  1. Thanks for the information, guys - I'll have to go and check this out. At my Brand Store, all the Exo-Force sets are at full price...
  2. I voted Knights' Kingdom. The sets were more solid this war than last year, and I prefered Vladek's Dark Fortress to the Viking Fortress, if only by a little. And I actually prefered the Knights' Kingdom minifigs to the Viking minifigs, but yet again, only by a little. However, whilst the Vikings are a great line, Knights' Kingdom still wins.
  3. Well, I got this set, and I must say...it's worth every penny! The skeletons are awesome, the winged angel(?) is gonna be very useful, Voldermert's head will definately come in handy, and that gate is also pretty cool. :^D *twisted* *devil* Overall, I think that the standard of Lego has really improved in 05. Whilst there haven't been that many Harry Potter sets this year, they have been of a very high quality. I hope this quality continues throughout all Lego themes in 06.
  4. Oh...my...god! :oD This new sets look absolutely amazing. The Knights have better armour, improved heraldry, more interesting weapons, oh man, I'm gonna have to get one of these as soon as they come out! Man, KK2 just keeps getting better and better...Congrats to Lego! Let's just hope that these awesome designs survive the translation to the minifig sets...
  5. Royal Knights forever. They had great figs, a stunning castle, and a great concept overall. Did I how mention how cool the Royal King was? A close second was the Dark Foresters, and the Black Knights came in at third. Though KK2 would've won instantly if I had been there. *satis*
  6. That was me. ;) As for KK2, I can't see much changing in the way you want within the next five years or so. All your ideas would be great in a more advanced Castle theme; but KK2 is aimed at little kids who loved the "cool" fighting in LOTR and want more of it. I just can't see it changing much in the future, I'm afraid. Yes, this is the sort of theme that would work, instead of trying to adapt KK2.
  7. I'd like to see a crossover between Vikings and Knights' Kingdom. Here's a few ideas: :o Santis Versus The Viking Chief: Small, compact set, featuring Santis and Viking with horse. Danju's Prison: Small, compact set, featuring Danju and Knight, with a prisoner in a jail cell, and a Viking trying to spring him loose. Knights and Vikings: Minifig pack, with two Vikings, two Knights and a horse. Talonjay Defense: Medium sized set, with a castle wall defended by two Knights, Jayko and attacked by three Vikings and a small boat. Carriage Ambush: Medium sized set, with a horse-drawn carriage featuring the King, Rascus, and a Knight, and four Vikings and a falling tree trap. Sea Charger: Large sized set, with a big Viking ship, complete with two levels, above and below, with a jail cell, a ballista, and three oarsmen, with four Vikings, a Viking Chief, and a Knight prisoner. Castle Invasion: Large sized set, featuring all four Hero Knights, the King and two ordinary Knights, and the Castle of Morcia, with two levels, along with a jail cell and catapult, also with a Viking Chief and two Vikings and a ballista attacking the Castle. Ohhh...that'd be sweet.
  8. Alhough I do like Bionicle, I prefer System. Which is why I'm happy about the Bionicle System sets. ;)
  9. I'd say Vladek's Dark Fortress. It's he biggest Castle set ever released, has more minifigs than the Viking Fortress Against The Fafnir Dragon, (six Vikings to eight Knights) and has a better colour scheme. Plus, it has those totally awesome rainbow Knights. ;)
