Did they ever find the bananas? Good job, and nice use of that green Exo-Force hair -piece. Since those rubbery-hair pieces never ever stay on minifig heads or any studs anyway, this is a good use for it! And do I se lime green Gary eyes from the spongebob sets finally used correctly as berries?

Is there a possibility you can remove the Venator escape pod without opening up the back and taking it out? Possibly there's a hidden knob and the floor underneath will give way?

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
Darth Legolas replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Not only that, but two weeks away from the debut of the Hyena Bomber! Only seen once before in a webcomic! I'm really ready for these, and an Open Circle Acclamator! -
Obviously that Royal Naboo ship isn't a 2009 set. I'm not even sure how real it is, or was. Looked like a decent set though... maybe. I really like the book idea, I'll be buying that, and I think it's just for certain countries that 10195 comes out April 10th... butt I have no clue.

The Clone Factory - Droid Commando
Darth Legolas replied to clonefactory's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow... just wow. I'll be voting for you. -
Oh definitely! If we didn't have to even swivel the turret around that would make the Dropship HUGE! I really can't wait for 10195 and the Venator! Lego did a fabulous job! @Theguywhocan'tfindacloseupofGunray: Try looking at the front page???

2 reddish brown, 1 old light gray. I really like those little boat pieces. They're quite fun to build with.

10195 Republic Dropship & AT-OT Discussion
Darth Legolas replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Jose! It's spelled Jose! With a little accent thingie over the E! Anyways, I can see why so many people hate the price, and definitely why the hate CW, but why do they hate the set? Also, a lot of people who say no, don't even give which CW set is better! And PLEASE people, I am not saying, and never will say that CW is better than the original Star Wars. Since when was that the title of this topic? I am not asking you to think about which versions of Star Wars were better, I'm asking which Lego sets were! -
Here is my final word on this: Stay the heck on topic! And, I like you halomaster, but really, the next guy is gonna get stuffed on the Millenium Falcon and shipped off to Hoth to freeze. No, you don't have to look back 10 pages, you have to look back one page, and the page before that, and the page before that, and the page before that, and 4 other pages before that. No joke in counting! So people, please look here, we HAVE seen the MF and Tank! Now, back on topic, I wonder if we'll have to remove any pieces from the AT-TE, such as the gunning turret in order for it to fit in the dropship. It seems like the AT-OT is smaller, and even that has to fold up!
-
Why in the world would we hook up the AT-AT to the Dropship? That would never happen! There's a huge time differences between the two ships, but if you're looking for size, since the AT-TE fits, see if the AT-AT is the same size as the AT-TE on the top, and if you don't put weight in as a factor then it should hold. Anyone else see the video that shows the Separatist Shuttle's feature, where the two halves of the back slide open which explains the knob on the side? @pr0visorak: Price Ranter!
-
If this makes any sense, someone could say, "Look, I'm so cool, I have the Republic Attack Shuttle!", but then the collectors can look closely and say "Liar! That's a magnet Mace!"

10195 Republic Dropship & AT-OT Discussion
Darth Legolas replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Death Star is better, but this is CW sets. Am I right? Oh yes, I am, I started the topic! Woohoo, first poll! And I'm happy to see Lucas, is smiling. For now... -
Lowest price it's 4.45, Highest 11.49. And they're about 50 lots! http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?invXrefID=85574

A random thought i had, if you're looking to make the famous Salacious B. Crumb or Pilf Mukmuk, the perfect official TLG piece for a Kowakian Monkey-Lizard, the Avatar Momo piece looks exactly like it: But you can always use a regular TLG monkey and paint it funny colors.

Best: 1. Star Wars, Star Wars, Star Wars! 2. Indy Jones 3. Castle I love all of the Castle buildings, and the wide variety of armor for the Crowny/Crownie minifigures. I also love the new skeletons they introduced, and the troll helmets and armor. I don't understand anyone's beef with Indiana Jones. TLG did a pretty amazing job with this theme, and is still taking it all the way. I love Race for Stolen Treasure and the who detailed car style. I'm definitely looking forward to The Temple of Doom set, though I won't be getting it. And as for Star Wars, anyone with the word "Darth" in their screen name doesn't need a reason. Now for the worst: 1. Spongebob 2. Avatar 3. None. Now I'm not trying to pick on Nickelodeon but here's why I dislike these two: Spongebob has very cool minifigures, but it could go so much further. The buildings are all very boring and not too complicated. They are aimed for very young ages, but really, the biggest Spongebob set I could do in minutes. Not to mention the price of all these and the fact that they re-released two sets with slightly different parts in them. As for Avatar, the whole theme was a waste. Though maybe the Mo-mo Lemur piece could be used as a Kowakian Monkey-Lizard in Star Wars! The rest, Pirates, Space Police, Bionicle, NXT, Power Miners, Agents, Harry Potter, these sare all amazing themes, but none are my favorite simply. Maybe not so much with Exo-Force. That would go in the "1 before worst."

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Darth Legolas replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
I really don't know how you guys do this. For some reason, whenever I have a picture in my head, I get builders block, but when I am freebuilding with no idea what I'm doing I get it done in a matter of minutes. But to have a whole plan and image in your head and get it done exactly, it's just amazing! Or you have a bit too much time on your hands... -
I hope when I order 10195 they send me four too! Either a super error, or a super luck strike!

10195 Republic Dropship & AT-OT Discussion
Darth Legolas replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, a lot of people are turned off by the price, but remember on Shop@home it is listed in the UCS section and the CW section. I also love the accuracy, if anyone wants to take into matter, with the green seats and the fact that the AT-OT can fit 16 in it's back seats unlike the AT-TE which can only fit 6! But don't forget it can go with so many combinations, seeing as the AT-TE also hooks up with the LAAT/ as said on Shop@home! But it is a matter of opinion. -
I am definitely voting yes. The day I get it.... it's indescribable how happy I will be. Also, if you think it's 2nd place to something, please say that. But since so many people have said it, I want to know if it's unanimous! Also, sorry if this should be closed.

They could've been planning since 2007! Oh this is so exiting! Now we can really use it as it is in the official storyline, and we get an awesome AT-OT walker! With 16 seats in the back and a beautiful cockpit! I had always assumed that the weird technic beam in my AT-TE was a fluke that I was too lazy to go back and read the directions to fix! Now I am going bonkers for this set!
-
On lookers, please pay attention to this post, very important! I now have an idea of what the weird technic beam does on both the AT-TE and AT-OT! It helps the dropship carry the ship! TLG has been planning on this set since 2008! KimT's picture: Now look in the center, you can see it sliding up into the center! LAAT/C can fit the AT-TE! (Probably)

Just like the real thing, I have them jump out from the whole in the bottom. In actuality there's a hatch in the floor of the body for Clones to jump out of.

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Darth Legolas replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Does anyone else notice that this is on the same number line as 10195, the AT-OT and LAAT/C Republic Dropship? Does this mean that maybe Lego is making up a new category of awesome looking must-buy wallet burning sets? I think it does. I'm truly sorry if this has been said before, but I'm too lazy to go back and read through the posts.- 559 replies

I saw this at the grocery store. And I must pick one up! It looks really cool, and I'm sure on brickl;ink in the future those pieces will be worth a bunch.
