  1. Now that's just wrong, you'd get gas in your bed.
  2. Congratultions Otters!! Funy creation, that face is great!
  3. Looks like you were here before me so I don't know you but it's ood to have another active member, welcome back!
  4. Welcome to the forum, I look forward to seeing your creations!
  5. They are all fantastic and there's lots to say about each, first off the first one has a great tree and I like your snow effect. THe kid shucking spears is classic. I like the humor in the second one, I assume the dragon is inside, and hence the family is outside? Nice work. The third one is astetically pleasing, that dragon is awesome, and you managed to find the center point and suspend it with one clear rod, great work, they all look really good and could ahve easily deserved a thread of their own!
  6. I see it as a possibility but not very likely. Water from a tap usually doesn't get quite hot enough to do that kind of damage, although prolonged exposure could cause this. I'd suggest using warm water adn some soap, no need to scorch your bricks.
  7. Sadly I think this will be the only green army men set that LEGO makes. I can't really see any other need, I mean unless they include a jump rope for that scene. With that said I'm going to be buying at least ten of these sets. Great tank BTW, it's the right size I think.
  8. But he did not know if she was innocent or not, The only one who should be doing any killing is the Governor after a town concensus has been met. If I was scum don't you think I'd like the idea of someone helping the mob kill off townies?? This is the last thing I want and why he cannot be allowed to go free. I can't believe you are justifying his killing because a few others also kind of had the smae hunch.
  9. This is not a hunch, you've admitted to killing someone.
  10. Its about right and wrong, anyone willing to kill on a hunch can most likely be influenced by the mafia.
  11. Um, I'm a police officer, I can't ignore what you've told us.
  12. Excuse me? Unless the townsfolk agree with a majority no one is to be eliminated by the city of Stapleton. No citizen has the right to take the law into their own hands. What if this vigilante decided to kill robbie willis because we were at one point suspicious? He is not the voice of this city, nor the executor. The city will vote and decide, not allow one man to do as he pleases. For all we know he's a vigilante but also affiliated with the mob. We don't know, but we do know he's killing people. You know, you sound awfully suspicious standing up for an admitted killer, don't think that is going unnoticed.
  13. This town has no place for a murder of innocent Townies Vote: Dr. Wilkerson/Ricecracker
  14. This is not entirely true. It depends on your computer processing power and internet speed. It takes so long because it actually opens up another program and runs it from within the internet explorer window, plus it has to download the entire thing before displaying it. It takes longer to download this way as opposed to saving it to your computer because it is rendering it and trying to display it the whole time its downloading it. I can open them up just fine within an internet window but it does take upwards of a minute, and that is with my companies very up do date computer and super fast internet speed.
  15. No actually it was prompted becasue of this thread.
  16. I am making this quick tutorial to demonstrate how you can get high quality PDF back up's of your favorite LEGO set instructions at absolutely no charge! Thanks TLG!! Forgive all the pictures but I want to make sure there are no questions. Step 1: Find a LEGO set in which you really want or may even need the instructions for. I choose 7256 Anakins Episode 3 Starfighter. Step 2: Go to www.LEGO.com No picture is really needed here. Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link titled "Customer Service" Step 4: Click on the link titled "Building Instructions" Step 4: From here, you can now choose to either enter a set number,a keyword, or search by brand. By brand they mean, catebories like Agents, or Star Wars, or Spongebob, so basically you can narrow your search down quite a bit, if you don't have a set number. I'm going to search by set number since I have it. Step 5: Since it was an exact match, it only brings up one set. Go ahead and click on the set name, just one click is needed, not two. Step 6: If you click on that link where the arrow points you to, it will bring up the picture below. Once it is looking like the picture below you'll see the download link. Your going to want to use your mouse and RIGHT click that little image. Step 7: Once you right click the downlaod image, you should see this. You want to choose "save target as" Step 8: This will bring up a save box. I recomend choosing the desktop so it's real easy to find, and then you can change the name if you want, a good canidate would be 7256.pdf Remember to keep the .pdf at the end of the name or it won't save it correctly. Once you have choosen where to save it and what you want it to be named, click save. Step 9: Sit back and relax for a minute or two depending on your internet speed, you should see this box and you can watch your progress and eagerly await your free st of instructions. Once it is complete you can either click open, or just close this dialog box and then go to your desktop and your instructions will be waiting. Thanks for reading, I hope it helped you.
  17. That would make my day but then again, most impulse sets are about $3 and for $11 you can get 4 figs, so it's actually $1 cheaper to buy 4 figs at a time in this little batlepack. I have to agree, although I'd be in for an impulse set of Green Army Men
  18. hahaha, I had to stare at it for a second to figure out what everythign was. thanks for the smile, have a great new year!
  19. Be sure to choose the pages to print, that way you can cut out useless pages like the stuff at the end, or build at your computer desk. 40 pages will use alot of color ink. EDIT: You think I should make up a tutorial for this. I'm sure others have had this problem. I could take screen shots and everything.
  20. If you read the tutorials around the forum, they teach you how to deeplink images from brickshelf which allows them to be posted on a forum even when the folder is not public yet. Read me, thanks Shadows
  21. Great Success! Don't worry about it, I wouldn't have offered if I didn't want to do it. BTW it took no time at all
  22. Yes, absoultely. Go to the LEGO site that I have linked and enter your set number and when it comes up there is a little blue button that says download. Now instead of clicking this like normal, right click it and when your options box comes up, choose "Save target as" This will then let you choose where to save it. I suggest your desktop, so it's easy to find. Then click save and you can watch it's progress. Make sure you have adobe acrobat reader installed on your computer, which I kind of assume you do, if not you can download it for free here. Let me know if you have any more questions. On a side note, if you sat there and waited long enough your internet explorer would evetually load the PDF but the thing there is the IE window has to process the file and download the whole thing first, which takes time.
  23. OK, I converted it to Word and it's twice the size. I'd be happy to email you either copy.
  24. TLG is your friend Enter your set number and if the PDF is available, then you can download it. i checked this set is up there. EDIT: I noticed you said non-pdf. It's not that big, I downloaded it in like 10 seconds, but if PDF just won't do, I can convert it to Word or something and email it to you? Or I could zip it?? Or just email the PDF. I'm here to help, what do you want me to do?
  25. Great looking MOC, and I love the custom Marine fig's you've made. Simple changes but they look great! Thanks for doing what you do for our country, us civilians can't ever pay you back!
