  1. And I like motards and sport bikes better than cruisers and sport tourers Although dirt bikes still are the major players in two-wheeled world for me. I know it is a very hard trick (Or it looks way too intimidating to try at least) but have any of you tried to backflip your bike? For all those daredevils out there. Big Cam, use a dirt bike helmet without goggles. They are very well ventilated and cool when riding at a high speed. Just wear sunglasses to keep the wind out of your eyes, I guess.
  2. Awesome clones ADHO! They sure capture the image that the Lego's do, or maybe a better one. Sierra's name could be changed to Crosseye as it fits in with the markings on his armour. Once again the clones look extroadinary and original!
  3. Thanks; in fact, could anyone come up with a better name for Sierra? I couldn't find one so I used a Greek letter name, like I did for Delta. That's right for Lefty as well. If you look at the deco on his chest it resembles a soundwave how it has a arc that gets bigger the further it goes. Thanks Mr. Mandalorian, you run an interesting point there.
  4. Looks like I've given you more ideas in my clone sharpie topic...Tabbycat, Cub, Leopard, Lefty...
  5. Thanks everyone, especially ADHO who made this a reality. If he hadn't made all those wonderful clones in his thread in the Culture & Multimedia topic then I would have run out of ideas. With my squad, I tried to make the feeling of Captain Price's Bravo 6 SAS team. Its that kind of family feeling...war does make you think funny things. BTW I like them all but since it always reverts to the unvoted style I will vote for Delta (I put him as the commander so mentally that makes him superior) and I will definately say 'no' to the second question. 'Why' may you ask? Well the thing is that I seem to be giving lego less recognition. So I'm going all out with it and making it different makes me think more of it. Sorry if you don't understand. Leopard has blue and red markings and the reason for that is, Leopard has served the 501st several times and he was awarded recognition for it as he bloody well spearheaded the final assault on Felucia during the last hours of the Clone Wars. Because my squad was so independant, they disappeared after Order 66 and trained as mercenaries for many clients. They kept their modified armour as a symbol that there still was 'unwavering discipline' and order throughout the galaxy. Their favourite client was the Fetts, who stood alongside them on many missions. Palpatine did not know much of what the BOC was up to, nor that they merely existed. I used a Black CD/OHP Marker Pen. With my steady hand (which you cannot buy) I drew, steadily, the markings of which you see here.
  6. Could you tell me what you think about this? What I want is an off-roader that is powered by a motor with suspension. It has return-to-centre steering and it is fast. But first I built the chasis. Looks like I accidentally deleted the photos of the whole thing. Not to worry though as this ca be like a teaser trailer.
  7. My marker clones are ready in STAR WARS forum!!!! YAY!!!!
  8. BOC - Black Ops Command Black Op is a military operation that is meant to be covered up, mostly because they are usually illegal. It would be almost certain that the Republic would have some as well, because most nations already have done hundreds upon hundreds. Delta - weapon of choice - MP5 CAMO BOC TROOPERS - The originals (from left-to-right) Leopard - weapon of choice - Barret Arms Manucfacturing M82 Barret Cub - weapon of choice - unknown Tabbycat - weapon of choice - M4 Bloodhound - weapon of choice - M4 THE NEW GUYS (from left-to-right) Soundwave - weapon of choice - M9 Sierra - weapon of choice - FIM-92 STINGER Lefty - weapon of choice - FGM-148 JAVELIN THE TEAM CAMO TESTING - CAMERA FLASH
  9. Thanks for the comments guys! I have the FGM-148 JAVELIN ready; here it is... Would you take him on?! And a grenade that may be most related to the Model 24 Stielhandgranate or Stick hand grenade. They are very famous and I believe they are used by the Master Chief in Halo 3. Here, Leopard's little apprentice, Cub demonstrates how to wield the weapon. The 'I-forgot-that-I-pulled-the-pin-and-now-I'm-a-goner' throw. The over-arm throw. The 'lob-it-over-the-wall' throw. Just don't hammer the end so hard, please...
  10. Doesn't matter. Most of my BOC troopers are ready and are headed by Commander Delta. I have experimented with camo techniques and even though they are messy they look so realistic.
  11. Remember the SAS picture? Could you make a Clone like a SAS trooper with the gas mask? It'd be like a clone with black armour and a harness with pockets, lots of pockets and a holster on the right upper leg for a pistol. That's my legion the '73rd Black Ops Command' or BOC. BOC Troopers are headed by my very own Commander Delta. Since Lego, for me, isn't going to be very special I'm going to sharpie them all (or rather CD/OHP Marker them all) into BOC Troopers. Such a shame I'm not going to 'blacken' my gunship. EDIT: PS I finally finished the Javelin from COD4 into Lego.
  12. Oh no! Will you still be on PS3? We'll miss you, as everyone said...
  13. Definately! R4-P17 was the droid Obi-Wan had. I am pretty sure about that but I am not sure whether any of you posted about it before. Go the ARC-170, awesome pilots! Oh and btw, the AT-AT/TIE pilot's helmet is the same as the ARC's helmet except with the cut and markings.
  14. Awww, Australia never gets first launch dates! Oh, well. Those pictures look great. Looks like the first review is almost up for grabs again.
  15. I thought someone said that the Suzuki RM-Z450 didn't have a computer or something like that? WAIT!!! YOU ARE SAYING THAT THE ECU IS A COMPUTER!!! BTW, I thought that all it does is just regulate the fuel intake? If it really is a computer, I'm going to be really annoyed as I really am starting to hate computers. Just not the one I'm typing these words into, it hardly ever has freak attacks. As James May said, "If you hate technology, just shoot it with a gun." Alas, that's what I think he said. EDIT: That's why I like dirt bikes more than any computer, because there are no computers on it. Its supposed to be all mechanical heaven. Now I might cry.
  16. I really like that song, but it isn't my favourite. As I'm not listening to music right now, I'll tell you that I listened to a song called Genocide by The Offspring. I really like that song.
  17. Isn't that the point of it, Big Cam. If I had one of those plates I would probably have (this is assuming I started to race in motocross for the long-run): the make of my bike and the racing number. Basically either KTM : 73 (I like no. 73) or Honda : 73. I also like numbers 96, 73 and 21. Isn't that a bit of trivia! Legolink, maybe you should have either resized those pictures or found smaller ones. And honestly, horsepower isn't everything! In smaller motocross tracks the 250s might buzz by faster or for instance drag races; whoever gets the better start practically wins the race. BTW, I like Lotus Elises/Exiges, Pagini Zondas and Toyota Landcruiser 70s. I think I have narrowed it down. (P.S. my bike love-list is much bigger)
  18. Hehe, looks like I got off scratch-free!
  19. Sairen, is you gelagrub trooper really is just an anonymous captain or some other rank riding a gelagrub. But maybe you should make a clone that could blend in with the gelagrub and look like the animal hasn't got a rider. Funny thought though, gelagrub trooper. I like it!
  20. Usually plants and animals are brick-built but unless you have played it we will not know yet.
  21. Sorry Ricecracker, I always look for other threads like the one I am posting but it seems I didn't see your one.
  22. Ah, the E-Web is basically a turret, and I have been trying to make a detailed but very mobile turret. I succeeded in my last batch but I will always try to make new weapons so it may be an idea. Thanks CommanderFox & Big Cam.
  23. A common saying, "A weapon is only as good as the soldier behind it" and that is often repeated in many forms for other occupations. The difference between the RPG-7 and the FIM-92 STINGER is the fact that one is just an 'point-and-fire' operatational use and the other has a 'lock-on' feature. The RPG-7 has no guiding system and the missile will not remain on a straight course as it will generally lose speed as its fuel reserves deplete. Other weapon MOCs I would like to make: Better Sniper Rifle (not compulsory) FGM-148 Javelin Heckler & Koch G36C
  24. Thanks guys! For the Tiger stripes, I knew they would look nice and flashy for a battle and they sure did the trick. As for the gunship, I tried to make it as realistic as possible, even adding the side cannon. I mean what vehicle wouldn't have a side cannon if it was big enough to support one? I got most of my ideas from COD4 and expecially the side cannon as I wanted it to look like the Lockheed AC-130 'Spooky' but ended up with the cannon that you find in the CH-47 Sea Knight that you travel in as Sgt Paul Jackson of USMC in the mission 'Shock and Awe.'
  25. Just swap the 'l' in lives for a 'w' and it makes quite a lot of sense too.
