will you or anyone else be reviewing any other summer 2009 indiana jones sets? I really want to see the play features in ambush in cairo and chauchilla cemetery battle

Who thinks that there could be a back to the future liscence. The sets really could be a great addition to any collection. Some sets could be building from the small town in the first one and you can hook them all together to make the complete town! Plus the minifigs would be great. I mean who wouldn't want some 50's figs?

Has anyone heard anything about anymore Indy sets that are coming out later this year (after the summer wave) or in 2010. I haven't heard anything but someone may have. post anything if you have.

I was just listing posibilties for more sets so people realize that there aren't only a few ideas left. By the way on your post you left out some important sets that could be made.

No new ideas? there are enough ideas for at least 2 more years if not 3. Read my list of set ideas on that same topic.

I agree with you. and yes i have known that this was spongebob's tenth aniversary for quite some time now. and lets face it the line is not the best designed or the best selling but I think that lego should stick with the nickelodeon liscence and improve on what the already have. But I'm just sayin' the line can't last for much longer what new sets can the make? the disney liscence is a cheap gimic to get money. And by the way Jimmy neutron and fairly odd parents probably aren't the best themes for lego. Perhaps back at the barnyard or the mighty bee could be made.

Who thinks that lago could maka an Ultimate collectors Series line. They could make the tank, the flying wing, the zeppelin, maybe even the u-boat. I think that these are over the horizon, what do you think?

We haven't heard anything about 2010 except that lego is doing a new disney theme. Based on your theory, Star Wars and Indiana Jones could also end next year. They don't have to keep making sets even if they have the license for the product. I never loved the Spongebob sets, but I still can't understand why people hate it so much. I'm not talking about 2010, who knows what will happen in '10 but I mean later this year in 2009 we already know about the new Indy and Star Wars sets for the summer but I've heard nothing about the spongebob summer sets. And the Indiana Jones and Star Wars Liscences are some of Legos most popular themes the odds of those lines ending next year are slim to none. however the star wars liscence ends in 2011 really. can you give a link to the page. I want to the see this for myself.

How much longer can the Spongbob line last. There are no plans that we've heard of for new sets and really what new sets can they make? It's not like I ever did like any of the sets in the first place. The sets were poorly built and really never got my attention. I think the Spongebob line will be replaced by the upcoming disney lines. What do you think?

The Zeppelin would include the biplane and the airplane attack set would include the car It's Club Obi Wan not Club kenobi. You know that scene at the begining of Temple of doom. And a tri motor would be nice and more likely than the club but a Club Obi wan would be better.

Honestly I think the line will last 2 to 3 more years . There are a lot of ideas for future sets that could be made. However the future of the line is very dependant on the consumers and how well it will sell. If it only sold well in 2008 because of Cystal Skull (highly doubt) then it may not last to much longer Set Ideas Raiders Marions Bar (brawl in nepal)- with Indy, Marion, Toht, and 2 Sherpa henchmen. Includes fireplace, moveable table, staff of ra headpiece, and long bar with stools and wine bottles. $20-$40 Map Room(Treasure Discovery)- With Indy(map room), and Sallah w/ rope. Set probably won't include interior dome. Includes Staff of Ra, layout of Tanis, and a place in the floor where you can stick the staff into. $10-$20 Staff Car- with Belloq(white suit), Toht, Diethrich, and Driver. The black car from the car chase. Includes luggage for back, and a new car seat interior piece would need to be made. $10-$15 Bantu Wind and Submarine(Escape from Cairo)- with Belloq(White Shirt), Toht, Dietrich, submarine captain, soldier, Marion, Indy, Cpt. Katanga, and pirate sailors. Includes Huge cargo ship with 2 rooms (ark holding, and Indys/marions room) and captains cabin, Submarine would include flickfire of spring cannon, and small room inside for figures. $90-$100 (like city harbor) Opening of the Ark- with Indy(disguise), Marion, Belloq(ceremony), Toht, Dietrich, 1 Soldier, and double faced ark ghost . Huge zepplin with 2 levels one with tables and windows, and storage area on the bottom level, and a pilot house on the botom of the zepplin, includes pieces to hook on bi-plane from airplane escape on the bottom. $70-$80 Tank Chase- With Indy, Henry Jones, Vogel, Elsa, Sallah, Donavan, Marcus Brody, and Tank driver. Includes to horses, a car, and huge tank, with interior and flick fire cannons.$50-$60 Temple of the Grail(quest for the Holy Grail)- with, Indy, Henry Jones, Sallah, marcus brody, donavan, Elsa, Grail knight, and soldier. Includes 3 tasks to get to the grail, Spinning saw blades, tiles with letters on them, and a bridge with clear bricks to get across, the final challenge, in a room with a bunch of false grails, and only 1 real one. $60-$90 Crystal Skull The Lost Warehouse- with Mac, Indy, Spalko, dovchenko, and 2 soldiers. Includes to cars a jeep and a large truck, a lot of huge crates (like in city harbor but brown), huge sliding double doors, and wooden planks over to top of the warehouse. $50 Ride on the Rocket Sled- with Indy, and dovchenko. Includes large rocket sled with track and prairie dogs. On side is in the ware house with controls and and levers. $30 Doom Town- with Indy, 4 manikins, and 1 soldier. Includes 1 50's car and 1 russian jeep, also includes 1 house with fridge, Plus a tower with dropping neuclear bomb. The house can somehow fall apart. $50 Campus Chase- With Mutt, Indy(suit), greaser, 3 Colledge students,and 2 kgb. Includes Arnies diner, with tables and bar, setup like corner store, small 50's diner. University, with classroom and library with lots of books and a chalkboard. Mutt's motor cycle and a 50's car are also includes, plus a statue with falling head. $60-$70 Jungle Chase- With Indy, Oxley, marion, Mutt, mac, and Spalko. Includes to duck boats and 1 jeep, swords, trees, monkeys, and ants are also included. $50

the line will last as long as the people will buy the sets. If lego continues making great figures and vehicles then it will continue to sell and the line will last longer. if lego gets lazy and only makes a few good sets and poorly built vehicles then the line will have an early death snakes why'd it have to be snakes?

the odds of lego making a minifig scaled zeplen are high. but it probably wouldn't include the plane because it's already in another set. I wish they had made that set with the car and made the plane to go with the zepplin

I have been thinking about the sixth set in the summer release. Everything looks great so far but I've noticed in 2009 2 sets from each film are being made except for crystal skull where we just got one set. Perhaps the sixth exclusive set will be from crystal skull. I'm hoping for area 51 or the diner scene.

Good point, I have also been disapointed with the flying wing myself, I hope they make a UCS version
