  1. It looks like one of the pieces from the 2004 Knights' Kingdoms Bionicle-like figures
  2. Since 2011 has come to an end, it's time to review the top 5 minifigures released in 2011. Just please don't post any CMFs (we all know those are the best ) and none from 2012-made sets that were released early in 2011 (no Super Heores, Friends, Forest Police, ect). Also, the minifigure can be a Car from the "Cars" sets. My top 5 minifigures are (not in any order): Jack Sparrow- This minifigure looks almost exactly like Jack Sparrow from the movies! LEGO really nailed this one on detail! Helena Tova Skvalling- From PQ, this minifigure is amazing. She one of the most detailed non-licensed minifigures. I love her hair (new color of an old style) and her face (less generic then the normal female non-licensed minifigures). Her torso is very cool looking, too. Nya- This female ninja looks like she can kick some butt! Her face is 2 sided, and one side can be commonly used in a city, and the other can be used in a ninja set up. Her torso and pants are pretty detailed, too. Mermaid Syrena- This is one licensed minifigure that looks a lot like it's movie counterpart! Her hair is lovely, and I love her mermaid fin. Business Man- This guy works great as a city civilian! His face is unique in my book, and his business torso is very useable. Mods, if there is already a topic on this, please lock this.
  3. I like this idea, since I missed most of 2011 on Eurobricks! I can't wait to see the Licensed theme section added!
  4. Since its prime, I could tell that Ninjago was going to get more than 3 waves. The amount of marketing LEGO put into it was insane- there was 41 sets of it released in 2011 alone. Though, I didn't really think the spinners sold well (I use to see an almost full inventory of each spinner at Target). I think the last year for it will be in 2013, getting 5-6 waves like Exo-Force, and there will probably only be around 4 spinners released, but more than 4 booster packs (everywhere I go, those are sold it!).
  5. It looks like the gorilla has a full head mold (no eye holes). I only be picking this set up since I don't have the gorilla guy, the fisherman, or the evil space dude.
  6. It'll probably be released near Easter/Valentines day at Target. One can hope.
  7. Thanks for the review! The I don't think the life jackets are new to this set. They came with my copy of the 4642 Fishing Boat.
  8. Nice review! If I ever do pick up this set, it would be for the mini-mine and for the criminal's car, which both look decent.
  9. Nice review! If I pick up this set, it would be for the parts. According to bricklink, Peter has a new hair color! Also, I do not like how TLG is using 16x16 thin plates instead of baseplates.
  10. I'm in Florida. They had a bunch of them their, too, and they were all in an end cap display. I got 2 cave womans, 1 monkey trainer, and 1 detective.
  11. Yea, there's a few of those on sale in the Sawgrass Florida store. The pieces looked pretty consistent in each bag.
  12. Out of all the new polybags, the only one I'm gonna be picking up is the police boat, just because it's the best way to get the forest police minifigure with the new face. In my opinion, the other polybags look half-a**ed, except for the race car, which looks decent.
  13. Sorry for this BUMP, but Target is selling Series 5 for $2.51 each! I picked a few up yesterday!
  14. LEGO P&F sounds like a great idea! If those come to system, I'll definitely be picking them up for the unique hairpieces!
  15. I'm contemplating on getting the Earth Defense HQ with my $50 Barnes and Nobles gift card. Do you guys think it's worth it? Is their a better non-licensed set out right now that I could buy?
  16. When I opened this set today, a corner on the comic was ripped, and a part of the top of the instruction booklet was bent.
  17. This is a major annoyance to me, too. I usually get the pearl silver, grey, dark grey, and black mixed up with each other due to the instruction book's printing.
  18. I hate bumping up such an old topic, but S@H has Construct-a-Zurg for $6 USD, and still has the Pizza Planet Truck for $20.
  19. Abduction- definitely one of the worst movies of 2011.
  20. I've finally come to my senses, sign me up!
  21. CMF Volume 4 has to be my favorite small set of 2011... There are just so many useable minifigures in that one! If CMFs don't count, my favorite is probably the Black Smith Attack, the Fishing Boat, or the Captains Cabin.
  22. Wow, what an amazing MOC! Coming from a Toy Story fan, I love your rebuild of RC- it makes him look very Christmasy! Also, I like the rocky cliff that they're taking off from. It looks great combined with the white snow bricks.
  23. Unnecesary BUMP? I knew "legomilk" would be right with his predictions. He's always right!
  24. Can't wait 'til the rest of the parts come out! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get this set for Christmas. If there isn't much reviews by then, I'll put up a review.
  25. Thanks! I love the way the orange and lime green building looks... it's very unique! Like "fallenangel309" previously stated, the business and density of the city adds a great sense of reality! Great job!
