  1. Lol, carrying LEGO and walking downstairs does not mix. Spent all day building a LEGO space station once when I was younger. Carried it down the stairs to show my mom and I tripped. Fell. Landed. Cried. And died. I was fine, but my LEGO station looked like somebody ate it and puked it back out... :'-(
  2. I whole heartedly agree with you Mr.KMOI. Avatar is a sweet show that I can't get enough of! I'm tempted to make some fake Avatar sets for the future, but I doubt that I will get much response due to the apparent lack of intrest for Avatar. *n* KMOI you mentioned the vast amount of LEGO sets that could still be produced, you are defintly correct! Imagine the tank from the episode -"The Chase" or any of the Earth kingdom castles -the possibilities are endless! I think LEGO is losing out by not ordering more of these sets, despite most FOL reactions.
  3. I think Avatar is a great show, it has lots of drama for a kid's show, and it has some pretty sweet fight scenes. *y* I heard that Nick doesn't like anime, and that's why the Avatar show and LEGO sets are delayed and unadvertised. The producers of Avatar went against Nick to make an anime influenced show, so I'm sure there is some bias against the show here. And maybe Nick cancelled Avatar's LEGO license, it's a sad prospect really. The sets weren't awesome, but they were good piece wise and the soldier minifigures rocked. And there's plenty of other possible sets that could be produced.
  4. Thanks for the replies! exo attack wrote: The dropship is finished, but I need to make an EF mech or something to go with it first. ;-) iamded wrote: Wow thanks! I have admit that I don't really like the GC dude either, but if I had Hikaru he'd be in the set instead of the GC dude. Oh well, I still like the set. *y*
  5. If you mean regular members then I think there is (at the time of this post) 1276 members registered to Eurobricks. Edit: Lol Shine you beat me to it!
  6. Congrats Eurobricks! This new sub forum was a good idea.
  7. Thanks for the replies everyone! I guess I should explain the Robot mech in this set. Originally, I had this awesome dropship built for this set, but I thought it looked too big in comparison with the rest of the set. So I decided to put t in a seperate set. I also had other plans for a differen't mech, but I just wanted to post this set after such a long time. ;-) Zaktan of the Shadows wrote: Thanks. BTW, what does KUTGW stand for lol? Darth Bionics wrote: Well, the only exo-force sets I have are: Grand Titan, Uplink, Sentry, Gate Assualt, and Claw Crusher, and I pretty much use mostly the figures and stickers from those sets. Some of the dark red from Gate assualt was used in the buildings of the GC. And lot's of mech peices from my other sets went into the GCI mech. KhoRne wrote: Well I don't have a lot of gold LEGO, so I used what I had. I suppose using yellow would have worked too though. Personally I liked the figure in person, but I see what you mean -the red and blue do clash. If I had Hikaru, then he'd replace the GC soldier, but I don't. But using a robot instead would have been a good idea. *y* Brainbox wrote: Lol thanks! :-D Mr. Mandalorian wrote: Wow thanks. JoeMI6 wrote: Thanks! I like to put some things into my sets that I wish TLC would do sometime. ;-) Asuka wrote: Thanks! Grevious wrote: Thank you! I'm sorry about the Robot mech though, I'll have to make up for that in the next set. I used the GIMP for all my special effects and such. The system isn't as good as photoshop, but it still des a pretty good job. ;-) exo attack wrote: Hehe, thank you. I don't know if priates will be my next theme, but we'll soon see. *y* PS: My quotes aren't working for some reason. I don't know what I did wrong...did I exceed the post memory size or something? 8-|
  8. Vehicles From left to right: Monorail car, GCI mech (Golden City Infantry), Duel Chaser hover bike. Golden City Infantry Mech (GCI) This mech is a small, but it's pretty powerfull. The GCI mechs usually travel in squads to fight the enemy with support. They are normally piloted by GC pilots, but because I needed a hero in this set, I put Takeshi in the driving seat. Click the above pic to see the interior and read more info on the GCI mech. Duel Chaser This bike is cool, but just wait until you see the drop ship that will be inconjuction with this set later on. Monorail Car Hehe, not much to say on this, just that it is usefull for carrying ammo and it travels on the rail found in module 3. City Combinations As you can see, the 3 modules can all be combined and connected in differen't ways. This might actually be a fun set to play with if it was real. Misc And that's it for this set. I hope you enjoyed it. And I think I have one last set to show you guys then I'm done my Exo-Force Campagin. Maybe I'll make Pirates next, who knows. ;-) Golden City Brick shelf Gallery The Whole EF Gallery My BrickShelf Folder Your comments and critique are appreciated! Thanks!
  9. Module 2 Also called the command Module, this tower is the main part of this set: Here is the main tower all together. Click Here to see the tower seperated. I really like this picture here, it basically shows everything inside the command Module. Prison Pod Click the pic above to see the simple prison pod. I really like its design. Module 3 Module 3 contains a missle turret, monorail, and a tower. Like the other 2 modules, this tower's roof is removable. The monorail can also connect to either of the other two modules. The other two pics above are just the Module 3 seperated, and the two roof variations. Next post will be my last, and it will contain the vehicles and misc pictures.
  10. Hey guys, The newest set of my custom Exo-Force theme is finally finished! You can also check out the first two sets here. Notes: Before you read the review below, I hope you read this first. Because I need to explain a few things. All of the Golden City invasion buildings have interchangable roofs that can be removed and placed on any of the three buildings. I call each of the three buildings modules, and all three can connect with eachother in different ways. You will also notice numbers on most of the pictures, all they do is help organise my Brick Shelf folder a little better, example, all pics with a 1 on them correspond to Module 1, and so on. And one more thing, if I say GC, it is short for Golden city. Now then, onto the set. As usual, here's a fake LEGO set version: I would advise resizing the fake box art pic above, other wise it looks disorted which is not cool. *n* Here is the whole city minus two vehicles. And here is the figures (7). Left to right: Takeshi, Unamed GC (Golden City) soldier, three generic GC soldiers, Devastator, and an Iron Drone. These are all the building modules seperated. Note, they all can connect in different ways. That's why I call them modules. Module 1 This is the first Module, it consists of an armoury, removable roof mounted turret, switching wall, and a cargo hold. The two pics above are the interior of module 1 and two different roof variations. And for some wierd reason, every time I make this post longer, it refreshes and I lose everything. So I'm going to post the next 2 modules in 2 seperate posts.
  11. Apologies for my long absence, (well I haven't really been away, I just haven't had the time to work on the next MOC) but I have a teaser for you guys... Claw Crusher won't be in the Golden city set, but I wanted to show it in comparison to the Golden City light infantry mech. As of now I'm finishing off the pictures of the new set (Golden City Invasion), and it will be done soon, and I hope to get it done by the end of this week.
  12. Whoa, no one seems to like the HB that much. I personally think it's cool for the price and I think the picture doesn't contain all of the set. Also, someone mentioned earlier that the white K-3Po droid was supposed to be in the set, and the set shown doesn't look like it has 500 some pieces (to me that is). So maybe part of the base isn't being shown? Maybe that tripy control room from the movie, along with K-3P0) and maybe a weapon's rack or something is not being shown. I'm just being hopeful though...and that Republic ship looks sweet! I hope it can hold all the figs and have a great interior! Hope on!
  13. I agree with everything blueandwhite said. I may be biased because I also live in Canada but... I don't see why the Europeans are complaining, LEGO is extremly expensive here too, compared to the USA anyway. But I always thought Euro prices were lower than Canada's, and isn't it still possible that the prices may go down for Europe/UK? *y* Meh, in any case, normal LEGO prices are pretty much expensive anywhere. ;-)

I'm not the biggest EF fan, but it is fun to build in differen't themes from time to time. :-) Thanks to every one else for your comments. :-)
  15. pianodude2494 wrote: Thanks! kimt wrote: Merci. ;-) I'm thinking about my next set to make now. I'm going to try and put in some new EF soldiers, and possibly have a battle scene in the Golden city. All I need now though is Hikaru, and at least one Devastator. *n* Or I'll just make a set with out them. ;-)
  16. Thanks for the replies! EXO-CHAMP wrote: Hmm, I didn't know there have been previous ones. Guess I'll have to surf Brickshelf and see if I can find some. *y* exo attack wrote: Well, if I had a Hikaru figure I'd put him in the set instead. ;-) Kahgarak wrote: Lol thanks! Grevious wrote: Hey thanks! I also hope that TLC will make an Iron Drone base, and some new generic EF soldiers. *y* Capn Kirk 911 wrote: Lol, so do I. :-D dillthepill worte: The box isn't real, so you should be able to guess how I "made" it. ;-) Zaktan of the Shadows wrote: You never know, maybe TLC will produce some real sets similar to this one. idontknow877 wrote: Thanks, but just wait to EF year 3. Hopefully we'll have some cool official sets by then. Cyclone Titan wrote: Hehe, thanks. :-) Asuka wrote:
  17. Hey guys, The newest set of my custom Exo-Force theme is finally finished! You can also check out the other two sets here. As usual, here's a fake LEGO set version: This set comes with 7 minifigures in total. This here is the generic Recon Walker. These mechs are like Iron Drone Sentries -there's a lot of them. ;-) This is a Drone Defender -these guys are found gaurding bases on the Robot side of the mountain. Check out the Defender's landing pad. The Base As you can see, the base is connected by technic tubes. Check out the sliding doors! Here's a animated pic of the doors when they slide open and close. This is the interior of the left wall and the main tower. The prison pod Ha-ya-to is in can fit inside a holding place on the left wall. And the gun rack to the right of the Drone can be stored in the main tower or used as a turret. A close-up of the prison pod The prison pod inside the left wall. Behold the light brick! The light brick zaps Ha-ya-to! Let's hope its just a scanning ray. The Main tower interior The chain gun turret The right wall. Hmm, an interogation room. Poor Ha-ya-to Base Alternates The base can be rearranged several times for more fun. Turret alternate Acessories. Just for fun Hope you all enjoyed the set! Comments are appreciated! Also if you any ideas for more sets feel free to let me know!
  18. Thanks for the comments guys! I have finished building my next Moc, and all I need to do now is take pictures. It's a Iron drone base verse an orange mech piloted by the black haired generic soldier dude. Ha-ya-to also appears in this set, with one of those blaster rifles from the Sentai fortress set. I don't own the fortress, so I kind of guessed at the gun's design, but it looks pretty sweet IMO.
  19. Capn Kirk 911 wrote: Thanks! Here's the redesigned wings and tail of the Hail Storm jet: I think it looks better with the engines closer to the body, do you?
  20. xenologer wrote: Hmm, you make some very good points. And i think with some heavy modifications to suit your standards, this jet could turn out pretty sweet! I may rebuild these areas and post pics of what the jet looks like. Hail Storm Jet Fighter 2. ;-)
  21. Hey guys, thanks for the replies! Asuka wrote: Thanks for the ideas! You're right, the cone and bush would work pretty good. But the cone doesn't fit on the mech's arms though. :-/ xenologer wrote: You're right, and I think a few viking spikes would look good on the wings and shoulders. *y* Most of the dark green pieces were from Creator set 4894 - Mythical creatures. I have instructions for the Bridge Wasp in my Brick Shelf folder. Please note this is my first time making instructions so they may be a bit -noobish. :-P Click here
  22. JoeMI6 wrote: Thanks! And about Ryo's bike though, it's only meant for scouting but I suppose he could use more than a katana for weapons. ;-) exo attack wrote: Not that soon, I'm hoping on buying some more EXO-FORCE sets first.
  23. Thanks for the comments! dillthepill wrote: I'm glad you noticed that they were flick fire missles. They actually fly pretty far too. *y* It's more like a recon bike. Besides, Ryo's got a Katana to defend himelf. ;-) jeffrey wrote: I'll have to buy one -I'm waiting for the new sets to come to my local LEGO store. ;-) exo attack wrote: I might post some of the Bridge Wasp. But the Hail Storm is pretty big and complicated -I'll see what I can do though. Yep. *y* Kahgarak wrote: Thanks! looks like I'd better start making instructions. ;-) EXO-CHAMP wrote: Yeah, that's why I photoshopped some construction lines on the Hail Storm jet. *y* Hmm, I'm not sure what I could do, any ideas?
  24. Hey guys, thought I'd try some EXO mocs for a change. ;-) The first set is: The Hail Storm FighterJet. 29.99 American or 44.99 Canadian. A fake LEGO set version of this set. The 3 figures included in this make believe set. A main view of the jet. A back view. CLICK HERE to see the pieces you can seperate from the jet to axcess the inside. The cockpit. CLICK HERE to see the interior -note the hidden missile launchers. CLICK HERE! to see how the robot is captured and placed inside the cargo hold This is Ryo's little hover recon bike. The Brickshelf Gallery The second set: The Bridge Wasp. American 7.99 or 9.99 Canadian. A fake LEGO set version of this set. The Wasp from the front. CLICK HERE for the side view. CLICK HERE for the back view. This is the Wasp with the wings down -which I like. And the drone and his mech. The Brickshelf Gallery Notes: I really like the Bridge Wasp, it could look good flying with the Iron Condor, and it has some fire power to boot. The construction lines symbolize the markings of a wasp -hence it's name the Bridge Wasp. ;-) The Hail Storm jet isn't very EXO force-y in IMO, but I thought it would be a ncie change to see a non-mech in this theme for once. *y* Well, I hope you like them. Comments are appreciated. :-) The whole EXO-FORCE Gallery.
  25. It would be nice though... *sweet* What about some of those creator buckets though? Some of them came with figs... 8-|
