I've been reading this thread and following it for months. I am really imprseed and commend you on the progress. It's truley massive!

Isn't Captain Antilles the only Star Wars set to have a reversable face besides Zam Wessel? It doesn't seem to be a common theme in the Star Wars line, but it's definetaly possible.

Nice MOC, I really like the repelling snowtrooper. I agree with the blood comment, but hey, if you like it, that's all that matters. As for the hidden Tusken room, there is always room for Tuskens.

WOW, that's over $600 in 2 fig sets. wow

Well since I've been actively bnuying sets, I have not missed out on anything I have wanted. Currently the Endor Set is on my mind, and I want it so bad, that if for some reasoin I end up missin git, I'll end up paying too much for one off bricklink.

If you could revive one production year's sets...
Big Cam replied to Mos_Eisley's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I actually wouldn't do any at all. I'm ok with all the new stuff that's been coming out. I'm more of a fleshie guy anyway so the yellow sets aren't that appealing to me. -
The worst thing that can happen to a LEGO Pirate collector
Big Cam replied to General Armendariz's topic in LEGO Pirates
That is most unfortunate! I would be greatly dissapointed if that happened. I have to play devils advocate though. Is it the dogs fault for chewing it up, or your fault for leaving it where the dofg can get it? I hope your not to hard on you dog, who has no idea he/she did sonething wrong. -
That's a great start to what could be an awesome base setup, besides the mismatched basefplate, its looking really good. I'd be inclined to see the final product with it inhabitted with minifigs.

It looks very short, do you have a side profile shot so we can see the actual dimensions? Short or not it looks good. I love the finishing touch on the rear.
-
I agree. The bricklink system is actually very well lade out, and they instruct doing just that. Every option they have should be used throughout the process.

Lily Allen Came on randomly on pandora. Gotta love internet radio!

The first honda pictureed was a concept and is going no where due to the economy and the second image I am almost certain is a concept rendition of the accord, which of course was toned down quite a bit for production.

Glad you understand! With that said, the mini star destroter alone is great, looks really to scale to be honest. So as a stand alone mini, I'd buy it.
-
That stinks but it sounds like a "Lesson learned" type of scenario. I feel bad for you, but it's your own fault that this is now concluded in a way your not happy with. Feedback should never be given until you have inspected all pieces and are 100% satisfied.

This image has been posted numerous times before. I think the image is just so grainy and dark it makes him look darker. I wouldn't expect a new color for our little droid friend.

Last night I watched Tuesdays episode of Hells Kitchen. Awesome 2 hour episode, I can't wait for next Tuesday.
-
I don't get it? It doesn't even really look like an R2 unit anymore, nor can it stand upright.
-
I think clearer pictures are needed, adn is that a sinlge rear leg? How does it walk?

The problem is that huge following is 99% adults. For as awesome as us AFOL's are, I don't think LEGO designs sets specifically with us in mind. Star Trek would have no real appeal to young kids which is primarily LEGO's target market. Also the Mega Blocks issue as well as LEGO already having the Star Wars theme as well as their own Space theme. I can almost guarantee this is not happening fo the reasons above.

The new ninja torso would be sweet, I wish we could pose our minifigs as freely as they do. (I know, wishful thinking)

The clone impulse set makes perfect sense and is an awesome idea. I'm not crazt about the mini death star becasue it isn't consistent with other impulse sets. Normally the small part that goes with the fig is something the fig can use or directly able to interact with the minifig. The mini destroyer doesn't really fit that bill. So with that said, I don't like the Imperial officer and mini star destroyer, but the crab droid is brilliant. The crab droid is a lifesize enemy of the clone so it interacts nicely, and I love the design. So I guess good and bad from me, either way, you are creative and I like the pictures.

I have to agree, sometimes shots that we think are mistakes or bad, turn out to be awesome. The lighting on that helmet almost makes it look non-LEGO. I dig it alot.

The Adventures of Clutch Powers!
Big Cam replied to The Alchemyst's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I know this is a global site, but I think the accepted default language is English. I can't read any of the link except 1st LEGO DVD movie. On that note, I just discovered an existing thread on this topic. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33632
