  1. You're not the only one. Seems like every tribe on Bara Magna thinks the Sand Tribe members are nothing more than animals not capable of anything but beastly activities and uncapable of emotions. Poor Vorox. They're not beasts. They're near beasts. Big difference. At least they still have the Zesk when they need a hug.
  2. Even if the Skrall were with far less, it doesn't make their victory impossible. Remember that the Skrall are trained and organized soldiers, the Vorox are savages who don't fight organized like the Skrall. It's like the Romans versus the Barbarians from Germania or Galia. Sure the barbarians were at time with far more than the romans yet the romans still won, cause they were organized and had strategy. Numbers don't mean everything, like the chapter proved.
  3. I feel sorry for those poor, cute Vorox. They seemed so sad. They need a Zesk to hug em.
  4. Meh, the way Greg said it, can't say I disagree with him. We're a bunch of bastards. Ungrateful ones at that.
  5. I've been along long enough in different shapes and forms to know that it does make one seem immature. There's nothing wrong with writing 'you' instead of 'u' or 'I' instead of 'i'. It takes a second more and is so much easier to read. If a person can't either bother to do that, why should we bother with his/her post? Make it readable first. You perhaps might not give a damn about putting what you learn at school to good use, but I prefer to not kill a language every time I post, thank you very much.
  6. That's pretty rude of you right there as well. If you can do it better, please do go offer your services to LEGO. And personally, I wouldn't take critisism lightly and seriously of a guy who can't spell either. Greg's not the best no, but he really shouldn't listen to that topic starter either. His reasons for leaving, however, are silly, yes.
  7. Indeed, it's up and Greg already pulled a bore and killed a character we never knew that well. What a waste. But Vezon's fate is... interesting. =p
  8. I still think learning people skill is not a waste of time. It's because he lacks those he's in the mess he's in now. We really can't say if Mata Nui knows what the right thing to do is or not, or what he will think of that when he does have some real life friends, when he does experience how it is to be 'normal'. I wouldn't underestimate this. Ignika and Mata Nui aren't really that different (besides in mind), IMO. Well, we'll see, won't we? Future storyline will tell us what Mata Nui really is like. Regardless of him knowing what the right thing to do is or not, I still think he'll be a bit overconfident or rash because he's used to being all powerful.
  9. But we know Mata Nui really didn't care that much about his people. Remember the Barraki? Sure, I'd doubt he'll allow for Teridax to continue what he's doing, but the question does arise, what will Mats do? Remember Toa Ignika? He wasn't jumping to give up his life either, but when he remembered Matoro, he understood what he had to do. Who does Mata Nui have to do that? Himself? His own actions caused his own downfall, and he knows it (Greg confirmed this for me). Does Mata Nui have somebody he admires, who he learns from, like Ignika had Matoro? Ignika truly enjoyed being a Toa, and didn't wish to give up that life at first. It took Gali and Matoro to make him do the right thing. But Mata Nui? Mata Nui is not perfect. He too can be tempted by putting himself first, the others second. It's like Matoro in the Kingdom. And it took that Matoro 10 000 years to redeem himself. Teridax actually had a point. Mata Nui was alone, all the time, and cared little for what went on inside of him as long as he could keep functioning. If anything, his time in the Ignika can be a time spent usefully on coming to understand the importance of friendship and caring for those who rely on you, caring in the sense of more than just supplying heat and gravity. Mata Nui needs to learn a lot of lessons, me thinks, and his exile can teach him just that. So who knows, when he gets his body back, maybe Mata Nui will have changed and be really worthy of all the Matoran honour him for. For we all know it, Mata Nui is far from perfect. When he gets back, he'll need a friend, like Teridax has Helryx, so he'll never be alone again. He needs to care more for what goes on inside of him, and not just his job and functioning. Makes me wonder if the Great Beings didn't place too much pressure on Mata Nui's once broad shoulders. It's all my opinion, though. I just like a bit of dilema between friendship and being alone for the good cause.
  10. I remember Greg telling me this about Mata Nui's personality and Mata Nui with a MoL-body. Judging from that, I kinda don't see Mata Nui shouting cheesy lines. I expect something Toa Ignika-like from him, the difference between Toa Mata Nui and Toa Ignika being that Toa Mata Nui knows what emotions are but never was able to act on them because he was so big before, while the Ignika did not know what emotions were at all and had to learn both what they were and how to act upon them. I'm thinking Mata Nui might actually be very rash or overconfident, because he's so used to being all-powerful. That would be nice. Most of all, I'm hoping for a deeper character for Mata Nui, like Toa Ignika was. It may just be me, but I found the idea of a Toa Ignika fascinating and probably the most daring step Bionicle took so far (yes, even more daring than Teridax taking over), because it essentially dealt with: What is life? What are emotions and how do you handle them? I want Mata nui to be the same. Greg kinda proved it, Mata Nui never had time for emotions, now he does. Anybody here having the same feeling as me that being trapped inside the Mask of Life might not be that bad at all for Mats? He can now, after all, lead a life he never could before, the life as a normal-sized being with a chance for friends. I'm kinda hoping for a dilema within Mata Nui about getting his real body back or not getting it back.
  11. These clearer summer canister pictures clearly show Mata Nui's 2008-ish Ignika. Yay! :)
  12. I'm just no fan of vehicles, IMHO they are not very Bionicle-ish. I disliked them last year, same now. Why can't we get some cool beasts again, like Muaka and Kane-Ra, or a Kardas-like set (never got that one, unfortunately)? Would be so much more fun in my opinion than another hi-tech vehicle LEGO makes in almost every of its lines. They might be a nice build, but design-wise and Bionicle-wise they fail for me. Except for Skopio, as it's more a creature-vehicle than a humanworldish vehicle. I wish we got some sets like the ideas here, warwagons pulled by animals, it would suit Bara Magna as we know it now better, IMHO. These vehicles kinda ruin the whole 'low technology' thing LEGO tried to convince me of. But aside from the dissapointing vehicles, the canister sets look good once more in summer. I'll buy those for sure. I need my Gold Ignika.
  13. Those vehicles are fail, fail, fail. Low technology, my behind! Only Skopio whatever looks like a potential buy. The Ignika on the bottom of the pages is indeed win, though.
  14. Very, very interesting serial indeed. Already blows every 2008 serial out of the water. So we now know why the Skrall do what they do and who Tuma is (well, a bit at least). What I found interesting is Tuma mentioning "the book of Cervatus". I've heard that before... but where?
  15. Well, even if it is a new mold, it's practically identical to the 2008 Ignika and that's the most important thing. I can live with a plusrod on a different place.
  16. Could it perhaps be that the summer sets have new heads akin to the Glatorian heads? (Fully transparent, I mean.) One where the Ignika can fit on?
  17. Or a Mata one! I still have a spare one here with icy blue eyes, what luck! :p
  18. I was under the impression Glatorian heads and Kanohi Masks don't match, at least, judging from my Zesk...
  19. YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! x 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999 2008 IGNIKA ON MATA NUI! YES! YES! YES! THE SET IS FROM NOW ON WIN WHATEVER LEGO PUTS ON IT FOR IT HAS A 2008 IGNIKA! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And okay, I'm cool again. No, really, nice find. Blue eyes look surprisingly good on the Gold/Brownish/Tanish/Whateverish Ignika. PS: 2008 IGNIKA ON MATA NUI! YES! YES! YES! :p
  20. I just bought Zesk. All Agori are out here, though the Glatorian and Fero&Skirmix will only come out in March... And Tuma isn't even in the catalogue, meaning he won't appear in shops here... Zesk is cutesy in plastic! I love him, so cute. Very expensive, though, and hard to pose.
  21. I hope Mata Nui looks like a cross between those two versions, the map-picture and blury-scan picture, I mean. The blurry scan has better colours, the map-picture has an overall (aside from head, neck and ankles) better design. Oh, and a Gold 2008 Ignika is still a must. But meh, I'm still gonna be pessimistic and say Mata Nui is just going to dissapoint.
  22. I agree. I am afraid he's gonna be the dissapointment of the century.
  23. Couldn't Toa Mata Nui just have, you know, a Metru Head? I mean, he was the first and only set where story came before the set, so a Glatorian head on Toa Mata Nui would not make sense, story-wise. A Metru head or even Mata head would be much more fitting for Mata Nui...
  24. White Teridax is cool, but I bet Greg's just gonna kill him off next year. What a waste. Aside from that, the last BIA was awesome. The Great Beings are great. It would, however, be very interesting if White Teridax stayed alive until Mata Nui reclaims his universe and then carry out the task the real Teridax was supposed to carry out. But the chances of Greg doing that are zilch.
  25. Meh, if you think you guys' shops are bad, it's worse here in Belgium. Never, ever, did I see Rockoh T3 or Axalara T9 or Takanuva ANYWHERE in ANY shop. Jetrax all you want, but the rest? Nope. And for Toa Ignika, I had to search 6 months before I found him in a little corner in a shop. Maxilos and Spinax? I had to wait until 2008 before I found them in shops. And I bet you either Tuma or Fero&Skirmix will be nowhere to be found as well. Finally I just gave up and decided to order my sets online. I got Takanuva that way, and had him within 5 days. That's service. Really, it seems like Bionicle is dissapearing everywhere in this stupid little country. =/
