  1. This one is definitely on my "sets to buy" list. These new Lone Ranger sets reminds me of the older Western line which I missed out on because they came out during my dark ages. Now is my opportunity to pick up some sets from the Lone Ranger line. Anyway, great review!
  2. My dark ages lasted from 1995 to 2005. It all started when I was 14 when I discovered new interests, including building model kits (I still make them) which I thought were more rewarding than Legos. I was also at the age hwere lego was no longer cool (I was wrong), During my dark ages, I did appreciate some of the Lego sets but did not buy them. I remember my younger cousin getting one of the Ninja sets in the late 90's (not to be confused with Ninjago). I actually helped building the set for my cousin which I enjoyed. I also saw all the early licensed sets being released, but sadly I did not bother to buy them. It wasn't until 2005 that I discovered the Vikings sets, so out of nostalgia I bought a few of the smaller sets. Ever since I have been collecting random sets that I thought looked good to me, ranging from City, Castle and Star Wars. My true passion though are Architecture, Minifigures, and the Advanced Models (Sopwith Camel, VW Camper,etc.).
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks! I am mostly a collector too, but will try to MOC eventually. What series do you like to collect?
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks! I have a few close friends that also has Aspergers Syndrome, and they're pretty cool. Nice to meet you! Alex
  5. Hi everyone! My name is Alex, I am 32 years old and I am an AFOL. Besides Lego, I have other hobbies including anime and build plastic models. Among my first Lego set was a small Duplo police car and the small Lego race car with a minifigure, which I got them at age 4. I got seriously into Legos when I was 8; I remember having such classic sets as 6054 Forestmen's Hideout and 6380 Emergency Treatment Center. Later on, I got into Classic Space; I had a few Space Police 2 sets as well as the Deep Freeze Defender from Ice Planet 2002. When I was 14 I was experiencing my Dark Age; I got more into building models that needed to be painted and glued. Therefore I thought that I was too old for Legos. I was proven wrong when I discovered the Viking sets in 2005. Out of nostalgia, I decided to get back into collecting Lego sets by buying a few Viking sets. Besides Vikings, I also bought a few Exo Force, Mars Mission, and even a few Technic sets in the past. I even have gotten into buying older sets from Bricklink for awhile, including the old Light and Sound sets I wanted as a kid. Nowadays I am mostly into Architecture, CMF and the larger models such as the VW Camper. I even have a friend that also likes to collect Lego Architecture and Minifigures sets. There are times I will buy a few random sets from City or Star Wars that strikes me fancy. I am mainly a collector but I would like to get into MOCing one day. Nice to meet you all!
