  1. Thanks! Yes, I used the head / hair combo on my previous MOC Hyperion. The Hair piece is indeed the official TLG piece which came with the Olympic archer. I got the entire figure (solo) on Aliexpress.
  2. I was going to ask a question about the 11.11 sale, is it for every item? Do you need to register to get the promotion? It didn't seem that clear to me. thanks!
  3. Here you go: EDIT: It's always a good perspective seeing the fig in "3rd person" -- I'm going to swap out the red hips for yellow hips...
  4. The real question is why the Flickr app still doesn't have messaging? I mean it's 2015 right?
  5. Yup, fully agree. In fact, I just received my Hyperion by Dargo, and I must admit, I was very pleasantly surprised. The printing was nearly clean (99%) with only some small touch ups which were a breeze for me. The head and hair were useless but I always had TLG set ready to go from my MOC Hyperion -- I'll post a pic later.
  6. The 2012 and 2014 were the same mold, but AoU Hulk was different (look at the hair, neck line) Hulk World [VARIANTS] [GROUP] [COMICS] [CUSTOM] by agoodfella minifigs, on Flickr
  7. Both of these look fantastic!!
  8. While I can't speak for others, I'm fairly confident that very few people in this thread condone stealing other people's work / designs / artwork. What happened in the case you referred is absolutely horrible. Fact is, I have also had plenty of my MOC ideas used for profit (without any notice, credit or permission). Again, the purpose of my contributions has always been to "share" first and foremost with the EB/Flickr community and beyond, but there will always be those who seek to abuse the system for profit / ill gotten gains (it's a very small minority mind you -- but those scumbags are out there). Now has this given me pause about sharing some of my ideas so freely in the future? Absolutely it has. And its a darn shame because everyone loses due to a few bad apples. The best we can do is call out these bad apples, but in the end, that's life -- life has scumbags -- and that happens outside the circle of this thread so I don't think it's that helpful to get sidetracked on this discussion as it has been discussed ad nauseum. If you do feel that strongly about it, I would suggest you create a separate topic for it. Having said that I don't buy the argument that this takes away from the appeal or the bottom line at TLG. On the contrary, I have always argued that this brings greater overall "awareness" of the real thing and that people will ultimately aspire to purchase the genuine article at some stage. Those who stick to buying only bootlegs would not have received TLG's business anyway, and in fact, I contend that over time, there will be far more bootleg buyers that convert to TLG buyers at some point -- so in the end, ironically, the pie gets bigger not smaller for TLG. Furthermore, as many others have also rightly noted, we don't make these products, purchasing these products is not illegal, and further, trying to censor discussions about these products will have zero impact, so what you end up doing is simply censoring free speech, which is the worst possible outcome -- and that is indeed something I (and frankly everyone should) feel very strongly about. There is nothing wrong in discussing this topic freely among community members. If you don't like the topic, simply don't participate. If you want to discuss why this topic is bad, create one dedicated to discussing it. In sum, as you rightly noted, this side-topic has been discussed 1000 times over and is a horse that doesn't need to be beaten again on this thread. Plenty of other places to discuss it -- and I encourage you to do so -- just not on this topic please.
  9. Oh wow, Cap scale armor finally!! And Bleeding Edge looks amazing!! Man, I wish TLG would do some justice to these relatively nuanced (to non-Comic fans) but important design upgrades...
  10. Hello folks, why don't we get back to discussing Bootlegs now, shall we :) Thanks!
  11. I can vouch for Wade1Wilson. The helmet posted earlier clearly looked like it was custom molded. In his description he detailed how he created a custom mold for it and he never claimed that he hand sculpted the thing 100%.
  12. That Ultron helmet looks really interesting -- some day we'll get some non-Potato quality pics of these pre-releases...
  13. Oh wow, where is this from? Love it!
  14. This is a better look (a collection of leaked pics from what looks like a Japanese / Asian source):
  15. +1 That leaked pic of Cap from the Red Skull set was really disappointing. Aside from the slight variation to the head, appears that everything else is the same from the Avengers Assemble Cap -- still no arm or leg printing either...
  16. Welcome Hero Bricks! I'm a big fan of your flickr stream.
  17. Fantastic looking fig. Loving the overmolded boots...
  18. Man, that's pretty much the price of a set though right?
  19. Ok... Keep calm, no need to get worked up over this!
  20. I was always curious about this MOD -- do you need to make any modifications to the torso holes in order to accommodate the hose? i.e. is it secure?
