  1. This is the most excited I have been for Lego since Lego Star Wars was released back in 1999. This is monumental and incredible, I cannot wait to get my hands on all the Marvel stuff - Iron Man, assuming his mask is slimmed from the prototype, is my most wanted figure. Robert Downey Jr. minifig!
  2. Tie Fighter looks solid, if it's less than 30 dollars I'll bite.
  3. Nope, I'm pretty sure that is what will happen - instead of doing something original, like making a Lego Mist Hunter with Zuckuss and 4-LOM, we shall get another Slave I within a few years - perhaps to coincide with the live action show, in which Boba will likely play a role - that has 4-LOM and Zuckuss thrown in. Sigh, Lego, sigh. There is honestly no reason why they can't delve into EU designs, since they forget the number 1 rule - if it's Star Wars Lego, and it's priced within reason...it's gonna sell. For that matter, the Mist Hunter is no longer than an X-wing - it could easily be a 40 or 50 dollar set and sell like hotcakes. But no, we shall get another 80 dollar Slave I...
  4. Love the size and the 4 seater cockpit - however, with no interior, it basically is - to me at least - a 260 dollar paperweight. I mean, c'mon - it's a shuttle. Interior is kind of the point...Would have preferred a smaller set with an actual shuttle component to a very pretty but very pricey UCS set.
  5. This could likely be Bane's "Speeder". Would rock if it came with any of the other bounty hunters!
  6. What. You would prefer a licensed theme instead of a classic? You are a heretic!!! I would absolutely prefer a licensed theme, I have wanted POTC Legos since the films and was disappointed with the bland Pirates 2009 theme. It had no flavor to it, just too dull. And POTC will offer much more interesting minifigs - here's hoping they do it like Indiana Jones and have a January wave with sets from films 1-3 and then a Spring wave for the new film.
  7. Awesome! I am glad the Pirates line is to be discontinued, the new look was far too bright and goofy, just uninteresting sets. I am really hoping that this will allow the arrival of a Pirates of the Caribbean IV theme - it's time for a decent licensed theme besides Star Wars (which less of a theme and more like the flagship line of the company). This is great news, I hope to have Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa minifigs in two years time...
  8. Wow, that set's great....if its 50 bucks! What a terribly overpriced sham - it has no true inside! The ISD was clunky but at least had a decent interior. This thing is a hunk of junk....I will be ignoring this one on the shelf.
  9. Ugh, I hate Toy Story and Pixar....passing on this license, just like Spongebob. And lord of the Rings. Now those would be good licenses.
  10. Tank Droid - -Looks schweet, will have to pick this puppy up. Echo Base - I really don't care about the Tauntaun, but all the troops are cool. Sep shuttle - OMG awesome. Nute Gunray and Onaconda Farr, plus more. That's just cool. Loved that shuttle ever since ROTS. Endor - looks really dull, hope the finished set will have more. I don't care for ewok catapults or yet another rehashed AT-ST. How about a TRUE bunker?
  11. Loved this set....great review, Hillary Clinton (but can you make Bill?) and the dream ending to CW season 1 (actually, my dream ending is A flash-forward to O66 and Vader killing her ) What I really want to know....is this set suffering from the 10 dollar pricejack often typical of TRU? Which would mean, is it availible for less at a LEGO brand store?
  12. Where do I begin... Celeste Morne, Zayne Carrick, Lucien Draay, Q'anilia, Raana Tey, Feln, Xamar, Alek Squinquargesimus, Haazen, Darth Revan, Darth Malak, Bastila Shan, Jolee Bindo, Darth Sion, Darth Nihilus, Darth Bane, Darth Zannah, Aayla Secura, K'Kruhk, Nahdar Vebb, A'Sharad Hett, Quinlan Vos, Dass Jennir, Kazdan Paratus, Shaak Ti, Maris Brood, Rahm Kota, Joruus C'Baoth, Jaina Solo, Anakin Solo, Saba Sebatyne, Corran Horn, Kyle Katarn, Darth Caedus, Lumiya, Tenel Ka, Cade Skywalker, Marasiah Fel, Roan Fel, Antares Draco, Ganner Krieg, Darth Krayt, Darth Wyyrlok, Darth Talon, Darth Maladi, Darth Stryfe, Darth Nihl, Azlyn Rae.
  13. Personally I prefer the twoheaded version, sinc eit echoes the TIE Bomber of the Old Trilogy.
  14. Design: Actually, I have to disagree here, this Vulture Droid Bomber looks a lot sturdier than its previous incanrations, and also is actually a nod to the Old Trilogy's TIE Bomber, which had two "cockpits", one with a pilot; while this has two "heads", one with eyes. Build: I've always liked LEGO's take on Vulture droids, so more of the same is not a bad thing. Playability: It's got nonflickfire missiles, that's all I need. Minifigures: The droid color schemes is a great thing IMO, plus, a 20 dollar set with three minifigs and a big ship is great by CW standards (V19 Piece-o-garbage, I'm looking at your massive price and one minifig ) Considering LEGO didn't have to include any droids at all....three BDs raises this set to almost battlepack proportions. Price: This set actually goes under the 'standard' 10 cents a part, so that's great for a licensed set. The heavy amount of stickers can surely be problematic for some, I apply them though, although I would prefer printed. IMO, this set complments Ahsoka's starfighter well, for you get a a great balue with this set and then it averages out with the slightly pricejacked Ahsoka's ship. Two Vultures and a Jedi Starfighter, along with Ahsoka a bunch of droids, and that's a pretty good haul for total $60
  15. This set is so awesome! I never got Ahsoka (why would I pay $100 for her in a flying dumpster when for the same price I could get the AAT and Fighter Tank for an epic battle?), so this set is very welcome. I will be getting this and the Hyena at the same time, so the $10 price jack kind of averages out due to the awesomness of the Hyena (3 orange BDs and a massive bomber for $20?!). Plus, the asdtromech is the most novel one yet, very cool. Very pleased with this set, will pick it up ASAP!
  16. Without a sail, it does look odd, but with the likely inclusion of Magnaguard(s) and a fleshie Dooku, this set is a winner for me. Plus I'm a sucker for anything Geonosian-built. And my birthday's in February.
  17. Too cool! I just have to find these in the States before Christmas.
  18. Kahuka for sure!!! Island natives are cool.
  19. Over here in the states, it has been pretty customary in the past several years for January sets to be availible several weeks early, by mid-December, just in time for Christmas. However, I talked to a Lego Store employee, who claimed that "everything that is coming out for this year is out, and if anything new is coming, it won't be put out until January 2nd" (not exact quote). This is very distressing, as I don't want the 'flying dumpster' Twilight or overpriced RGS for Christmas - I'm much more excited for the AAT, Hyena, Ahsoka's starfighter...has anyone had any info to the contrary? I hope these will be find-able in the States before the new year... Edit:Question moved here
