I hesitated because I hoped someone would point it out, but then I just decided to say it anyways. -

OoC: The Brigand has SP 5. Just saying. -
I assure you, your dragons are safe in the House of the Undying Escher. Honestly, if anyone wants to make that a quest, they can help flesh-out Brendenton too. (You could call it Fall of the House of Escher!!! ) I have very few notes on all the factions in the city that didn't play an important part in my quest, and I only have a few unfinished plans. It should be noted though, that until the conclusion of this Quest, Brendenton has not really cared for foreign mercenaries. That may change when the factions notice the actions of the Heroes. I also have no plans for earnable reputations as-per the Houses of Eubric. If someone wants to run a Quest with the Eschers, they could be colleagues, friends, or even distant relatives of the Zeigfrieds. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph eyed Alex calmly. Had he not been visited by the voice, or was he simply not expressing having heard it? Sylph returned to waiting for the Mythrogg to reply. -
As the self-proclaimed resident Poe-referencer, I volunteer! Although it may be a consumable doom applier. I call dibs anyways. Not to give anything away, but two Noble Houses in Brendenton that may feature in later Quests are styled after the two characters in that short story... Which is actually why I brought it up in the first place. It was on my mind. Also the Mage-Guild's Head is the Escher Family, and belonging to the House of Escher means you are a respectable Mage in Brendenton. Not only a Poe reference, but hey, the more you know. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Spelljammer had allot of fun things. I can't wait for Lego to make Neogi. Gods I love the Neogi. Nothing says fantasy space than a space-faring slaving eel-headed spider with a backwards and barbaric life-cycle that rides giant insect-people. Mother-megablocking Neogi. On the subject of Races and strange DnD products from the 80s, I think Heroica's race selection is actually smaller than DnD's at this point. Talk about your high quantity of fantasy races there. They give Star Wars a run for its money. Oh most definitely! A veritable Cask of Amontillado to be sure! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph retreated a bit, his figure taking on an apologetic demeanor. "He's gone now, then. He won't be back soon." stated Sylph, relief and tiredness in his voice. "It's over for now." Having read through the spells chapter of Regrets' work, he handed the immense tome to Alex, glancing into the Paladins eyes for a brief moment to reassure himself that giving Alex the tome was the right thing to do. He then looked down at the loot, realizing that the Party had obtained all 4 of the sword shards. Addressing the behemoth before him, he spoke. "Mythrogg, what exactly does the sword do?" He queried. "And now that Regret's hateful taint has been cleansed for the time-being, would you mind repairing it if you can? It could serve as a valuable tool for good." Sylph waited to receive an answer before handing out the rest of the loot, knowing that the sword was likely the most powerful item in the treasures they had obtained.... Except maybe the Tome in the right hands... -

Exactly, you don't see many non-humans or non-wereravens in Brendenton, do you? Well, there was that one Orc and a few goblins, but apart from that. The Sharkling coming-up is not really a native of Brendenton. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph, who had been eyeing the party to gauge their reactions upon hearing the mad Progg's final words noted Galen's peculiar response to the mental intrusion. Fascinating. He thought, spying Galen's sudden reaction. "Is everyone OK?" Demanded Sylph at his party. "I doubt any of us are weak-willed, but apparitions have been known to be able to manipulate the bodies of the living...." He stated, but it was more of a question than a statement. "It would be a tragedy if he managed to return so soon... Or to plant a seed in another." -
Perhaps he doesn't realize it until afterwards and then demands for his money back. ~Insectoid Aristicrat

Don't worry! Take your time. I couldn't start the Confrontation with Fleur tonight if I wanted to. I'll let Amorith and Dreyrugr at-least speak-up before I run the round. -

"At this point, it bothers me little," sighed the Druid.. "Despite your unnatural birth, I believe I've found that a creature can become more Natural through extended exposure to Nature, and pure thought." Sylph stood content for a moment, and then appeared to double over in pain, grasping his helmed head. "Gggrrrrah!" He growled. "The fiend seems to be tormenting us all. He groaned and then gingerly returned to his calm posture. "I can never speak of what he just told me." The Druid stated gravely, a melancholy foreboding in his voice...
