  1. He did say, "current parts." I think that means the current ones.
  2. Okay, I don't know if I'm supposed to post unapproved tutorials, but here's a few techniques to making the official TLG stickers come on perfectly, and of with no residue! To apply any TLG sticker, before you peel it off from the sheet, first make your proper measurements. If you're really clumsy, then use a pencil with an extremely good eraser, and make a dot on the center of the piece where you will apply the sticker. And then, line it up, and you instantly have a perfect application. If it's one of those crappy partially see-through stickers, in which when you look closely it seems a little ugly, you can always push down on it until it's vacuumed against the piece. Now, whenever you remove a sticker, you'd probably get this dark gray, ugly, dirt like glue residue. There is a simple way to get that off, and have your piece look like new. The first thing, right off the bat, is to not rub it with your thumb. It will just build up on the ends and make the piece sticky. First, use just a bit of scotch tape, and punch down and pull up over the junk. It won't remove it, but it will loosen it. Then, use rubbing alcohol and swab it all over the stuff. Now you rub with your thumb. After that, put the piece under running water. All dry? Okay, now here comes the most amazing part. Use regular white glue, I prefer Elmers, and spread it over the residue. When you rub, the white glue, which is stronger than the extremely weakened residue will pull it all up and get rid of it. White glue doesn't usually leave a trace that it was there, so it will just disappear. Finally, run it under water again, and then dry. Easy as that.
  3. Matches this perfectly: Really great job!
  4. God! All of you are making me EXTREMELY nostalgic! Yesterday, because I was looking for a strange compass piece on bricklink, I ended up looking through all of these old Adventurers sets! They bring back so many memories! And now THIS? This is torture! An excellent, excellent torture. Now because of you I'm going to go have to make a giant Adventures-bordering MOC! Curse you Johnny Thunder!!!!
  5. I'm confused... I watched through the whole video to see the MF break in half... I'm sorry, but what exactly happened?
  6. Let's start a petition! Who says, we band together, requesting a "Report Fraud" button on every uploaded image to Lego's website. If the link is clicked, the picture is removed until a full investigation is spread out. And the investigations are freaking easy. Just take the picture, and find the original source. The only problem is that, in a day, hhalf of the uploaded images will be missing due to the fraud button.
  7. To tell you the truth, the only thing I really loveabout this is the side artwork! I'd really love to have that on my Gunship! I like the rest of the ship, but the side decal is wicked awesome!
  8. Somebody better notify Lego! This kid is such a... I petty the people who commented. "Wow so cool!" God, what a liar.
  9. Ipods anyone? For a Lego office, a stapler and tape would be nice. Maybe some scissors too!
  10. Tank Dreads? It's a repulsorcraft! It doesn't drive on the ground, it hovers! like an AAT!
  11. Recently, I made a World War I pilot for my Tri-Plane, and I noticed something. There are no minifig scarves. I also realized that there are no such things as fat minifigs. And to my knowledge, there are no minifig forks or regular sized spoons. I am wondering, what other simple, do-able pieces do you thing Lego should make for minifigs?
  12. " While looking on brickset, i found news that said there would be an exclusive, limited time offer avalible on shop @ home on May 3rd and 4th celebrating 10 years of lego star wars. oh2.gif I was wondering if anybody else had heard this news, and if so knew anything about it." Anyways, I really wonder what it is... Just being me, I'm hoping it's a $2 bucket of 70 droids and 30 clones. (I need more droids!) But what it's more likely to be is a Chrome Vader with a purchase of X amount.
  13. Thanks for the comments! (Again!) I'm taking them all in a lot. I know the wings should be rectangular, but to tell you the truth, I simply found it easier this way. If you could give me some advice on how to fix the propellor I'd gladly do it. And to solve the Pilot problem, when you put him standing upright he'll be above eye level with the guns. I can simply mod on a strange sort of standing-up seat.
  14. I used black wagon wheels. It looks like elastic though, doesn't it? I feel bad, because I half-painted some other wheels before I realized I had these! @Nateman: It probably would've if i had the pieces in front of me! The longest part was the pictures. Thanks for the comments!
  15. Now, I've finally done it. The perfect MOC, with the perfect pictures. I'm hoping. Please don't look and leave, because I spent time doing this! It has an Indy Jones German Pilot, (with cooler pants,) but it's only in flesh because the torso isn't yellow! To begin, here's an angle shot. Front shot. Birds eye view, showing my two custom-printed Prussian Iron Crosses. Close up of the Cross. The wheels! The pilot. Yeah, no face mask. I thought it needed a little more red. Side view! Cockpit. Size comparison. And last but not least, gallery, when public. Please comment!
  16. Good MOC, I love the mountian, but why are there ads for the dumb test at the bottom of every picture???
  17. I was totally going to post this! Wait to beat me too it! I love this MOC! It's amazingly huge! Just the size of it! Wow.... And the basement... I wonder how many pieces it is!
  18. Ah, this was the set I got with my very first crocodile and Aztec Sun hat thingy. Sadly, I cannot find the boat, thoguh I think I saw it a few days ago... Thanks for the review!
  19. You want to put thumbnails in you signature that lead to this topic? There's a tutorial for that somewhere.... I don't even know how I did it!
  20. Mine's real tough. People get it wrong all the time. Most people think it's pronounced" Darth Le-Go-Las." It's really pronounced Sacajawea!
  21. He means pictures of the set you own. It's a pretty pointless review to show the official computer image. You need box pictures, and withing build pictures, and pictures of the angles. So, if you're interested in reviewing, then you should go to the Bonaparte's reviewers academy, where they teach you how to take good pictures, and make "worthy" reviews. I would give you a link, but my computer's being a pain and I'm lazy.
  22. Ahh, the classic western Alien! Nice job with this MOC! And...hehe... I may use it for inspiration. Good job!
  23. I can't really see much of it, and I want to inform you you posted this topic three times, here... here and here I'm sure the mods will close the duplicates, but I can't comment on this seeing as the pictures are a bit too blurry. The backwards helmet is a creative idea though!
  24. Yes, yes, yes! Starting with the outside, with tan/red maybe Columns for the front, and a minifig of the desintegrating German guy! (I don't know much about Indy Jones.) I can see the Grail Room now. In fact, anyone can make it! Just take your entire collection of Glasses, and put them into a room made of tan pieces. By the way, it was pretty obvious the really grail would be the old musty one. You've gotta be pretty dumb to go for the shiny, made yesterday one. And I'd love a minifig of that old guy who never dies. The Exo-Force and Jungle Cutter giant saw blade piece would go perfectly, and I'd love to see how TLG would come up with the camouflaged rock bridge! (That was genius!)
  25. You're right. It's too light. Obi-Wan hair might be closer to the right color but it looks completely wrong.
