Value of this mechinism.

No, the link still doesn't work. Sorry. I also am kind of confused as to what you're saying. -
I am talking about sets from 2007 up. And they never made a statement, but since then until now they have only used dark translucent for cockpits.
-
I can't walk a mile without something watchmen related popping up in my face. I never read the comic/novel thing, but I will see the move just to understand what every one's so hyped about. Hail to the blue guy who needs some pants!

So in 2007, it was set in stone that all light clear translucent pieces were "invisible," and not really there, so they could be used to make things hover like the STAP, and dark translucent pieces were windows and windshields. (For Star Wars only, completely different with other things like Indy Jones.) But now, suddenly this year, we have Count Dooku's speeder with an "invisible" monitor, which would be a tad bit weird to add a random invisible piece. And also, in the Anakin's CW Y-wing set, we have a light translucent bubble. So now, why did we make the sudden change back? Is it cheaper or easier? Or are we supposed to use our imaginations to destinct invisible pieces from dark translucent in the world of Star Wars?

Very nice work, but some more pictures are in need. From what I see though, you did very well with the droid and rickshaw.
-
Rubbing Alcohol, definitely. You can practically remove anything with the stuff, but yes, once I accidentally sharpied on a piece or...4 and removed it instantly with a bit of that.
-
Oh yeah, that was you! I forgot about that. Anyways, what do you do about Patrciks face being on the back of Ki's head?
-
Happy birthday! Congratulations mister first-to-have-preliminary-Venator-pictures-man! I am very grateful! "We're not worthy!"
-
EDIT: One of your image tags are broken. This definitely belongs in minifig customization workshop, but I still think that two heads stacked together with a wrap around decal look better and less misshapen. But I had originally come up with the Patrick head idea, since I posted it in December, but later I came up with this:
-
The Y-wing released is Anakin's. His was special, and designed the opposite of the rest.
-
Wow... the last topic grew way more quickly. Oh well. Thanks for the advice Natman, but I already set it back a stud and it wouldn't hold together if I changed it more. But if I redo it a third time, I'll be sure to follow your advice!

Holy bananas! This is fabulous! From the outside it seems plain and boring, but in the car entrance I love the checkered floor pattern, and throughout the rest it's great! The break room looks nice and comfy, the visitors room looks perfect, the toilets... I wouldn't want to go in. But all around, you did a fabulous job! It looks very detailed, maybe like you've been in there before! Great job!

Wow! I love it! Neat colors too! It's seems there's almost a US flag color pattern, but with a little yellow. I would imagine one of these cruising down in a parade! Though it is a police car, no?
-
Oh. That answers my questions. No matter how good my camera is, my photography skills are that of a blind monkey!
-
Yikes! That's incredible! I love it! And what a special little thing to have as a eurobricks member. Undoubtedly you'll keep one for yourself, won't you KimT?

When are we going to change our banner?
Darth Legolas replied to pr0visorak's topic in Forum Information and Help
You know it! It's an anniversary! One should at least be up for 3 days! By the way, off topic question: Does anyone have a list of all the Eurobricks banners? I've only seen one my entire time here, since it hasn't changed yet. -
So is my Freeco Bike approved for the contest? In my other topic you said I should look here! If so, should I put a background story to complete the entry?
-
And I have! New pictures, new bike here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=26352 Wait, so that means it's a valid contest entry???
-
And the piece of junk I'm talking about is not the model, it's that blasted camera! Joy to the world! Now, after taking much thought of what all you guys have said about the old one, here is my new, redone Freeco Bike! Now it doesn't look like much, but you will see, my Padawans! Here's the little grapple hook thingy. The pic axe was too big so I used two of the tool kit hammers. YOu know, the ones that come in circles and you pop em' out? The bottom, with exposed gun holder. Twin engines. "Hey, where's my windshield!?" Bird's eye. I made that republic insignia decal. And, that's about it. Comments, questions, Grand Moff Tarkin?

Very lovely vignette and very accurate Shaak Ti! Great job!
-
No, not kidding. These pictures stink like bleu cheese! (No offense to cheese lovers!) I am so psyched about posting new pictures. I'll start a new topic for the improved version because it's pretty different.
-
Awesome! Great idea for a mirror! I'm going to go find some place to buy shiny silver stickers.
-
And I can't wait to see that State Car! Welcome!

Personally, I'd just use it as a launcher to send my jet trooper straight into the Tank. "Ouch." It'll be fun, plus, we get a little more pieces then we expected so it's more of a value for money. But since it's shown no where else you might have to take apart the yank to make the stupid launcher! EDIT: Hoorah! Just watched a toyfair video from Count Blockula and it seems like the flinger comes separate! But if you did have to take apart the tank to make it, I'd instantly say "Not in a million zillion years!" But now I could use this maybe as a... uh... piece of ground that shoots up when a bomb hits!
-
Nope, and you're not the first person to ask. No one knows, and I don't care all too much considering the tank is meant to pilot itself! But since on the box picture in the back it showed nothing, then I don't think it does. BUT: On the back of the box, thanks for prompting me to look, we can see that just like on the AAT the guns are also flickfire missiles, and the set includes a fling launching pad to send the two Jet Troopers into the air! (With the good backpacks, and don't you forget it!)
