  1. for some great screen shots just go here: http://www.theraider.net/films/crusade/dvd_gallery_03.php Looking at the pictures, this set is EXTREMELY accurate, the only problem is the colors on the fighter plane seems to have more green in pictures.
  2. Should we be expecting a review?
  3. Finally, someone who agrees with me. Indiana Jones has A LOT of potential and plenty of sets to make. I think it will last at LEAST 3 more years. so far they've only done 7 or 8 sets per year. Spongebob ending was officialy announced on lego.wikia.com. Ideas For Indy Sets Brawl in Nepal,Large Boat Plane,Map Room,Staff car,Bantu Wind & submarine,Ark Opening,Club Obi Wan, Ford tri motor, village, journey to pankot, pankot palace,bugtunnel/death trap, temple of kali(add on), Mines (add on), More track pieces,Battle on the Bridge,Young Indy train, extra track,Boat escape,Venice catacombs under library,Brunwald castle, Zepplin,Car,Tank Chase,Temple of the Holy Grail,Area 51,rocket sled, doom town,Mutts motorcycle chase (includes Diner, and colledge),Jungle Chase, Plus some UCS models, and a few sets from Indiana Jones and the staff of kings. thats 32-40 which is enough to last 4-5 more years of Indy!
  4. I can definitley see some small sets made that can be connected to make a bigger set, like the jabbas palace sets. I thinking they could make 2 or 4 small sets to form a big club obi wan, 4 smalls sets to make the temple of the grail, and some small sets to make doom town. what do you think?
  5. I wanted to know what licensed theme will be over next year. I know that lego is getting ben 10 and Disney licensed themes but all that I know is ending is spongebob. I also know star wars is not ending next year so I guess its' betweeen the ferrari and lamborghini , and the indiana jones theme or will they just only end spongebob and have 5 licensed themes? I know Indy and F&L have more possibilities.
  6. just post some pics when you're done!
  7. it's a custom MOC made by brian williams and shown at brickworld 2008. I wish that was a real set coming out real soon, but sadly it's not (for now at least) but you never know lego has surpirsed me before!
  8. I know that short rounds car is a "1936 auburn boattail speedster" so why don't you look that up on google images. I have yet to find out what type of car lao che and co. drive maybe a chinese car? or go to... http://www.theraider.net/films/todoom/dvd_gallery_01.php where there are plenty of pics from that car chase
  9. I'm really expecting a mine cart expansion track, It could go great with the set and for train collectors who don't feel like buying a $90 set just for the track pieces. I am also epecting a temple recue set with sacrificial cage, Huge kali statue, chatter lal, short round, willie(ceremony), indy (no shirt) , and 2 guards. It could be used seperatly to get people who couldn't buy 7199 to get this set instead but could also be atached to 7199 to complete your temple of doom! Mola ram isn't in it for marketing purposes, he should be an exclusive to 7199 and a bridge set! Also a complete mining are could be made as a medium size set with the battle on the steam roller, some mine cart track, a mine cart (extra one for 7199), some ladders and a small intrance in the top, It could include short round, Indy (7199), willie (7199), 2 slave children?, and 1 shirtless guard. This could be added onto the back of 7199. Then in 2010 or 2011 the big set could be pankot palace which could also be connected to 7199 somehow. This could create the entire temple sequences or just some of your favorites. 7199 is the beggining of a beutiful line slevte corps. great review, but how high is the temple piece? I've been dying to know I saw something like that on the MOC pages. You wouldn'y happen to be "Indy ram" on there would you? (sorry if I'm mistaking)
  10. Thank you so much! I can't wait to find out if it is or not. The Indy theme is extremely clever and they have a lot more to make (at least 2 more years worth) Still plenty of car chases to chase, fight scenes to fight, and lost tombs to explore. I can't imagine the lego company ending such a well taken theme after only 2 short years. Let the adventure Continue!
  11. Good luck! tell us if you win!
  12. I saw that too! I think it is just representing what you'll make for the contest. Probably not a set but just saying "this could be your building"
  13. I know this is going to make me sound like a total beginer noob, but what does "JPY" mean I've been wondering for some time. And by the way if you want to find the pics just search on brickshelf for them. I myself am going to wait and appreciate whoever took the pics off.
  14. I also have a soft spot for harry potter, but the adventurers line really got me into lego, but for a while I had almost completely stoped building lego at all , But Indy is really what got me back into it!
  15. replace agents with Jones and you got a list! but I doubt that lego will make rock band sets or more harry potter sets. I think the 2 new themes will be western, and then the disney theme
  16. where's indiana jones and star wars. I know both themes will be conitnuing into 2010. Even if there aren't very much more sets for Indy they can still go another year and so can star wars for sure!
  17. The Jones theme can squeeze out 2 or heck even 3 more years if it continues to sell there are plenty of great sets they haven't done yet. ie: ark opening, submarine, map room, club obi wan, tri motor plane, elephants/palace, spike room, bridge, train, library, tank, and grail temple, warehouse, rocket sled, motorcycle chase, and possibly a university. That's 16 sets and according to your theory 2 years worth of sets.
  18. Don't get me wrong, I love the star wars theme . But it already has its own theme page. I really wanted to keep this with all other licensed themes (Spongebob, batman, Indy, Harry Potter etc.) Plus if I did include star wars, almost everyone would've voted for it . I really was interested in what people though of other themes, not star wars. Besides, we already know how much everyone loves star wars as it is. Ha! , I guess it really is that obvious
  19. What's your favorite licensed theme (excluding star wars) Post the theme and your reasoning. Note: this isn't a topic to talk about why you hate a certain theme but to talk about how you love another one. Mine has to be Indiana Jones. Lets face it, jones has someof the best figures, the best vehicles(not including star wars ) and the best set features. Indiana Jones is just a really fun and well designed theme. Plus unlike star wars you can actually be able to collect all the sets, because they aren't way over priced but they don't make new sets extremely often . Plus it's got tons of rare pices and colors to go along with the sets (dark green, tan, grey, brown) Indiana Jones is the ultimate lego theme (not including star wars!)
  20. Yes! , I finally got it right . Maybe if lego does read this they will want to make it even more knowing that people would want it!
  21. lions and rhinos for the young indy scene in the last crusade! where they were on the circus train!
  22. Mine (5592) is a duplo set coming out later this year called "my first plane" I don't think I'll get it though.
  23. another mine cart with thugge in it?
  24. Howabout a market stall with a cairo thug to go with the ambush in cairo set? or even a monkey man and motorcylce? these both could make great brickmaster sets. If I'm wrong at least tell me what set it would make such a great addition to.
  25. I was just thinking. Maybe the set could be based off the newindiana joens video game: indiana jones and the staff of kings? They could make an elephant chase set. Like in the pics below. They could use an elephant and a car with indy on the elphant and some badies in the car. For about $30 as an exclusive set.
