Here is the updated version with new 4x1 slopes on the sides. It brings more flow, with a slightly concave shape on the sides.

Source ? I had the same thinking, and couldn't really figure out why it was that slow. When I look how 42215 gearbox is built, it seems pretty good. I mean, the model has complex mechanisms, but it is no crazy gearing. When a function is engaged, there are just a few red clutch gear rotating needlessly on other functions. This doesn't cause a lot of extra friction. Maybe the mechanism are needlessly strong (high torque), and it would be possible to trade some of that torque for speed.

I can't tell if the inside is build properly as the official set, but the final result certainly looks much better than the official model.

To motorise the hammer, the mechanism needs to go even further on the arm (beyond the coupler), which seems quite difficult to achieve. Such a mechanism would also be useful for one tool only (hammer) which is btw not considered as the main tool (bucket is the main tool in my mind). On the contrary, motorising the coupler is useful for both tools.

No modification on the inside. This is why it is a very simple modification any owner of 75275 should do. You also need some plate 1x3 in white, some plate 2x2 corner, and some plate 1x2. I plan to modify the SNOTed slope with slope 5654 so that the nose will be even more sharp.

Look at the rear of Boeing #10360, close your eyes slowly, and the nose of UCS A-Wing 75275 will suddenly appear. Such a simple yet effective modification ! Maintain the style of 75275, perfect flow on the sides, nice taper, and pointier nose. The parts needed for this modification are available for more than a year. The way the wings are tapered is very clever !

Since 2012 when I joined the program, I can't remember any offer that was split into 2 without warning, with half of the sets one day, and the other half of the sets like 3 days later. The only missing set I can recall is the 42113 drama. I can't remember a time I have been mislead by a package. With the email offer, the DHL notification including weight, the tracking number and finally the shape of the package when I see it, it has been literaly impossible to me not to know what was inside the package before opening it. Maybe I have X-ray eyes. :p

"I don't know what is inside". Typical instagram liar who try to create some fake surprise to its audience. When we receive a package, we know exactly what is inside as approx 3 weeks before we always get an email saying something like "We are going to ship to you sets #ref, #ref and #ref for review". We generally have no visual when we accept the review offer. But for non exclusive sets, the official visuals are generally revealed between the acceptance of the review and the delivery of the package. So when we open the package, we know exactly what products are in the package, and what they look like. When it comes to exclusive sets (Icons, or big Technic supercar, for example), it may happen that we discover the visual of the product by opening the package. But still, we are fully informed what ref is in the package.

Any example in recent sets ?

Very nice and clever build. I love it. I would be interested in seeing more of the techniques you used. The dark green circle in the middle, the internal structure of the building, or the various "cells" on the facades for example.

And AFAIK, the Designer of 42063 is Lars Thygesen. :) Nice work though. Very compact.
