Nice one Doc, this would've been original if only you didn't broadcast this idea of yours before! But still, it's funny and a great shot! BTW, is that a Belville hair-drier?

Welcome to the forums KingDom! Now that's the spirit! Keep the Lego passion even with relatively low resources, as there's always light at the end of the tunnel, so hang on in there buddy. For the meantime, enjoy the site!

Yeah I know, I just couldn't bring myself to do cheerleading chants. Anyway, I see someone has changed his/her vote and sided with Jammie now. Now who could that be?

Characters from FINAL FANTASY LEGO: Crystal Hearts

Those are very well made purist customs Sandy, I love 'em! And fantastic job on the photo editing, extremely well done! -
Thanks for the bump, I would've missed seeing this wonderful BTTF Time Machine if not for that. As always, your knack for accurate greebling details is very evident on this MOC. I also love your alternative approach on the windscreen/roof design. Excellent work once again!

Lovely! Great choice for the vibrant color scheme, and the overall design and details are very accurate based on the reference pics. But what makes this even a greater build is the skewed positioning of the structure on the base - very unique, accurate, and well executed. Impressive job Hoexbroe!
-
That's a very nice micro-scale creation Mariko! The lighthouse is spot-on and the rock formations and water are very well executed in micro build. Great job!
-
Simply an amazing work-of-art! Just plain beautiful throughout. Everything seems perfect from the Japanese architecture and all the small details you've put in there. Congratulations on this yet wonderful creation alan!

First it was the Ghost Trap, and now this? Another excellent Ghostbusters creation Maegnus! Simply stunning with all the very accurate details of the Ecto-1. Very effective use of chrome pieces and stickers, even to the point of bending that chrome pole piece. Truly an impressive MOC!

Somehow, some way, the graininess of the photos are very effective for this presentation. I love the story and how you built that mind-seeding contraption. Well done Alopex!

Juts pure genius using those flipper pieces for the roof! The rough texturing throughout the build (walls, roof, wooden floors, ground) is amazingly done. Lots of impressive details too cleverly using unconventional pieces (icicles, dripping snow, candle w/ holder). Simply an impressive work on this masterpiece SlyOwl!

Wow, what a stunningly beautiful creation Mark! So much details and quite ingenious game design. Looks really fun to play with. Impressive work!

This is quite a good MOC KingDom, but a little too colorful with some of the pieces. I hope to see you improve this once you get the proper-colored parts, preferably more grey colors. And additional details and floor tiling too. But why are the pilots resting with their helmets on?
-
Now I would certainly look forward to that.

Wow, this is an outstanding LDD MOC Gunner! I agree one of the best I've seen. The overall shape and design is very accurate, and the wing functionality and opening interiors are very well done. Too bad, it can't be done with regular-colored Lego parts (or can it? ). BTW, welcome to the forums and hope to see some more LDD stuff from you!

Yeah I read that last statement crystal clear. And I completely respect your opinion, ever since. It's just sometimes, making snide remarks on CW/CW faces everytime you have the chance is just getting a bit 'tiring' to read. (I echo Penitent Tangent's sentiments on this.) I don't even like most of the CW faces myself, and even if I myself make fun of them some times, I don't fail to appreciate some who are well done. So I couldn't just accept others saying the Bib Fortuna fig is better than the Aayla fig. But that's just me and my humble opinion. I just hope we tone down on the overplayed and unoriginal CW comments. Maybe a better way is to put some effort and make fun of the CW in a SW funny shot like what Clone O' Patra does? We could then blame Cloney's fellow Fellow who had that brilliant idea.

Nice try Stardusty, but as you said the photo is too dark to recognize anything, except to safely assume that that thing is an AT-XT delivering gifts based on your description.
-
Nice dark shot Jammie, I think you achieved the 'warm feel' of the whole entry brought about by the lighted fireplace that you were intending to do. I can recognize the elements there, but I unerstand how tough it is to capture a vivid shot in a dimly-lighted setting. Anyway, good luck in the contest!

First off, Happy New Year to all my fellow LDD enthusiasts! I have to admit 2010 has really been an eye-opener for me with regards to digital designing. In the beginning I wasn't really a believer of LDD, but when I discovered the LU mode, my views have completely made a 180 degree turn. Ever since I've been what you can call an LDD convert, and extremely proud of it. So I thank the LDD staff and experts here for welcoming me to this wonderful subforum. And a contest? Nice! Count me in! It's always fun joining contests. Cheers for a prosperous new year of LDDing to all of us! ~ Kiel

Yup that's definitely Cody in the prelims, no doubt about it. But I do have mixed views of him being there in the final version or not. Putting him in that set makes sense following Rex's release in the small Battle for Geonosis set, and he did appear in the Geonosis story arc in the CW series, and this will be the perfect chance for others to get Cody who missed the RGS set. On the other hand, I would also love to see another clone commander, like Jet, who is Ki-Adi's troop commander in that Geonosis episode. But between the two scenarios, Cody staying in the set is more likely to happen than introducing a new clone.

It would be really great for the AFOL collectors if TLG pushes with this new trend of packing the instructions. Damaged and folded instruction manuals were always unsightly views when opening a freshly-purchased Lego set, and I'm happy that TLG is finding ways to improve its products' packaging. Even if they will be just starting this test-run in the large and exclusive sets. I hope these will also find its way into other sized sets as well. I hope to have this new instructions packaging in a set in the near future.
