It's a shame that the $3.50 impulse sets were discontinued in 2010... Now, there are just polybags and the $5-$7 impulse sets... Polybags are usaully store exclusive, and are just mini-not modular versions of bigger sets, and the $5-$7 impulses are sometimes to small to be worth that much.

Didn't buy anything today, but on Thursday, I brought 3661 Bank and Money Transfer, and a Series 6 Robot at the LEGO store, using the 10% off coupon and the $5 off savings from finding the four-leaf clover.

My favorite LEGO Avenger is Iron Man. In the early photos, he looked a bit weird, but in the newer photos, he looks great. It's a shame he is only in two sets that I don't really want, but I guess I could drive myself pick up the Cosmic Cube Escape. For my favorite Marvel figure, it's Wolverine. His figure looks exceptional as well.

Exactly. I've only seen three POTC sets (White Cap Bay, The London Escape, and the magnet set) on clearence, compared to seeing half of the Cars 2 sets on clearence. Additionally, I tried getting Isle De Muerta and Queen Anne's Revenge back when the theme was first released, and they were sold out.

$11 on 2011 sets+$12 on 2012 sets=$23 - the rest were gifts, or newer/older sets I got in 2012. I think that is the lowest I spent in a while. Tally up: -$6 on CMF Series 5 packs (12/17/11) -$11 on 5882 Ambush Attack (11/23/11) -$5 on 2516 Ninja Training Outpost (January 2011) 7279 Police Minifigure collection was about to make the cut, but I brought that on 12/31/10.

I just found a single copy of 30105 Mailbox at Walmart today. Strangely, there weren't any other polybags there. I couldn't drive myself to pick it up, though.

I picked up the Clockwork Robot today, and I'm impressed! The head is molded exactly like a minifigure head, except it's rectangular and has bumpy printing!

Hehe, I have a few: •10184 Town Plan- What's there to say about this set that hasn't already been said? •7641 City Corner- Man, the hype up from me for this set was amazing. And, the set lived up to all of my hype. •8403 City House- Another exceptional City set. I love the details, and the building is amazing. •8804 CMF Series 4- My favorite CMF series. I love everyone of the minifigures, and it's a shame I only own 3 figures from this series. •7596 Trash Compactor Escape- This is probably my most out-of-line choice. This is my favorite set of my favorite licensed theme. Again, the hype from me for this set was amazing. This was the first, and only set I personally ordered from Toys'R'Us.com. •10185 Green Grocer- Another one of those highly praised sets that I own, and it deserves all of its praise. I love the intricate details, the interior, and its a perfect grocery store.

Excellent review of this rare set! I know this is going to be released in the US for a very short time, but I'm still pretty hesitant on buying it for $50. Some of the pieces are cool, and the minifigure is quite awesome.

Nice MLP: Friends is Magic MOC, 'LegoMyMamma'! I love the varied use of "girl" colors, especially the purple!

Just saw Jack and Jill. The one with Adam Sandler. I didn't even finish it. I walked away half way through. It was really THAT bad. 1/10

I picked up the Bandit figure from Target yesterday, and it's better than I expected. I love his gloves, the black western guns, and the dark red bandana. His faces is also very menacing.

Wow, if that is a grey calculator/laptop, the Computer Teacher will be the best figure of the Series 7 for me.

At the moment, if there ARE any TDKR sets, they must be exclusive to a store. Which isn't a bad thing, as long as it isn't TRU. Either that, or, they spoil the movie too much, in the same vein that the TS3 sets weren't known as much until March 2011, except for prelims. Keep in mind, TDKR comes out in late July.

Hehe, more new MLP episode discussion for It's About Time! Overall, I give the episode an 8.25/10. I also just saw the latest Regular Show episode, Gut Model. I give the episode an average 7/10. For the new episode of MLP, Dragon Quest, I watched it on a stream... I give the episode a 9/10.

Excellent review! You captured the play functions of the set perfectly. It's a shame this set is so rare, though. The only gripe I have with this set is the quality of the figures and the mine cart function, since the gates usually fall off, and the cart stops randomly.
