Materials to use for customizing
Omicron replied to thestrongest's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I'll speak on brasso since that is my personal niche when it comes to customizing. Brasso is a type of metal polish (which can be bought in regular stores like Wal-Mart). It removes the printing on parts, but will not alter the color of the piece (but will remove the sheen, which isn't a big deal). A piece of cloth works well when using brasso to rub print off. I personally just cut up a shirt I don't wear anymore. If you want to remove certain parts of a head or torso, use scotch tape to cover up what I want to keep (this is a repetitive process), and just rub off the rest. Do it right, and you can turn things like this into this. As for glue, you can't go wrong with industrial strength super glue. If you want a part to stay on, make sure it stays on. I use small thread scissors to cut fabric to make close cuts. When I get serious with cutting and drilling, I use a dremel tool for all that. Can also be found at Wal-Mart and other stores. And for workstation, garage, basement, or your own room is best. I do all my stuff on the floor in my room. :P All the necessary tools are cheap and can be found at any retail store with a hardware section. -Omi -

It's a prototype, dubbed the "Chakram". Will Chapman showcased it last year at BrickCon, and made Tron discs out of them. And he recently gave me a few. :P -Omi

Kenshi is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He made his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. As a born fighter, Kenshi wandered Earthrealm in search of worthy competition. One day, Kenshi encountered a man named Song, who convinced Kenshi that a great warrior needed a great sword; Song then led Kenshi to the location of an ancient, powerful sword Song claimed would befit Kenshi's power. As Kenshi unsealed the well wherein the sword supposedly lay, he was overwhelmed by souls trapped within and permanently blinded. Song revealed himself to be none other than the vile sorcerer Shang Tsung and proceeded to absorb the released souls and left Kenshi to die within the tomb. However, the sword, which actually did exist, attracted Kenshi and spoke to him, leading him from the tomb and revealing its origin. The sword originally belonged to a long line of great swordsmen from whom Kenshi descended; the well where the sword lay was also the sacred resting place of the souls of Kenshi's ancestors, souls that were stolen by Shang Tsung. Kenshi spent the next decade or so retraining his senses, all while searching for his betrayer and the defiler of his ancestry. Reference *Head and torso modified by me *Shoulder pads are MMCB -Omi

Incorrect. The belt is actually made by a clone brand in Taiwan called Sidan Toys. Minifig.Cat resells them on BrickLink. -Omi

I added flesh to the torso right after I took the pic, without paint since I don't like painting as much. Hair is an exception. As for white eyes, I am just working with what Lego gives me. :P -Omi
