    Heh, sorry. I thought there was something off about the face, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I've never taken a drawing class, so I don't really consider myself an artist. I'd love to learn, but for now I'm a definite amateur. Also, I've never drawn a woman's face at that angle before. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

    To be fair, this is the first time Sylph's ever refused a chance for XP and loot, and unless we have to fight a reasonable mother leopard that agrees to let us go or something latter on, it will likely be his last. If the Spider had said, "No, my Young must feed on your flesh." instead of "Go now!", Sylph would have had no qualms with killing it in Self defense. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

The spiders will ensure that evil will never again get a threshold here. Also," Sylph added as an aside "Spider young tend to eat each other until only the strong survive, so I don't think the quantity spawned necessarily means that's the number that will inhabit this dungeon."

    If you guys do want to fight the spider that's fine with me, but Sylph won't join in the fight at first, and after a few rounds, he'll begrudgingly join you and once the spider is dead he'll plot your individual demises but otherwise remain helpful. Perhaps with this Spider cleaning up the Sewers, we'll see fewer criminals, monstrous undeads, and unnatural abominations." Stated Sylph plainly. "Which part of your beloved society comes into these Sewers, Monk? The righteous or those who have something to hide? Someone use a smoke bomb and let's be on our way."

    OoC: Can we go without expending a smokebomb? Sylph bowed to the spider and turned, beckoning the party to leave before him, with him taking up the rear in-case the spider did not keep her side of the bargain.

    Just to clarify, in my experience sometimes a framer switches alignment results (Ie: Scum to Town). That doesn't matter very much in this case though, because A. We don't know if there is one (and there usually isn't in my experience), and B. There's no reason for an investigator to check-out Sheridan as the result they'll get is pre-established. On the subject of "ways to figure out if Sheridan's lying apart from actual behavior analysis" (which is, after-all, our best method of finding the scum, considering PRs should not trust anyone until a while into the game.) Role-cop is usually a scum role, and I doubt we have one. (That said, stranger things have happened on first games... ). Thusfar, I'm not ready to vote for anyone. However, just going from my thoughts when reading this thread, Micheal's roleplay has indeed stuck-out to me as odd... particularly considering his non-existent defense when confronted with a simple accusation. In my opinion a Towny should speak-up for him/herself and defend their actions with something better than "incompetence." Saying that you were simply roleplaying is valid, but you should be doing more than roleplaying, even on the first day. This first day in particular, since Sheridan provided us with a great opportunity to focus on behavior/opinions right-off the bat instead of wasting our time roleplaying.... And speaking of roleplaying, Sheridan, that accent is more than a little annoying. Would you mind enunciating, like, a bit more clearly?

    Well, I was just stating my honest opinions on the matter along with everyone else. I read Sheridan's post and tried to analyze it and couldn't see why a scum would make such a bold move, and posted my thoughts. It's how I think.
