  1. LDD doesn't have the right size parts either.
  2. I need to place a BrickLink order. My current minifigures aren't the right size.
  3. Here, here. I've been reading through past quests to bring the ones I hosted up to date and it really is a treat remembering all the great party interactions, it's really getting me in the mood to host again.
  4. Boris catches the weapons and hands over the Bright Polish before slipping out of the hall to have the smithy complete his work. Upon the vampire's return, he tosses Arthur the promised Diamond, wiping his hands afterwards on his cloak. "Thanks, I'm going to need gloves if I want to handle anything like that again."
  5. Boris heads to the smithy and has the Diamond removed from his newly acquired Staff of Ennon for 50 Gold.
  6. Current Sign-ups for Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory Ezeran Yavarr (Mystic Modulus) Kiray Nastayo (KotZ) Keliim the Warrior (Mencot) Addock-Zo Obbex (Goliath) Zannaquim (Flipz) Siercon (Siercon & Coral) Vindsval (Asphalt) Arthur (Flipz) The Demon Germ (samuraiturtle) Sign-ups end in approximately 20hrs. "Pay no heed to my clerical background, I've had some experience with a blade before. How about the Blade and Staff? I'll pay to have the diamond removed and you can hold onto it."
  7. Is it though? I can remember needing clarification for the Hunter's Crossbow when it came to upgrade it. I would have thought the intention was double the SP for Star Elves...
  8. Current Sign-ups for Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory Ezeran Yavarr (Mystic Modulus) Kiray Nastayo (KotZ) Keliim the Warrior (Mencot) Addock-Zo Obbex (Goliath) Zannaquim (Flipz) Siercon (Siercon & Coral) Boris notes Arthur's keen eye and jumps as he realizes he had actually won something from the lottery. "Perhaps, my good sir. I don't know if we've met before, the name is Boris." The vampire offered his hand. "The staff is indeed quite a catch, though the glow's a bit harsh don't you think. Tell me, what do you know of that long sword you carry?"
  9. Skrall focuses in on the utter unhuman likeness of the Eldritch monsters before him, sighting down his crossbow and firing again at Tar-Valstyr from the back row. "Depart or we will end you here." Aazy and Daske continue to do nothing cheering their companions onward.
  10. Skrall reeled back from his glimpse into the creatures madness, focusing on it's Demonic nature and utter lack of resemblance to anything Dark he had ever seen, Skrall fired again from the back row. Daske rushed to the side of his dragon, cradling the beast's head in his arms. The dragoon knew his weapon was useless against such enemies, and both held back doing nothing. "Someone take care of that Tarvalk."
  11. OoC: Is there a limit on how high sanity can go? I'm slightly confused how it was calculated in the first place? Skrall shudders at the loathsome creature before them. Standing resolutely the ogre loads his Unlucky Crossbow and fires at Tar-Valstyr from the back row. "Back into the shadows with you!" Daske and Aazy moved, the goblin dodging back to one side unable to strike his opponent, but creating an opening for the dragon to attack Tarvalk from the back row.
  12. Boris strolled over to Keliim's table. "Nay, I've had enough dealings with Farmer Donauld for one lifetime. Back in my old life, he once had me come out for an entire hen house filled to the brim with possessed fowl, tried to pay me in eggs from the very same birds, they came out already hardboiled! Then there was the next time, demon cows, tried to reimburse me for my trouble with purple milk! And don't even get me started with the poltergeist pigs." Boris glanced at the longsword, "If that's a tooth pick, you must be considering daggers as splinters these days."
  13. What is the point of info boxes if all the info is already included on the page anyways?
  14. The vampire took another swill of wine from his goblet. "Father of Dragons, huh? Seems a bit pretentious don't it?" Boris watched as a mad scramble of people dashed to the quest board to sign up for the fields. "Bit of a lull it looks like, if folks are so eager to go traipsing about in some potato patches." Boris raised his voice to his Barbarian friend across the hall, "Keliim, what's all this business about the fields? I didn't know you were into pest control."
  15. "You mean, mind control? Scary stuff that, being forced out of ones own being. Was there really a dragon behind all of that like the rumors said?"
  16. "Aye, it's the same with most new comers. Can't seem to fathom a city such as this with folks from all sorts living peaceably together." The vampire pauses to secure a goblet of wine. "Nay, I can't say much has changed. I took a brief leave of absence for contemplation and fasting, but my time yielded little unraveling of my current path. The skies have not spoke to me in many months now and I wonder if they ever will again." The vampire swirls the wine in his cup contemplatively. "And you? Last I saw you were heading out on another quest, about that time we had the giant storm that blew through." "Keliim and I have been on a few journeys together, though I must say the hound is new."
  17. Boris Bruhalv, entered Heroica Hall once more noting the rather sparse condition of the quest board before heading up to join in the conversation upstairs. Nodding in greeting to both Ezeran and Keliim, the cleric took a seat next to Vindsval. "Good day my green friend, seems as there is quite a commotion going on here. New comers?"
  18. For health, (sum of party member level I expect to attack the enemy in one round + weapon) x # of rounds of combat I'm aiming for x .67 rounded down. As for level, party member health who I expect to face the enemy / how many consecutive rounds I feel they should last before they go down = 1 for extreme, = 2 for hard, = 3 for moderate, = 4 for easy. Specials are all about what adds flavor or unique strategies to the game. So if I have a 5th level rogue I'm designing a moderate monster I would have: Monster Level = Rogues Health/3 Health = (5+3)*4 [i.e. the number of rounds I'm expecting the combat to last * 2/3)
  19. Signed on as Wikibrick Down, slowly learning how to put these things together.
  20. Sitting at the hall Boris notes the fluttering letters and the speech from the veterans. Thinking it couldn't hurt Boris signs up for the lottery. Out on the windswept plains of Baltarok, Skrall waits as his party prepares themselves for the battle to come. Hearing a whoosh of paper, Skrall snags one of the traditional Z-mails out of the air, reading somewhat haphazardly before signing his name and entering the annual lottery. "If only people traveled this easily."
  21. The search function on the forum?... I'm sure we've had plenty of mentions of Automata and Golems in past quests.
  22. The search function is your friend.
  23. I see what you're saying and since your new character is a new race, I wouldn't object to that information, just be careful with how you word things. If you say "all elves hate Wakorians, because all elves are stuck up pigs" then that's a problem, if you say "all Elf-Wakorians relations are often strained at best and hostile at worst because they see them as an affront to nature." then you've got something that can be built upon by other QM's without limiting them. I wouldn't go overboard on including tons of stuff that hasn't really been in the game yet. If you're just adding articles that you have no intention on ever incorporating into the game, then it kind of goes against the purpose of the Wikia in my mind. The point of the Wikia is to be an encyclopedia of what we've created, not necessarily a fan-fic library.
  24. I'd suggest we stick to in canon information. Generally the principle in game has been if someone has staked their claim on a certain piece of lore, it's common courtesy for other QM's to respect that. The flip side of the coin is for QM's to not go making extravagant claims that severely limit how the rest of the community interacts with a certain topic. That unwritten rule sort of exists because QM's spend so much time investing in this game and I think introducing something like that into Wiki writing would be problematic because it doesn't take as much effort to contribute. If I wanted to, I could go stake a claim on a ton of Minotaur lore right now and no one would get any say in the matter. The Wiki, for the most part I feel, is for players to become "caught up" with the way things currently are, not so much for people to expand the world to where it hasn't gone yet, that's the role of the QM's and player characters. Just my thoughts though, so Sandy is free to contradict that.
  25. Skrall downs a nostrum and a mead before switching out his talisman for the paper doll he carried. "Olmstyr, to be directed by the past is to be chained to it. Let the present guide yer footsteps. Ya are no more defined by the history of one orc's madness than the Heroica of today is defined by its founders. We make our own decisions fer our own reasons now, not for a dead commander, no matter how great he was. Now let us set things right, let the nightmare end so that the orcs may forge a path of their own volition and not as the whim of some power from beyond." Skrall ensured that Soryx had all of his equipment returned. "I'd be happy to have ya stand beside us, just remember we're countin' on ya to be the expert about this thing."
