Cool idea! I'd been trying to get some decent quality screen grabs from the new game footage for the destroyer build so might spur me on. If anyone has any good links please let me know...

Well, here's Hulk finished... http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9731562859 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9731551493 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9731577445 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9731579069 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9731580647 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9731582365 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9734822490 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9734737726 Just got Thor to do on the reverse side now. Thinking of his hammer in the rock with shield and hawkeye present and maybe him being hit by the van but not sure... Anyone have any suggestion?? PS - more storyboards on my Flickr account...

Cheers mate. Been working on 'Banner's lab accident'/'Thor's landing' this week, halfway there!
-
Thanks, I always missed that not being in the films. Just started work on my Thor/Hulk origin scenes... any suggestions?
-
Thanks, of course not, go for it! PS- you'll need a stud under the helmet for it to fit with the armour. Yeah, i was looking at that too as well as Thor's hammer on the rocks above. Maybe getting hit by the van...

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Totally agree, that would be an awesome set and you're right, don't want a dumbed down Mansion at all, i want at least a half decent cerebro room with tiled interior (i can dream/mod!)... It's probable that they'll do a line of GotG as it's likely to be very bold and visual so perfect for LEGO. If so i'd expect a new version just like they did with TDK etc. Lookinh forward to that wave along with the other MCU phase 2's. -
@Ham17 Thanks man, appreciate it. @becauseBATMAN Really appreciate your support, makes us new comers/builders feel welcome. :)

[MOC] Arkham Asylum Expansion [Modular-style Add-on]
kissyfur_ok replied to becauseBATMAN's topic in LEGO Licensed
Love the details, especially Harley's room, the Bane experimentation and the Freeze modifications: All perfect! I've pretty much left mine untouched up until now as it looks like it can be enhanced and improved successfully. Thanks for sharing! -

I'm expexting a Marvel set for sure. An X-Mansion makes the most sense to me because we're expecting more X-sets anyway, it could easily follow a similar layout to Arkham (ornate and detailed exterior/playable and varied interior) and because the Wolverine and DOFP films are in full hype-mode now (just like TDK trilogy was with Batman sets and MCU with the Marvel sets) so TLG can be confident in the awareness and popularity, even though they're not direct movie versions due to licensing. They could quite easily make a couple of rooms/scenes too; a section of Cerebro, a classroom, part of the danger room and a hallway or something, much like the variation seen in Arkham. And then there's the minifigs! Xavier, Logan, Cyclops, Storm, Beast... Loads to choose from and any would be relevant to the set. They could even do the jet and a sentinel within or seperate from the set as both will be movie relevant too and add the usual vehicle and mech builds. I really think this is more likely than a slightly 'un-playable/caveless' Wayne Manor or 'too-long-since-movie' Stark Tower/Hellicarrier (despite me being more than willin to pay a hefty amount for either!). The Avengers and JLA HQ's are just too unknown at the moment to expect one this/next year IMO. I'm desperate to see the comicon minifigs so we can stop speculating on the next wave and get excited!!! I'm so impatient... -
I'm sure others have shared the same experience i've just had of starting out making a slightly modified version of a build and ending up completely altering it past recognition... I give you my MO[C/D] Batboat: http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071747638 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071749042 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071804878 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071808202 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9069584453 Comments and suggestions welcome...

[MOC] Damian Wayne's Pride [Battle of the Robins]
kissyfur_ok replied to becauseBATMAN's topic in LEGO Licensed
Brilliant, scene-capturing MOC as always! -
I got the hull from the TMNT set which I seem to be pilaging for parts lately as the minifigs seem more of interest... Here's mine; As i said, still a WIP and I''ve rebuilt twice since this photo so more just to give you an idea. I'm struggling to incorporate the screen properly at the minute... http://www.flickr.com/photos/96587844@N07/9008694046/ I'm working on bulking the back end up at the minute and smoothing the surfaces but let me know if you can suggest anything...

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Over the moon with my Jor El I got yesterday... just wish LEGO would do some kind of Krypton set so I don't have to use my 'Cap on Ice MOC' to display them ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/96587844@N07/8971890079/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/96587844@N07/8972092569/ -
Snap! I was working on the exact same thing yesterday as I ended up with three Seaport sets in total thanks to my armoury. I managed to switch all the dark green to black and went with one 'fin' instead of two, but very similar look to yours. I'll post some photos later and see if we can combine any ideas as mine is almost there but would welcome your advice if you don't mind?

They could do the heads like the TMNT range and just have the kids with hobbit legs for scale. If they were to do a range i would imagine there'd be 5 key set possibilities; - Simpson house set complete with sofa, TV, Maggie, Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge and Santa's Little Helper. Plus family car if LEGO go with vehicles ('if'... Haha) - Moes with Barney, Moe, Homer, Lenny and Karl - Power Plant with 'Nuclear Rod', hazmat suit Homer, Burns and Smithers - School Classroom including chalk board, skateboards, Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, Skinner and Willie - Kwik-E-Mart with Apu, Slurpy's and a few other town-folk including one Simpson These are arguably the most recognised and used locations so i think we could expect them in a first wave. Especially scenes that feature in the opening credits...
