1989 BSB & 2009 cannon battle

Other 4d Inspired by Wacky-Races and Soapbox Race. Big gun mounted on a flimsy wooden cart. The relatively flat trajectory of the normal cannon make it unsuitable for shooting uphill. Raising the angle does make it lose some range, but the spectacular high-angle flight of the projectile is worth it. Unfortunately the accuracy varies widely due to the human fingers, a less perfect release method would affect the range. It does shoot 80cm to 130cm far. Turret turns a little left/right. Powered by human hand.

I don't have it too, only got my first battle droid last year from the small carrier+stap-t battlepack. Not a fan of the droid army.

The night before going to buy this, my brain was too active with thoughts to fall asleep. It is now around 36hours since I woke up. What a long active day. Since weeks ago I had this plan to give the Mine Mech big weapon arms, built them with the parts and colour scheme of the 4795. most importantly the hinges were from that set. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4795-1 Less than 10 minutes after finish building the Mine-Mech Ive tried the big weapon arms on, changed some design, and was satisfied with the final result. I had to drop the idea of ammo crate and breach for the orange howitzer due to space constrain. During the photoshoot, the ammo belt keep on falling because its stubborn to the slight "twisting force". After uploading on the computer, the dark grey and dark blueish grey seem to be messed up, I think my camera is having difficulty picking up that colour in that light condition. When I was younger I watched the Starship Troopers: Roughnecks on TV, those walker robots were very cool but I was too young then to understand the storyline. This "moc" (I kept the cockpit and legs of the official build so its not a true MOC) have various inspiration from other Gundam, namely the grapple hook, folding vibroblade & beam pistol combo, cone shaped reactor, box shaped thrusters, multiple minigun on 1 arm. Arms down. highly poseable ball joint legs & arms showing you the miniguns flip out sword for melee cool looking stance extended slice left shoulder shoulder cannon up power reactor & thrusters thrusters flip up defending the airspace stompin the rocky ball joint balance *edit* Missed out 2 pics.

There are people who wear gloves while playing with their toys. So what similar steps do you take to keep your precious plastic from harm ? Lets start with me, I don't exhaust my moist breath into my glass display cabinet. (holding my breath) I don't open the cabinet and play when my hair or hands are wet. What about you ?

The postman(women) came today while nobody's home. My mother will get it from the post office for me after work on Saturday or Monday.

I have the winch block piece from the coast guard helicopter set, didn't build it into the set, used the space for more seats instead. The only thing good about that piece is it's compact size. The wedge pieces on the blades of this cargo helicopter really gives it a cool looking illusion as if its turning fast and slicing through the air from the top view down. Does a minifig fit in the cargo helicopter cockpit ? It seem to block the minifig shoulders from going in, suffering same fate as 7470 which looks like a minifig could fit in but the fact is otherwise. http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=7470-1 Good review.

I don't have alcohol so If I just use tape + glue stick would it work ? For my method I just use my thumb to rub it till the stubborn residue is left and spray a little of that on, leave it couple minutes and repeat once more before washing it under the tap. For small rubber wheels that degraded and have a sticky oily substance on the outer surface, I put them into a plastic bag of slightly diluted dishwashing liquid and wd40 spray for a few hours, repeat 1-2 more times with new plastic bag & dishwashing liquid without wd40 and rinse with water. The sticky oil is gone but theres is a weird smell. Anybody else had a problem with this too ?

Great info there. Will try your method in removing those nasty sticker residue next time I find them, almost all my lego are currently sticker-free. Previously I used this

Its unfair to compare both games as their overall gameplay are different, SWBF2 isn't all just about the campaign mode.

I think you meant this piece ? in light blueish grey ? My extra parts are still quite limited so I don't have this piece, but its okay as I don't use the rear ramp much. Thanks for the idea.

If you count in the protruding mudguards and hinges on both sides and the fact that it can't fit in a 6-stud door, it's 7-stud-wide.

I have that problem too. If the red triangle plate was 1 stud up, it would block the cabin door from opening bigger. If its at current configuration, it would only open to horizontal, can't touch the ground.

Me too, I thought it would fall out of his hands while swooshing, but it didn't happen.
