Friction - Logan Central on Wembley road, they always seem to have something on clearance down there, since getting back into lego I try to make a visit to that store each payday as there is generally something there I want. The big farm set that is usually $99 was marked down to $80 they had a bunch of that I left a about 8 tractors there but i did clear out the last of those hoth sets. Big W at Browns Plains had the pig farm for about $48 I think there were about 10 of them there around lunctime. There is also a leasson to be learnt here I went back to kmart to buy a belt in the afternoon and decided to recheck the lego section The Creator firetruck that had a $50 tag under it, I grabbed one and took it to the scanner to be sure, beep and it comes up at $35!! They also had a city helicopter transport set with $48 sticker on it scanned and woot $23!! Moral of the story even though it has a price on it, scan it cause you might pick up a nice surprise!!

Went for a shop this morning Starwars sets were marked at $25 but scanned at $17, the tractors were marked at $11 and scanned at $7 so that was the Kmart run at Logan, they also had the creator firetruck marked at $50 have one already so passed and they also had the new starwars sets and board games, bit pricey though so will wait for next %off sale me thinks Then went to Target to see what was left, man the store was gutted and I dont think they are going to do much restocking at the moment, they did have the new starwars sets but for $150 for the new slave1 they can keep it Anyways picked up the Train station for $60, the Racers for $14 and the impulse sets for $4each All in all a good shop

Went to local toyworld and put on layby passenger train and train station, while i was there I asked the lady about a previous catalogue where if you purchased a toy story set you got a promo set with the green alien She said yeah they still had some and people were forgetting to give them out so she had a few, she then asked how many kids i have , i said 4 so she gave me 4 sets for free!! They also have a $10 voucher if you layby more than $200 of lego in one hit, so i said she can keep the voucher if i could get some more of the promo sets, she says sure how many would you like, not wanting to sound greedy I said whatever you fell comfortable giving me, so she gave me another 4 sets!! WOO and HOO

Picked up a few sets at target this morning Store was still a mess from the day before, for a huge toysale they sure didnt have much lego

Big W at brownsplains in Brissie still has 2 galactic enforcers left

I picked up that wind turbine set and a galactic enforcer and the midi falcon and the other space police set, some real bargains, when I was there there was a lady trying to find some cheap lego for her sons so I gave her one of the wind turbine sets I had, she said it was too expensive and I just smiled and said go scan it :) She came back with a big grin on her face and her kids were chuffed

I bet when I get to BigW tomorrow they wont have any left and they will show up on ebay I want an enforcer, anyone in brissy see one, can msg me??? Oh and I meant to ask this the other day, is there a Brisbane Lug anywhere??

Got the toyworld cat yesterday, free toy story green alien promo set with purchase of select 3 toy story sets Problem is prices of those sets are ridiculous when compared to other places sale prices

Maybe they sorted it out by then I was there at 9 and the lady behind the counter in the hat wasnt letting anyone layby, she was arguing with a customer about it too, on the way out i saw signs saying layby now for xmas so i guess the lady serving ppl just made a mistake

At least they were letting you put stuff on Layby People were asking for it at Loganholme this morning and they were flat out told No Laybys

Got me an Imperial flagship and a couple of space police sets as well Myer I went to, had about 6 of the flagships on the floor and Fire stations only a couple of the train sets

Target had the smaller ships for $12 down from $17 and the larger ship for $43 down from $59 Toyworld had the minifigs but they were $4 a hit

I'm going on a lego/toy run today with some friends, here's hoping we spot a bargain or two

If you have ordered other items as well, then these will be shipped straightaway, and item 10213 will be shipped end of June at no further shipping costs.We realise that this is a long time to wait for your product and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused to you and your family. We would like to thank you for your patience. " So its either shipping in the next day or so or at the end of the month. Not really worried as long as it gets here Oh and dont get me started on exchange rates on toys, being a toy collector as well as a lego nut I see how it works and retailers will charge what they think they can get away with. Our American brothers/sisters have it best when it comes to pricing on toys simply due to the size of the population and you will never ever see lego clearanced in oz to the extent that i have seen online in the US

I dont know whats going on. I ordered it, along with some other stuff I got the order shipped email and then upon checking it the shuttle isnt there I only put the order in because of the shuttle Have emailed them and am awaiting a response Its also gone from the website too

Lego space and technic were my thing back in the late 70's and 80's It wasnt untill I had kids that my interest in lego has started again. My eldest (9) loves all things lego, starwars,city,castle you name it. I've started on the castle,creator,city and starwars sets myself.
