  1. wow this looks great, very well detailed... man you pound out these dioramas like theres no tomorrow
  2. Pellaeon-Class Star Destroyer - as seen in the Legacy Era comics. updated 9/16/13 - Here is a short video that I've thrown together. Its now about 95% complete. Some more greebling and filling in some gaps and it should be finished. (no glue or non-Lego parts were used)
  3. thanks for your kind words... the entire hull of the ship consists of of 2x8, 2x6, 2x4, 2x2 black bricks and 2x3 inverted slopes, there close to 700 inverted slope bricks on the hull alone, its very sturdy but also extremely heavy, i cannot move the ship by myself, the upper decks simply rest on the ship itself, these are some early photos, the ship has been heavily modified since then and im still working on making it look more accurate to the design from the comics
  4. looks great, very well detailed and accurate. I love large scale MOC starships... so much to look at. I def agree with you, theres a bunch of rebel medium-size and large capital ships, Lego has yet to make one outside of tantive IV
  5. great diorama! i loved this show when I was a kid, it had a great visual style the animators called "Dark Deco" i think... i hope to see another Batman TAS MOC from you in the future great work.
  6. This looks just amazing, a great creation to display. The photo with the girl is cute too. Surprised how big the walker actually is. It also hurts my head to think about how you guys designed those legs and what parts are needed. Even if I tried I don't think I would have been able to create them properly. Great work!
  7. yup, I agree you can tell they are running out of ideas but then again Lego has really hit every major vehicle, starship and location, shown in the classic films outside of the mon calamari cruisers and the random speeders show around mos eisley
  8. about 9 months & $1500 dollars worth of bricklink orders... i actually just started working on this again making some more adjustments and touch-ups,
  9. yea, your best bet is bricklink, the sets containing 3-4 stormtroopers are out of production and overpriced so buying them loose is the way to go. Be patient and check back often and every once a while you'll get a bargain. I've gotten about 50 stormtroopers this way, it just takes time.
  10. nice work... its looks great behind the x-wing, spot on
  11. wow they really went all out on Poggle the Lesser doesn't even look like a Lego, and loads of detailing on him... nice
  12. im sure people have mentioned this before but Lego has to finish the bounty hunter collection with releasing Zuckuss and 4-Lom... why they weren't included in the UCS Executor I don't understand a Death Star gunner would be sweet and I would love to see Lego release a bunch of sets based on Shadows of the Empire, Dash Rendar, Xizor, the Skyhook battlestation etc. would be great
  13. this looks great.. love the swampy/industrial look
  14. finally finished.. thanks everyone
  15. This has to be one of the best SW creations on the net... It's by far my favorite and well beyond any other type of Star Destroyer builds that I've seen previously. The detailing is amazing and the plate and panel work give it a great Lego feel while still looking like a large model. I love how it looks big, thick, and bulky, the way Lego ships should look.
  16. yup... I am gonna use classic grey pieces for the stands and have the UCS decal plate attached to the front stand. Thanks for the good words everyone!
  17. thanks for positive feedback everyone its almost done!... I edited the top post with new pics
  18. come a long way but finally finished... enjoy length 63 inch height 23 inch width 30 inch pieces - roughly. 11,000 no glue, metal, or non lego parts used because the ship is entirely black and given its size I'm having a tough time taking good photos of it.... For the UCS sticker, as of now, I am using a drawing I edited of the ship rather than my lego model itself until I figure something out...
