  1. In other words, done by Tinseltown. I much prefer the ones done by Ghost, as these just feel... comical. But it fits, I guess.
  2. I will take that weapon arm and use it on a MOC. Just to spite you guys. Stormer is my second fave of the heroes, behind Bulk. I think their smooth, V-shape torso are what bring me in compared to Stringer and the Rookies' top heavy T-shape torsos.
  3. The Legend Reborn style?
  4. The point wasn't to set off a direct example of what a Bionicle anime should look like; it's merely presenting the possibility that it could be done. I do agree that they look rather evil- but look at the way they're drawn: fluidly, as opposed to their usual blockiness in set form. I could easily see these guys in motion, whereas I can't do the same with the original sets. Are you implying that anime doesn't have fluid animation? I hope you're not one of those people who stereotype anime as "big eyes, squeaky voices, and moe-moe". You should know that TFA's animation was heavily inspired by the anime Diebuster. I've never seen Spectacular Spiderman, so I don't know about that one. I'd prefer something animated as opposed to CGI (mainly because the 4 movies' animation wasn't the highest, and CGI series are bound to be lower in quality due to each episode having a smaller budget). Templar's animations are, IMO, too goofy looking; while Ghost's are too realistic. On TV, none of these two would fit.
  5. I would kill for a Bionicle anime. Yes, anime, because we already have animations.
  6. What about those NHL hockey figures?
  7. Just want to say that I love the new header picture for this subforum. But does this mean that we will need to create a new review index?
  8. What could that possibly be on the poster?
  9. No Bulk?
  10. Buy some Struxx instead. Seriously awesome stuff.
  11. Boring RPG was never created, so.....
  12. I thought he was talking about non-US dollars from a different currency system.
  13. Nope. I remember last year's Legends being spotted around mid-to-late April. This is a special situation (new theme to replace a very famous one and all), so I'm guessing TLC is saving momentum and actually working to release on the exact due date as opposed to being early like the other themes. Also what Front said.
  14. It looks like TLC is taking their sweet time about releasing the sets. Tomorrow's going to be the first of June, and still nobody has even sited an HF set yet. Intentional or no?
  15. Can you specify exactly how long the ship is? (14 inches doesn't sound very accurate, I've heard someone say it was around 2 feet).
  16. To add on to that, there's some special-edition set named "Bulk and Vapour".
  17. Ah yes, I remember doing something like this back in 2006. Took quite a while, but it was fun to compare old and new sets. I destroyed all of them in 2007 though.
  18. Objective was to make a weird as heck bot. Started out as a Torch Slizer remake. Gallery (when public)
  19. But they're puny. Pretty much all system sets these days are smaller than Bionicle sets when they're in the same price range. The only one that didn't follow this rule was Exo-Force, but now that that's gone....
  20. Oh look, Makuta survived and is proceeding to pull a Chancellor Palpatine on his own city.
  21. You do see the tiny yellow specks getting out of the feet, right?
  22. I think I'll only be getting Bulk (best torso shape, as opposed to the other's top-heavy ones), Blaze Bike (Discounted to $20 o less), and possibly Meltdown (I'm really skeptical about the villains). Humanoid titans I've yet to decide.
  23. asdfgh misinterpreted the "took the beings in" part.
  24. ....did it just say that MN forced aliens into his body? So many questions.
  25. Rockoh looked pretty bulky at first too (but turned out to be really skeletal) and is the same size as this. We don't know for sure if the Drop Ship's build is skeletal or not at this point. But with that number of parts, one can only guess. But we're not comparing Bionicle to System here. It's Bionicle to Bionicle Hero Factory. None of these vehicles look like they have more expensive pieces than their Bionicle predecessors. IDK. Maybe Lego has some super-cool promos that cost a lot to pay for, and thus needed to inflate the price of their sets. Or maybe they're just pulling a Star Wars on us.
