Sounds good Z, I do like that dark red and black colorscheme! I think you could do some great stuff with this so I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I remember you Wolf Pack tower, lots of great Nocty potential there. Black can look awesome if you can get the photography right.

Makes sense it me. Nocty needed a reboot and hopefully it will be more involved this time round. Nocty was tempting but funny enough, I'm not really into the Darkside. Yes my island is called the 'Dark' isle but its not what I would call dark. I won't be building black towers surrounded by skulls, vampires and zombies. It's about how and what I like to build, which is a sort of gloomy, twisted Tim Burton style. That's my thing, not dark. Still it will be interesting to see how many Nocturnians try and create the a similar look. No need to worry, Nocturnus can boast all they wish but really they just want to be like Avalonia's Dark Isle, so the're still Avalonians at heart! Lol

I feel like Obe Wan in StarsWars, my great potential builders have turned to the Darkside!!! Lol Actually it's a good challenge and a challenge is what I need as it brings out the best. Anyway, you havn't taken all the talent from Avalonia! Last time I checked it appears that Avalonia is packing some serious builders ready to light this forum up! This guild is not a power house, it's a power mansion! Because of the loss of some builders to Nocturnus I can see it will definitely be an East vs West rivalry. @Mikey B, great pics, those troops and scenery are nicely done. Welcome Asulf! Plenty of fine taverns in the capital but if you be wanting something a bit more dangerous we could always just stroll into a Nocturnus tavern and drink all their mead and ale!

The Lost Lands Mythtopia Dumnonia(roman) Who knows, but it's not something I can see getting sorted anytime soon. Getting all the members to settle on a name won't be easy. It would have to be done by a poll. Every member lists a name and then everyone votes.

Indeed, the little round bump of the hinge adds another nice variety of texture. Maybe that will be LD's thing, making walls from handles and hinges. Don't worry Z as soon as this show is over I will crack on with my build. Not sure about the rest of NB and where they are with stuff.

Great build Niku, using white with the gray gives it a very regal impressive look. I like the huge doorway and the interesting figs too, more story coming I assume? I echo what BB said, if you have used white on areas like walls where they are next to the background then use a darker color for the background. Dark Gray or black, otherwise you won't know where the walls end and the background begins! Other than that minor point, this is a great interesting build with a refreshing color scheme. Ok guy's, here are the figs I have so far made. I'm still working on the Dragon Flight figs of which there are 30, just waiting for more plumes and finish making the capes. Standard Avalonian Spearmen These guys bare the Green Dragon shield of Avalonia and are well trained spearmen, oath bound to protect the good people of Avalonia. Standard Avalonian Axemen Again, they bare the shield of Avalonia and along with the spear men they form Avalonia's first guard of attack. Gawaine & his troop of Shadowmarsh Axemen Gawaine commands this band of deadly axemen who bare the Dark Isle emblem of the unicorn. Agile and brave, these axemen rain down the heavy steal with brute force. Taryn & his troop of Grim Hollow Spearmen This group of spearmen are garrisoned on the outskirts of Grim Hollow and under Taryn's command. Efficient and deadly, these light armored spearmen can travel swiftly with the element of surprise. Ella & the Caradoc Garrison Commanded by Ella and based at Caradoc Keep, these heavy armored spearmen are specially trained to fight in the shield wall, where their brute strength is used to hold off enemy advances. Dagonet & the Braedon Garrison Meaning 'from the dark valley' the Braedon garrison have the same roll as the Caradoc Garrison and together they form an impenetrable wall of spears and shields able to withstand any attack. The Druid Tanaburs & Sarlina Tanaburs is an ancient druid, a lone figure who is rarely seen but can always be counted on to make himself known if Avalonia is threatened. Sarlina is young and headstrong, her heart and soul dedicated and bound to Avalonia. Fueled by a stubborn rage and her ambition to change the land, she is armed with the scroll of the ancient ones and govern's immense power. Probably the most dangerous women in Historica! Artorious & The Flight Of Dragons ...Coming soon...ish..

As it stands, there is this big world with different continents. Our current GOH is set on the continent of Historica. Obviously LCC can then be said to be on another continent far across the sea. A large land mass is known as a continent, so Historica is indeed a continent but a world can have many continents. This also leaves things open for the future. As what if a future 'Book' was set on a new continent with 4 brand new guilds etc. Not that it will ever happen but it's nice to have the option if ever GOH need to be totally revamped. So yes, Historica is a continent in a as yet 'unnamed' world. So a name would be nice.

Well it must have been one of those Avalonian exiles who now live in Nocturnus Thanks Kabal, yes I do hope to be more active and enjoy building what I can and seeing what great stuff other people are doing. Have faith in the color scheme, I think something rather special is on its way

Interesting moc and thats a great attempt at a squirrel as that's exactly what I thought it was meant to be when I first looked. Nice landscape and good to see the swamp monster fig! They do look a little on the cute side (its the big eyes I think) but I bet he wields that fish with a deadly skill!

Great little scene! You have managed to fit a very nice landscape in that small space, and those hints of lime green work well. As for the use of cotton wool, some people can get funny about non- lego effects but I have never scene the problem with little things like this. I have often used small bits of cloth as extra's in my moc's and the use of cotton wool works well here. Nice work!
