Oh my. You guys, this is what he meant: We'd possibly be getting a properly scaled UCS Venator. And then ADH015 said it was "minifig scaled." Nothing will ever be, and could ever be minifig scaled properly. I mean, Lego books are twice the size of minifigs heads! And remember, even the giant UCS ISD was still no where near minifig scaled. In fact, properly scaled, the Venator would be around the size of three houses! End of that discussion.

Very nice find. Although I'm not a pirates collector, I just might get this for the two guns, the golden scope, the two color bird, and the pirate golden hook, shoulder pads, and brown wooden leg. And a note: Not talking to anyone who's already asked this, but the next person who asks about the minifigs being glued or not, I will PM you a list of the, in counting 32 previous posts in star wars, Indiana Jones, and other topics.

And I am agreeing with you. I am saying the Tank doesn't need a pilot because it operates itself!

Why does the Tank Droid so badly need a place for the pilot, if only a handful of them actually used a pilot. It's a Tank Droid, not just a tank. It can steer itself.

I am in love with this! It's the closest thing to scale we'll ever have! So huge! I love it! This really is a work of art!

Even though I only owned 1 or 2 batman sets (don't remember,) it's really sad to see ol' mammal bird die like that. Just wait a couple of weeks and megabloks will steal the license!

The camouflage droid looked black to me at first, but when I looked up a little the screen brightened. Very good job. It'd be nice for the little red dot to go on the rocket droid.

A bit blockey hear and there, and quite large compared to the actual thing, but if TLG made something closer to this... We should sponsor that guy with some new clones and fleshy faces for his poor minifigs. 2002 style.

The helmet, it might just be the different printing, but Booger540 may be right. The lip looks a lot lower and the fin starts back, but maybe it's just the same old more noticable on the solid blue with new printing.

Kashyyyk troopers as in the Episode III clones with green markings or the green clones with Scout Trooper helmets?

I think Palpy will have Dooku hair, since it's a perfect match. Maaaaybe in yellow. EDIT: Since all of the pics of the Venator we've seen are box only, in one of the newer pics, you can see very clearly, that athough the front flap lifts up, so there's interior there, there are still technic axels beneath the non-opening part, so it looks like there may be an escape pod after all, and interior!

They aren't too good over wheels, but they do quite well as other things. Like in exo-force you can use it as a banister, in Star Wars you can use it as a gunning turret, and if you ever want to make a super Humvee, those things are right for you.

Holy flapjacking sugar! That's incredible! Using brown rahkshi backs, who'd a thunk it! You definitely deserve a MOC expert badge for that. And the speed racer/agents curved windshield. And brickbuilt engines too! You could apply for a job as a set designer for TLG! There's even a control panel, steering wheel, stick shift, and brickbuilt chairs! In the far back I see the two reddish brown chairs popping up off the bumper.

Hey thanks! But where is the picture with a face? Or is it confidential? Or am I confused? I'm not to bothered by the minifig count. I know you guys were all looking forward to an amazing set all around, but I think the ship is pretty good enough for me, so I'll be picking up one of these. Side note: I really don't want to see Palpatine's CW face. His gray old wrinkly OT zombie face might look better!

Happened to me in 2006 with the piraka stronghold. there was a dark white guy and a white guy, and after I built the dark white guy, I panicked because there were only dark white arms left over and the white guy needed light arms. in the end I realized the dark white guy had white arms and the white guy had dark white arms.

Ooh, I love the Ninja. But I wonder, if they release an old minifig for the next collection, with Dark Gray, will they use the old color to keep it official, or will they use Dark Bluish Gray because it's all they have? EDIT: Holy cheesecake I've been knighted! Do I get a sword now?

I don't care if they do or not, but the first, and oldest picture of Star Wars 2009 we have of the Venator turns out to be the closest to the final product, and in that picture, although it was blurry, it looked like a new mold.

8307, Pirate Survival, 6239 Cannon Battle, and 7040 Dwarves' Mine Defender. Now I have a rare trans-orange flame (as compared to the common trans neon-orange,) A fish, troll helmets, dwarf beards and helmets, imperial armada hats, a map, two green pirate caps, the golden telescope thing, the brand new canon, pirate era swords, and the lovely new flame/feather!

So the steam saber is the glow in the dark rod? This looks excellent, though I'd like to see where the saber tube ends.

I'd really prefer a brand new face totally. Maybe like ugly Argyus's? By the way, does anyone know if the final Commandos have new molded helmets or not? The newest picture, showing plain blue Clones is officially now marked older than the others. So it could be a new mold! Is it, Sir Von Lego?

To me it looks like it really contracts and extends do to all the technic beams, pins, and hinges on the legs. It looks like you can turn the knob and it each leg would snap up and down at different times.

Good looking set... but really... those faces kind of scare me!
