  1. Thanks for the kind words everyone. i'm glad some liked the WIP shots. It was fun making them aswell. Expect more on future projects. @Teddy; That was the least I could do I think. I won't be taking any pictures of buildings together untill the entire university is complete. And that might take a while longer since I'm thinking of adding two more structures to the build.
  2. As you may have seen I have announced in the WIP topic of this build that I am ready. The build took me about 5 months on and of with a peak in the Christmass break. It measures about 85 cm side to side, making it just to big to fit through the doors with ease. Still I am very pleased with it and won't change that in the near future. This is the major part of the Great Hall. The place where the wizards w(h)ine and dine. As usual there is no interior. The place is bigger on the inside then the outside. Some pictures: the official first pic The hubwards view showing the main entrance. You can see my new Archchancellor Ridcully in front. The back wall, facing The Backs. Ridcully and the two engineering consultants Teddy (l) and blueandwhite ®. More on flickr, MOCpages and brickshelf (when moderated, the progress of the entire Unseen University is viewable though).
  3. Finally added various Discworld characters by Sam Vimes Sorry about the delay
  4. The final bricklink order came in today. So after months of work the last tiles have been layed. Now to find time and proper weather so I can take some pictures and start editing them. It will be presented in the near future by the, improved (at least I think so), Archchancellor Mustrum Ridcully.
  5. Beautiful work guys. This is putting medieval fantasy to the map. Huge castle and the cave at the end is my favorite with the grave to top it off.
  6. Thanks for all you have done for the communaty. Sail the seas in peace.
  7. I am still developing the characters and changing the parts. Most will require extra bricklink orders. But they will be done in the near future. Thanks for the compliment and your support.
  8. Last week I took the time to work on the outer wall and I think I now have the effect I was looking for. A major grey wall with some accents. In the same time I started tiling and am now waiting for yet another last batch of bricklink orders. There are more 1x1 tiles needed then I thought. Maybe actually counting what I need may help in the future instead of just guessing. Final 6 pictures are on brickshelf. No more WIP shots, the next ones will be of the finished build. Thanks to Teddy and blueandwhite for their support.
  9. Oh, I know guys. And it is highly apprecited. I think I simply got cought in the pattern trap. While avoiding the same way of positioning the three bricks, the three bricks as a whole came up to regular. In the mean time I am letting it all soak in untill the final bricklink orders arrive for the roof and tiling. After that I will reposition the clusters in a different way that is for sure, but still maintain the used colors. I like'm. My intention is to have another look at the building and look for 'natural' breaklines. For instance near a bay window where a wall might have cracked under the weight and so on. Added to that will come several other lone bricks and presto.
  10. No, it's a H-D factory custom part. I only saw them once in a catalogue and was fortunate enough to find it on e-bay.
  11. Just wanted to show my new horn cover.
  12. Thanks, that was what I am looking for. Maybe a revised edition will appear.
  13. Look what you made me do. I will keep the extra colours together but I think keeping it to two, random, colours makes all the difference I need. Thanks for the suggestion. It is better now.
  14. I'm very excited since this project is coming to an end. The plan for the tiling of the entrance is ready. Now just to wait for the tiles to arrive. And the left wing is finshed. The update of the last few dates is ofcourse in the Brickshelf folder. On to the right wing, main roof and entrance....
  15. Now the story will begin to reveal itself... Nice work again.
  16. Looking good again. I think putting them in the new post would be usefull.
  17. Great flame job. Mine fall apart on the second flame. Great work. Keep it up.
  18. Several bricklink orders have arrived and I have made some progress. The cornerstones have been renewed and the stained glass as well More work has been done to the roofs and chimneys and the small addon tower. Al in the brickshelf folder
  19. Great stuff Dr Jones. Looking forward to the next episodes.
  20. Excellent work! Really love it. But you better create a topic of your own for these. I will put in a link to the topic then in the first post. This way this topic will not flood with MOC's. thanks.
  21. The plan for now is to wait untill I have finished (and started) a bridge over the Ankh. then I will bring all the water down to the level of Ankh-Morpork. If I can get that low.
  22. The latest update after 3 months of collecting enough bricks to continue. The full coverage on Brickshelf
  23. Well the season is officially over for me. It is snowing right now. This will mean to much stuff on the raoads my bike won't like. See ya next year.
