  1. Is a Grand Potion necessary? Won't a Potion suffice since he's only down 10 HP?
  2. Xander distracts Skeleton Mage B by shooting an arrow to its knee from the back row.
  3. Well gee, that makes bombs even more worthless. How about a rule change so bombs could actually be useful for higher level players; maybe throwing a bomb at an enemy will target it and deal 5 damage, with 3 damage to every other enemy?
  4. Does throwing a bomb at an enemy count as "targeting" it?
  5. Yeah, think I'm gonna sit the rest of this one out. Xander retires to a safe corner of the Orchard, observing the deranged cats from a distance.
  6. Xander joins Docken in attacking Cheshire Cat B from the back row.
  7. Xander aims an attack at the last remaining Bugbear Archer from the back row.
  8. Xander repeats his action.
  9. Xander moves on to Bugbear Archer A, attacking from the back row.
  10. Xander readies an attack from the back row on Bugbear Archer B.
  11. Xander does nothing from the back row.
  12. Xander attacks Unicorn A from the back row.
  13. Completely forgot about favoring Beasts instead of Aquatic that last round because of Docken's strange instructions. Any way you can be a nice QM and retroactively apply the extra damage to the Unicorn, CMP? Xander unleashes yet another attack from the back row on Unicorn B.
  14. Xander attacks Unicorn B if no one has rolled Stampede, otherwise he attacks Unicorn A if it's Stunned, and if someone has rolled Stampede and Unicorn A isn't Stunned, he does nothing.
  15. I wasn't arguing for a change, just wondering why. And yeah, Hunters are good at dealing damage to a single foe, provided they don't roll damage or special damage seemingly every turn. *shakes fist angrily at CMP*
  16. Speaking of Shields...I think WBD touched on this earlier, but I've never understood why a Hunter's Shield does less damage than a critical hit. Isn't it supposed to be your most powerful roll? I get that you're favoring the type as well, but that's usually a one time thing per battle, so after the first Shield roll there really isn't a benefit to rolling it again (especially if you have a Hunter's Quiver). And switching gears, do you guys think it would be beneficial to split the Rules and Discussion thread into two separate threads? One where people could exclusively talk about the rules/clarifications and how to apply them in battle/etc., and another one (called Ongoing-Quest Discussion or something) where people could discuss the Quests that they're on. That way actual questions about the rules wouldn't get lost in quest banter, and it would be easier to find what you were looking for (especially for newer players) and allow for more streamlined discussions about possible amendments to the rules.
  17. Ok Mister Smarty Pants, how do I use OOC colored text in the mobile version? He never said within whom's reason....
  18. Xander repeats his action.
  19. Xander continues his assault on the Dryad from the back row. Sorry, long day at work and it was my mother's birthday. For some reason this site does not agree with my phone, and the mobile version doesn't allow you to use markup.
  20. Sorry about that, didn't realize you were waiting on me. I'll keep Vermin, windmills and meadows sound like good places to find vermins.
  21. This is our last easy battle, right? I don't remember there being that many Vermin type in the later battles, but I guess I'll keep it for now since CMP didn't give me a chance to favor Flying. Xander aims an attack at Aepyornis C from the back row.
  22. Xander once again repeats his attack, tacitly scolding himself for his lack of good luck.
  23. Xander repeats his action.
  24. Healed of his wounds, Xander attacks Aepyornis C from the back row.
  25. Xander uses a Grand Potion.
