  1. As you make very good points, I still think it could happen, vehicles aren't necessary in a game as you usually walk around the whole time anyway.
  2. Oh, I have on demand through my cable company, I'll have to check to see if this is avaivable.
  3. I actually do think there are smallers sets with less pieces but your review is great. I think I might own this set? Nice pictures, all the good info and no rubbish. You should join the reviewers academy.
  4. Great work, I must say this looks so much better and believable than the smaller crane. The little one was just too little. I also love the stabalizer arms, that's a great touch.
  5. I think they are gread, especially the riding mower with the fold down blades. They all look pretty good and right to scale.
  6. Very very true, I apologize for generalizing my American situation. I guess the majority of my statement still stands ture, i think in general LEGO is getting more expensive but still, as a collector, I'd get at least one of each.
  7. Wow, I'm happy this got bumped, this is quite amazing. It looks so legit, just like the movie version, fantastic job!!

    Car Talk

I hate to make accusations like that, but it's pretty unbelievable, I mean I can pull a picture of a gallardo off the web and tell you guys it's mine, it doesn't make it true. BTW, this is my gallardo.
  9. Very nice scene from a classic scene. wait, that sounds dumb. I like how you included the door piece, it really adds to the whole feel, like you are zoomed in on a bigger picture.
  10. Watch who you accuse, I was not the one to bump this old thread, if you look the post before mine was an hour and 40 minutes before me. I was mearly contributing to an active thread.
  11. So is this a channel that plays LEGO related programming 24 hours a day, or was this a one hour special on a different channel
  12. Your right, I'm sorry my views were wrong.
  13. My jaw is on the floor. Are you married, what does your wife think of her car sitting outside. You sir are dedicated, and I cannot wait to see the end result of this!!
  14. Alot has changed since 1989, the dollar is worth less and LEGO has gotten greedy. It's no surprise that the 2009 pirate sets are much more cost per piece, but that's the nature of the game. If you are a dedicated pirates collector, I would at least get one of each 2009 set. Even if some seem like a bit of a rip off, you'll be happy in 3 years.
  15. Well as long as it's already been bumped. This set reminds me of my childhood and seems like it would have been a great deal back in the day, 6 soldiers!! I loved the old playset style LEGO sets. I know it's past it's prime but this is a great review, and if DJ2005 happens to see this, KUDO's. I have alot of these solders in my old collections but I don't think I ever had this set. This is one I'm sure I drooled over this set as a kid.
  16. I love it, the larger tires are somethign I haven't seen before, of course I don't have any newer Town sets. The winch on the trailer is a great touch too. I see you built it perfectly to fir the sports car. Great job!
  17. You know I must say I've been passing over this thread on the Active Topics page becasue I had low expectations and I must apologize, these are amazingly accurate. They would be cooler if they had tiles on top, but still they are very accurate to their real life counterparts.
  18. I have used it a few times, but I'll be honest, I only looked at the review index.
  19. Are you kidding, this has been mentioned, EB even has a review in the works in the Reviewers Academy.

    Space Auger!

Interesting set idea, I hope it throws that stolen garbage in the newly created black hole. The design is functional though, its got a nice arm for staeling trash and looks to be very powerful judging by those engines. Fun MOC, I bet it has some good play value.
  21. The bit on shipping is so true and completely ridiculous and sad.
  22. I have to agree, that their shipping rates have always sat just a little off with me. Especially when sometimes they come not in the best condition. I think TLG as a whole is a great company though, offering replacement parts for mising parts and whatnot. I do agree, after like a few hundred dollars, shipping should definetaly be free, or at least reduced.
  23. Yes I do, but it doesn't change my opinion. I think it's clear that LEGO is predominately dominant as the market standard for building bricks. That's where I stand as well.
  24. Wow, talk about overpriced. I can't believe no one has succesfully done this before.
  25. Wow, that spreadsheet looks amazing, luckily all of my sets are in baggies so I know what parts are where.
