  1. Hello Ribatagus! Thanks for the nice introduction, and welcome to Eurobricks! I'm sure you'll make a fine addition to the site. :-)
  2. 37, but I still live with my parents. Haha, actually, I'm still in my teens.
  3. Haha. I don't think that would go over well with my family... or neighbors. :-P It is, however, a secret goal of mine to go skinny dipping before I die.
  4. I ordered a Viking Fortress for pretty cheap! *wub* And a few other random pieces.
  5. Well that, and that 99% of the time, not matter how much you debate with someone, they aren't going to change what they believe, and neither are you. Just a note, I left out a key 'not' in my last post... :-$ it's fixed now.
  6. Haha... I personally wouldn't go naked in public unless I was getting paid a lot... I admire those who have the guts to it, and yet at the same time am a bit disgusted. :-P You guys must have gotten a nice rush of adrenaline, eh?
  7. I like that view on things. Personally, what I believe, I feel is 'right', which is the reason I believe it. Because I feel that I'm right, I tend to think that beliefs other than mine aren't right, but I'm not going to go around telling people they are wrong. And like you said, I don't 'know' that I'm right. I feel that if we had a debate forum, people could get carried away to the point they start telling people that their beliefs are wrong, which is one reason for things getting nasty.
  8. Well, you as a Christian, believe that your religion is the correct one to follow, correct? A Muslim believes that Islam is the correct religion, and so on. While you may not be trying to force your 'right' religion on others, you still think that you're right. Thus, you have a bunch of people thinking they are right.
  9. It's much better than I thought it would be, but I still don't like it that much. I have the original AT-AT, and while this is cool that it walks, I'll almost definitely pass.
  10. I'm not sure if he'll read this thread, so why don't you try sending him a private message. [Here] is a link to his profile.
  11. Ooh. Now it all makes sense, and I realize how wrong I was. :-D :-$
  12. That's strange... perhaps a post was deleted? Because it says the total amount of posts is 201 (now it'll be 202) but it also says that your post is number 202. [edit] I just realized clicking on the total post number gives you a list of everyone who posted in the said thread, and how many posts they have made in it. Sweet! Hinckley has 53 posts in this thread. X-D
  13. I haven't really talked with any other AFOLs, but if I did, I don't think I would say the acronyms at all. When reading them, I see the word, and know what it means, but I don't pronounce it in my head. When talking about Lego, I would probably say Creations, and Adult Fan of Lego. If I were going to say them, I'm pretty sure I would just say the letters, like A-F-O-L, etc.
  14. Hey Corpreal, this sounds like it could be a fun contest, however, if you want as many entries as possible, I would suggest waiting a bit. There are two or three other contests going on right now, so it'd probably be a good idea to wait until those are done at least.
  15. Okay, I will try to control myself. *sad*
  16. Yes, you should be controlling the website, because you're so humble.
  17. Who did you think I was talking about. X-D
  18. I think this sounds pretty fun. I would probably be interested in participating if you carry on with it. :-)
  19. :-( Oh well, I don't really mind seeing the therapist... he and I have gotten to know each other pretty well from all my visits. I wouldn't worry about it... As far as I'm concerned, being silly is almost always appropriate here. ;-)
  20. No! This IS SPARTA!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist. And Norrington, considering Sinner's other posts, I think it's safe to assume he's joking. ;-)
  21. I, personally, think this is a very bad idea. There is a reason that discussion about politics and religion aren't allowed on most boards. I can't really see anything good coming out of a forum dedicated to them...
  22. I believe this is a 'where do you live' thread, not 'where did your ancestors live', so I think you're okay. ;-)
  23. I suppose that's a good idea. They would still need to pay the company to make them though, wouldn't they?
  24. I don't know much about rendering, but have you tried http://www.ldraw.org/? Also, g.2 is a member here, so you could try PMing him.
