in it anymore. Someone with a basic understanding of the coding could easily keep the site running as is. The main problem is the speed, which would not cost 10's of thousands of dollars a year to host, a few thousand maybe but I know multiple forum owners and website owners and it can get expensive but it also depends on who you go through. Again, I don't want to make this an argument or a challenge as to who can prove more points so I'll have this as my last post in here. I was only suggesting a solution to the problem at hand. Cheers

Great idea, but I think the amount of LEGO bricks needed to fuflill the hundreds of Toys R US stores would be too great, as opposed to the handfull of LEGO stores around the world which is much easier to manage. Plus I think it's kind of their exclusive thing, "only at LEGO stores" Probabaly the same reason you can't buy LEGO keychains or watches or exclusive stuff like the chrome stormie. LEGO has to have something all their own. I totally agree that'd it'd be a good thing for the consumer, but I think it's not a wise move on LEGO's part.

Any confirmation if this is available for the 360 yet? The Tatooine download that is.

I would totally be for that. But I really don't think he'll mess with the movies. I think the animated stuff is his way of stretching out and making a bigger impact while keeping new Star Wars fans entertained.

I came across this site a few yearsa go and it looks like he still isn't done with the 46 inch Star Destroyer but his other models are worth a look. He builds them himself and uses fiber for intrecate lighting. THe final product looks just like the ones in the movie, it's amazing. http://stardestroyerproject.com/default.aspx He has lots of models on the left hand side of the page you can look at. Example

Thanks for the insight. I know you know him personally. I wasn't suggest he give up the name, I was suggesting he sell the entore webiste, name and all. This happens all the time. The only reason I suggested it is because you said yourself he has kind of moved on from the LEGO scene and doesn't have the time to maintain the site. A new owner would probably have the ambition and money to hire a new designer to keep it up to speed. That's all I was suggesting.

It doesn't sound like a ferrari. It sounds like a ricer car, like a honda with a big can for an exhaust. The Ferrari is high pitched but still has a grumble when revs come back down. Sorry but having been in 2 ferrari's and having been next to many riced out civics and camrys and scions and so forth, that Camry engine does not sound like a Ferrari V8.

Alright, great pic, nice and clear. The lines look a tad crooked but still looks good. Thanks for the info on the markers not scratching off.

The addition of the gun is great. I agree that it being a bit smaller than scale is good, the regular blaster is awfully big for the LEGO fig's. Great great job.

Very nice. The hangar is ssuburb, it could be a little bigger but I love the walls, what pieces are those? The fig with the landing lights is a nice touch and OMG the ship. This looks so much like a real set, I wish it was. The blue coloring is perfect for clone use and the orange in the back on the wings and center of the ship are a great touch. Plus it hints forward to the Imperial Landing craft. Great MOC!
