We want the amazing 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant!
Morten replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
I need the 4999 set too. I need two, one for keeping MISB with my other MISB promo set and one to build and display. I just hope the price will drop below 200 $ when people find out how many 25000 copies really are! Morten -

I just LOVE promos, and this is just so cool. I am up for buying the set if possible. Morten -
I am so happy to read all the post, about TLC being so unfair with this price thing. I called many times to LEGOdirect and they tolled me it was a PR thing, strange. Why did they not, like earlier PR things, write that it was a reduced price for a limited period? For once I thought that the price was fair compared to the US-price, but that was ofcourse not ment to be. Shame on you TLC shame on you!!! That has got to be the baddest way to treat good AFOL costomers, right? Morten

Good job KimT, it´s a really nice set. It will be interesting to see the size of DS2 UCS compared with the new Death Star playset. Keep up the great regulator job you are doing. Morten

If either of you fall over an extra 7666 Hoth Rebel base, it would be super cool if you could by me one or two sets, they where never to be found in Denmark, and I would love that set. I am on the straight shooter list. Morten

I know it´s not real sets, but for fanatics like me, they are stil a must have: Morten

Here is a few more pictures of my IC3 train in different curves, and a shot at the connection of the wagons. I was not able to take pictures of the train running. Hope you like them. Have to start working on my scene with the train in. More pictures in my brickshelf folder. Morten

This is great. I was really looking forward to some pictures of this set. As we all know, sets could look bether and they could look worse, I think the hole idea with a Death Star play set is just perfect. Love all the minifigs. A few negative comments: The black death star trooper helmet sucks, and the Tie-advance is a little strange, the cockpit is only 4 studs wide, so will it hold Darth Vader? Now theres is only to cross our fingers and hope for a mirracle that LEGO ShopAtHome makes a mistake like they did with the price of the Green Grocer i Australia, and put a wrong price on it! It is a lot of money! Will get it anyway. Morten

They look really cool, just remember don´t spend all your money on one theme!!! Morten

Thanks for all the nice comments, I am glad you like the train. My plan is to do a 96x96 MOC / scene with the train in it. I will take more pictures ASAP and post them, maybe tomorrow, if I can find the time. Morten

I can see in an early post that TT is in Billund really early, so that makes us 4, so if you could ship a coupon that way we could all 4 get the 20 % discount? I think a letter from Germany should have no problem reaching Denmark before we leave thursday? Morten Looking forawr to seeing those Santa Fee wagons
-
Christian KimT, you and I will be in Billund around 13.00 thursday, and Holodocs plane will land 17.55, so i will buy my tickets so I can be in the park the hole day, I don´t know about you? So if you would like the discount you have to get Holodoc so ship you one of the coupons by mail, or cross your fingers that we can upgrade the day-ticket from thursday to season-ticket when Holodoc arrives. Morten
-
Sounds good with the discount coupons, when do you arrive in Billund Holodoc? Morten

I thought you just posted that we had to bring that set, not that we had to reply that we would bring it. We allways follow your orders when it comes to event stuff, offcourse i am bringing the set. Does it have to be that exact set or just one of them? Morten

Great idea Unfortuanatly I just spend a lot of building time making this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=319082 and finally cleaning the apartment for LEGO, I think I will pass on this one. Looking forward to seeing your creations. Morten

This is the first time i have done a Train MOC. I have build a danish train called IC3 (short for intercity train with 3 wagons). It has a "cockpit" in both ends, and lights in both end (yellow in front red at the rear). I used a lot of time putting the light in the rear wagon. Using only 1 motorunit, I had to pull a wire through the 3 wagons in the bottom. The train only has 4 "buggies" to the 3 wagons, so there is no magnets, the hole train is in one "piece". http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=319082 Hope you like it. Morten
