LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Gee, it seems that KimT will be spilling steam before my kettle does! That clone has new torso printing as well. Its all worn and ragged like he's been in the war for once. More realistic, it it. -
CloneCommanderDelta7's new Clone Weapons
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in LEGO Star Wars
the lead general, good idea. Realistically it looks like the rifle with an attachment, such as a grenade launcher found on modified M4s. If that's what you want it to be then good, as Lego is the imagination. Just think about how the soldier would feel with a heavy gun (this does not directly apply to your particular weapon, just a thing said to everyone). Happy building everyone! -

I think it has one or two technic beams, 5/7/9 x 1 x 1 (L x W x H - just saying this so I don't confuse you, or more likely confuse myself!) joined to the guns and the engine. When you turn the engine, it would pull/push on the beam and thus pull/push the guns to the same position. See, Technic Front Loaders helps the building ideas! That phone call ought to be laughs! "umm, ahh...I can't actually tell you about that...umm" (The sets aren't in stores in Australia yet are they? Besides, who besides the designers themselves would know what era which set would be in. I myself am confused already! -
Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?

It roars in neutral, the only gear its been in since my uncle (who loves bikes [or used to, but still takes a shine to them] and rode it around our yard) because we haven't got a good place to ride it. Still waiting for our new ute to arrive as it will be our transport for it. Still got to get those gotcha straps though. And a ramp, but a ladder should suffice for now. Happy riding everyone! -

I believe the Swamp Speeder hovered, not flew. It had the Star Wars propulsion drive, the Repulsorlift. It didn't have the wings-powered-by-a-huge-engine combo that usually enables flight if engineered correctly. No, it could not fly, but maybe hover several metres above the ground giving the illusion of a flying vehicle. -
Lookin good ADHO. I have finished my Lego Sharpie Clones and they will be posted when they are ready for uploading. Giving you a heads-up since its busy here! "FLY FOR THE EMPIRE!"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/44838416@N02/ There's the link to Flickr. Soon I'll get a few photos of the thing in action, or maybe a video? -
I second that. If they did, it would be a fraction of that size, but at least fit a Jedi starfighter and several rooms. But Rook, I always knew you were good, very good. But until now, I have changed my mind about your creations. They are so good, great, excellant that they utterly blow anyone away! Next stop, Acclamator?

As Whitefang said, 'Quality control of TLG is of high assurance.' After hearing that all I can say is the only brand that is on par (or closest, because seriously?) would be Megabloks. Even then, Megabloks do not have a licence with Star Wars anyway. About clone brands, licences will prohibit others copying the same logos, licences, etc. So after saying that, it also depends of what kind of shop you are at. If it would be Toys 'R' Us then, or in Australia anyway, they keep their Lego in a specific section. So boxes are the main giveaways. Happy shopping, or hope you survive it anyway, 'cause I have no idea what happy shopping is!

I bought a CRF250R '09 the other day. I'm so excited about it - it arrives on Monday or Tuesday! I'll get photos once I finish riding it but before I ride it again! -
LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Aayla Secura doesn't even have Decals yet so whether or not Bly is officialy in the set is unconfirmed. Those clones are hard to make out but there may or may not be symbols there; I thought I saw some. pugsx3, I believe they put a skeleton in the cave because there are wampas in the same cave, and they happen to eat meat, ie humans, which of course have skeletons inside and when left to rot, a corpse will reveal the bones in the end. Maybe that should answer your question. -

On the Turbo Tank, they haven't even made the mold yet so whether or not her 'head-tails' will be a hair piece or one of those backpack attachments to the neck. I think I spy Commander Bly as well! For Grievous, the new mold looks excellant on first impressions, so that should turn out well; but for the rest I'm not too sure. -
I think they meant to show the lights/sun reflected in the eye, because that's what seems the main reason.

I know! He was a pain to listen to at the start of the Snowtroopers battle pack, he called snowtroopers 'stormtroopers' and called th AT-AT pilot a 'driver'. If they really are drivers it would be sad because you would need more skill than flying a plane to pilot an AT-AT. Make sure it is level ground, don't descend too quickly, make sure the incline is within power limits...

Awesome, especially the Clone Turbo Tank, Slave 1 and Grievous's fighter, Soulless One (see a connection?). For me, Palpatine's shuttle is too much like the 2009 start-of-year flagship, Republic Assault Shuttle. Roncanater, I SAVED them. Oh, beat that! Joking, just had to do that actually! -

That swamp speeder has a stormtrooper in it. Sorry if someone said it already but I'm mighty tired from my ride. Looking good, it is! BTW Fumoffu, if you select the flower button on your camera it will take better pics of closer images. Also make sure there is enough natural light. Your probably a pro at taking pictures (or maybe just at least able, I don't know) but I'll say it anyway. -
Much better than the other one, with a better disc and arms. As ADHO said, "Perfect! Just Perfect!" Defi, it is supported by a singe ball joint (looks like it) but since it is folded up onto itself, it is very stable, or should be if experience has taught me anything!

Brain Invaders is a scary idea. Something Doctor Who would have made for a nightmarish time on TV. I haven't watched the episode myself as Australia doesn't get to air them till early next year, I suppose.

CCD7's CD/OHP Marker Clones
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks. I'll try sometime when I get the right colours but my original idea was to camoflauge them in the BOC colours, i.e. black. As you may have noticed, all of them have a black crest on the helmet. I'd like to see you try to paint them, or anyone. I'm not saying this as I'm saying I'm the best, no, I meant that you should try to custimise your own battalions. -

The visors are removable on motocross helmets, as I am just reminding you. You should always wear helmet; I'm agreeing with you. It doesn't hurt but it trys to stop you getting hurt (well majorly hurt) in an accident. -
