  1. *sighs* Another type of these topics... I guess I'll through in my two cents. To be honest, I think it may be a tie. Sure the Toa have all of their powers and they stand for justice, but so does Alpha Team. Their passion for saving and protecting others actually might make them great allies. Even if they WERE to fight each other they would probably be evenly matched. Also BIONICLE and HERO Factory are kinda like bread & butter. BIONICLE is the butter - It's good, it's got flavor, and makes things taste awesome! But also like butter, if you put too much you get fat, unhealthy, sluggish, and it can make the bread soggy. Very soggy. Now HERO Factory is the bread - sure it's boring, plain, and sometimes just doesn't taste right on it's own. BUT if you add just the right amount of flavor and put it into a toaster-over, you wind up with a HF Logo on that once boring piece of bread. And that's just awesome.... Yeah, now I want a Toaster-oven that CAN place the HF logo on it!
  2. I gotta say; this next wave looks very promising. Out of all the smaller "Skull" sets (Skull Grinder is not included because that's too obvious), Skull Scorpio's fuction ACTUALLY looks fun. I'm kinda a sucker when it comes to functions (I like including LEGO type functions into my MOCs) and Scorpy-Scor (yes, that's his name that I'll call him) is no exception. I'll post my thoughts on the other sets at a later time. That Ekimu though... *sigh* now I really wanna cosplay as him. Time to buy a lot of foam-board. A lot.
  3. I agree with this because if the hammer was double-sided the studs would hit your own hand when you turn the axel. I seriously think its going to be half-and-half as well.
  4. Speaking of proto-parts, I find it weird that previous parts that were "Prototypes" were essentially just recolors that were exclusive to BZP and other places. Don't get me wrong, but Prototyped parts DO look cool (I'm talking to you Purple Tarix Mask). Now I'm wondering if LEGO has a different colored MoCr laying somewhere...
  5. OMG, every time I search Bionicle 2015 into google image, this happens at least once a week: I get at least one Kill la Kill picture! LOL But anyways, Why are we still debating over this Vahi conspiracy again? We could be talking about something else, like where is the temple of time located? No one has ever pondered this?
  6. It's funny that you mentioned those because I made a Constraction Vehicle Moc of a Speedorz bike for my Human Self-MOC, Orion Stargazer. It used several Drop Ship parts too. I Called it the "Hero Factory Assault Cycle (used the HFAC drop Ship sticker for that ). I'll post pics later...Anyways, back on-topic, Even though its assumed that Ekimu won't have his hammer, I still believe he will. It's a defining trait for Ekimu due to him being the Mask Maker. Also how would a "double-sided rapid shooter work? Turning the axle would have studs fly towards you as well.... Hrrmmm.... maybe LEGO will use that one barrel piece used in the Iron Man Ultrabuild?
  7. To be fair, we didn't get a Makuta set in Gen 1 until 2003. I believe LEGO will release him in the future, perhaps in 2017 for the "finale".
  8. Bionicle 2015 is officially released!!!

  9. *Looks at "Don't hug me, I'm scared" series and shudders*Soooo no new animation episode yet... but I have been re-watching them over and over. Still enjoying them can't wait until the later ones! My favorite out of all is still The Legend, even though it's technically not an Episode. What are you guys' favorite episode?
  10. Does anyone remember those 500 pieces buckets that Bionicle had back then? I never owned one but I think that it would be cool if LEGO released one for CCBS in later years. I could dream...
  11. This makes me wonder what the kids who use google, but never knew of Bionicle 2001-2010 series, would think... I hope LEGO can fix that because I don't want the kids to look up 2001-2010 Bionicle stuff. Its story gets really confusing later on (kinda like Evangelion....) and I don't want that for them.
  12. Hey happy new years to all and YAY Bionicle! I heard about the new APP and how it was now available on IOS. I went to Google Play's website and it's listed on LEGO's profile so it should be able to play for those with an Android (like me ). I'll let you guys know what I think of it too!
  13. The city that he may be refering to could be the one that's seen on that one concept art with the toa overlooking a ruined city-like area( the one with the temple on the hill). It was also seen in The Legend trailer, though I thought that was where the Temple of Time was but both buildings have different architecture. See here: http://biosector01.c..._Okoto_City.jpgand here: http://biosector01.c...deo_Okoto_1.png Temple of Time: http://biosector01.c...r_Animation.png There's too many buildings and other locations on Okoto that I want to know more about ...
  14. Now we just need them to have an epic rap battle - Majora's Mask vs The Mask of Ultimate Power. Oh, I now have most of the sets now. I'm just missing Onua and Gali but so far all of them have been enjoyable (yes, even LOSS)! There are a few minor tweaks that I need to make but other than that these are solid sets. My favorite would have to be Tahu.
  15. I'm going to miss it too Meso...BTW did anyone notice that in the Bionicle catalogue(the one w/ the "Skull Mask") that the Okoto map's compass is made up of CCBS and Gurahk staffs. Someone has to build a replica! Also I want LEGO to release that map of Okoto without the Toa and Protector overlays. It looks amazing!
  16. Hey guys, have you seen the Tahu/PoF combiner on LEGO Club's Build section. This is different from the power up modes. Here's a link: http://www.lego.com/en-us/club/member/building-instructions/details/tahu-fa3fa53404284937bc287a9c8a05bd1a
  17. Well, technically we don't know where Makuta is. I think that it's safe to assume that the Protectors couldn't find his body and only found Ekimu's. Makuta might've re-awoken and traveled to the ancient city where LOSS is said to be. LOSS is guarding the entrance to it which means that he's guarding Makuta as well. on the animation Okoto map there is a canyon-like area in the dessert region. It's near the central mountains. That might be where the ancient city is located.
  18. Christmas!!!!! YAY!!!!!

  19. Found Kopaka, Water Protector, and Earth Protector at my local Target( Gilbert AZ)! *Sigh* I really wanted to buy at the LEGO Store but couldn't resist . Btw I really like them so far! Great job LEGO!!!
  20. Hey guys, it's not a huge update but LOSS character page has added some stuff. Like I said it's not much...
  21. Yeah... Usually Target is late to the party . on the topic of story content: does anyone think that the books will tell the start of the story or will it be the second half due to the animations telling the beginning?
  22. Even if the sets come out early, i'll still be getting them at my local LEGO Store (Chandler, Az). I want to buy them from the "source" so to speak. TLG did good with all of the Bionicle content (NYCC, Websites, contest, etc.) and should get praised (not too much, don't go over the top ;D) for bringing back a beloved theme. It may just be me but I want to show my love for LEGO by buying at their stores.
  23. On the topic of modifying sets, LOSS is getting a somewhat overhaul revamp for me. First off I'll be changing the gender of LOSS to female (mostly because we don't see many female villains let alone characters in Bionicle). The leg function will remain the same but will have longer legs using friction joints. She will be based off of the mythological creature known as a Drider (half humanoid half spider). Her upper body build will be that of Gali's and will have massive talon claws (using Pyrox horns) that can grip onto Masks. Her left arm will have a rapid shooter too and the right arm is the gear function. She will be wearing the Gold Mask of Skull Spiders but it will have a "crown" on it. Since her body is based around Gali's, she also has shoulder pads. Using extra 2015 heads she can have other Skull Spiders attached to her (inspired by actual mother spiders that carry their young) Oh BTW she will be renamed to Aracxia - Queen of Skull Spiders
  24. I Wish that Touhou Project had a LEGO Theme
