  3. I'm looking for a nurse or 2 to complete my set. i wouldnt mind another wrestler too but want a nurse first. I can offer cheerleader, cowboy, skater, robot, astranaut, diver. all are sealed maybe a few more as i'll probably buy another few over the weekend I'm in the UK so looking for someone also from UK.
  4. the only one i am missing now is the nurse. in the UK everywhere has them behind the counter so its not easy to pick them.
  5. i cannot seem to find it, any hints?!
  6. thanks for the calendar scan, very useful!!!
  7. from 3 medium sized (£25-£40) orders 1st (before increase): 2 items wrong, replaced quickly. 2nd (before increase): none wrong. 3rd (after increase then decrease): 1 missing (1x1 tile which i just ignored )
  8. make the plastic bags that the bricks are packed in out of corn starch instead of oil. and smaller boxes.
  9. im jealous of your pab selection i've found that the lids are out in blue water in UK, in MK they gave me one while i was filling it, so im sure you could ask for one while picking. and they usually put a sticker to reuse the tub and get a discount so you would have the lid then.
  10. big grey slopes to make rocks that arent BURPS is my biggest wish. more rare colours
  11. thanks usernameinvalid, do you know if the £10 voucher has a minimum spend on it?
  12. blue water has a larger selection than milton keynes. i visited both within the same month and there was very little overlap between the two as well. the holes in the wall in blue water are smaller as well, so MK is wasting lots of space that they could use for a better selection.
  13. seems strange that they let it miss the easter weekend which would of been good sales for it.
  14. great news. still seems to be some 'rogue' high prices (e.g. angular brick, 1x4 brick), but i can accept this if they are pieces which genuinly cost more to make than others.
  15. Its not a mistake based on the email i just got from them grrr im angry it really doesnt justify the price increase to any reason discussed here so its just pure greed and taking advantage of us Can you imagine any 'real' shop saying to its customers 'hey we just doubled what we stock so enjoy our doubled prices'
  16. i pan using shift and right mouse button then drag with both pressed ... or is that not what you mean
  17. Brilliant the colour works so well, I never thought i'd say that about yellow! Also love the little wall of safe boxes inside sorry about bumping a month old thread but i saw the photo in your sig and had to give you the
  18. shipping is expensive, i have heard about someone who bought a christmas present of the passenger train and then their kid changed its mind, it cost almost half as much as the set to return it by parcel force from UK > Germany. The best way would be if you visit here and then go to a lego shop, would be limited by suitcase size though and is only cheaper if you actually want to visit. Or if someone is visiting Germany from UK.
  19. I always found bricklink expensive, ive never found say 2 or 3 sellers (postage!) who has enough of all the various pieces im after. maybe its because they are commonly used pieces which are usually in low quantity in sets. e.g. large grey plates, grey bricks etc. Surely lego make more money selling direct than through a middleman who buys the sets in bulk when on sale to resell, so i dont see why they would want us to go via bricklink. But they are giving us mixed messages, on one hand they are supporting PAB by the increased number of pieces, and on the other they are pricing it so that it could end up dieing which would take LDD with it.
  20. I hope the outrageous pick a brick price increases as discussed in general forum can be raised through this. for someone ordering 2 pieces to replace a lost item it wont matter to them but for people like us or anyone using LDD its crazy.
  21. i just sent them an email, please everyone do the same if you feel strongly about this. its really annoyed me that im wondering to even bother about my plans for a large(ish) modular town as it will cost too much now. UK prices are up between 70% and 120% on each item, its shocking. and still no bulk discount, it must be cheaper for them to pick out multiples of the same piece! I made an order 2 days ago, it would now cost almost the same as cafe corner but has less pieces than the creator beach house.
  22. have you seen the prices 1x4 brick that was 12p is now 22p cheese tiles were 6p are now 15p every item has gone up by similar extortionate amounts. i feel they are taking advantage of the fans who use this to order hundreds of pieces at a time
