  1. Hi, I was wondering if anyone wanted the Naboo Starfighter Ultimate Collector Series edtion (set #10026). It's new in the sealed box, and there is a sticker attached that I haven't taken off due to it might damaging it. Here's a stock photo (I''ll give a pic of the real one if anyone wants it when I pick up my camera soon): So just name what you would be willing to trade for. I'm looking for the old AAT's (7155) preferably new in box but doesn't have to be. Also interested in any Clone and battle droid minifigs and anything else Star Wars besides Clone Wars sets (except for Clone Walker battle packs). Thanks for looking!
  2. Thanks everyone, especially rriggs for the info. As I said I was mainly just curious, don't think I'll ever use them but you never know.
  3. There may be different rules and regulations, but why doesn't TLG feel the need to put the number of pieces on every box? It just doesn't make sense, seeing as that bit of information is vital in me purchasing a set or not (and may be for others as well).
  4. I just keep my smaller ones in one of those big ziploc bags, roughly arranged by size. The bigger ones I just have stacked...somewhere. I really should get more organized like you other people.
  5. I recently bought a bulk bag of LEGO on ebay for cheap; earlier today while I was sorting them I came across some unusual pieces I hadn't seen before, and I was wondering if anyone knew what sets they came from/how useful they are. They probably aren't that rare since most of the pieces I have are just regular old bricks, but I was curious where they may have come from. So without further ado, the pictures: Mystery Brick #1: -Some type of windscreen, maybe from a camper? Mystery Brick #2: -Technic piece, still being used? Mystery Brick #3: -Not sure why they would need to attach something like this on a standard brick. Mystery Brick #4: -Looks like some type of support beam, maybe used in old construction sets? Mystery Brick #5: -Somewhat useful, better ways to achieve the same thing now. Mystery Brick #6: -Odd cheat piece for SNOT? Mystery Brick #7: -It's thicker than a standard technic piece and with a smaller hole. Mystery Brick #8: -Possibly used in trains, small metal connectors can be seen underneath. Any ideas? By the way, they all have the LEGO stamping so no imposter bricks.
  6. Hi everyone, I'm planning on doing a MOC that involves some trees, so I'm in need of the plant leave 6x5 piece like this: Normal green and dark green is desired for the color, but I'd be willing to take bright green as well. I'd rather trade for them but can buy through PayPal if I have to. So just let me know if you have any, what you want in return and I'll see what I can do.
  7. I don't understand why the battle packs are so rare; I've been to Toys R Us, 2 Target's, 3 Walmart's, and Kmart and have yet to see one. Are they only being sold in specific stores?
  8. I don't understand the choice of color scheme; I never saw the Clone Wars movie, but were the AAT's in there dark blue? To me it seems a dark tan color scheme would have been better.
  9. Where is the US Toy Fair held? Was this the same event that the Castle Marketplace was shown? I remember there was a sneak peak of that set at an event like this.
  10. Brickingham, that's an awesome name for a town. That's a great set up you have there, that's how I always imagined a great LEGO city to look like. PS that cornfield is sweet.
  11. Sent a PM about a possible trade.
  12. If it's not too late or if something happens to the other trade, I'm interested in the mermaid, speederbike, and Governor's daughter. I'll send a PM.
  13. Wow, it sure has. Too bad, I was going to order a couple of them too. It seems like a lot of the Castle sets are selling out on S@H, so better get them while you can.
  14. Haha thanks xenologer, I may order that one (I even like the color scheme better!). Only problem is I won't have printed instructions, but I can live without that. Anyone know why they released another Mini Tie Fighter when they already had one (3219)?
  15. I like the figs as well, but the stickers are a deal breaker for me. If I see it on sale somewhere I'll pick it up, but otherwise I'm in no rush.
  16. Yeah, for the actual sets it might be better to go the brick-and-mortar route; I know S@H has the Crossbow Attack set on clearance, so maybe you could pick up a few of those from there. Since most of the sets you want are still in production, trying to buy them yourself may be the best thing to do.
  17. Hah that sounds pretty neat, may need to try that. How do you attach the fishing line to the ceiling though? Like everyone else, that darned dust is a real problem. I've tried buying some display cases from ebay, but those are usually smaller (for minifigs and whatnot). The larger ones are way out of my price range, so I guess dust will have to be a necessary evil for the time being.
  18. Agreed, I read a story somewhere that online retailers are doing everything they can to sell which at the very least includes free shipping. I guess with all us AFOL's, TLG isn't hurting in this current economic state.
  19. Alright no problem, I'm not in any rush. Just let me know if you can/for what.
  20. Golden chest sounds great since I don't collect the Indy sets and they seem to be most prevalent in those. Capes are also good, though I was hoping to see maybe a dwarf or two somewhere in the sets.
  21. Agreed, and especially when the stores mark up the prices even more than the MSRP *coughTRUcough*. During the holiday season I saw the impulse sets pop up at stores like Walmart and Target, but before that I had rarely seen them in stores. They are useful, but me personally I never buy more than 1 or 2 of the same one.
  22. An Arctic theme would be great; never collected the other one due to my dark age, so maybe they could bring it back in a few years; when did they stop making the old Arctic theme? It took them about 10-12 years for the Pirates to come back, so that may be a good timetable.
  23. Wonderful write-up and great review of the whole theme; like someone else, this series came out while I was still in my dark age so it's nice to get some background on it. I did acquire a Yeti later on (which is great), and I'd love to get my hands on an elephant one day. Oh and six Sam Sinister minifigs, that's pretty funny.
  24. PM sent a couple days ago with what I have, did you get it UsernameMDM? Just checking something screwy didn't happen.
  25. Great review, but I still think I'm gonna pass even with the reduced price; as you said, it's pretty much just a big brown box, and if I want Jawas that bad I'll by them off ebay or something.
