Pilili Cuicui

Hello! This is huge change.... I feel a lillte sad because "euro-bricks" is like a huge reference in the Lego community. For the "european thing" Lego are from Denmark, europe, I never took the name as "forum for european only", but most as a reference to origin of Lego ... so, right now, I feel like a big actual and historical part of the Afol web community is just disappearing ... But, hey, I understand everything need changes sometimes, I love the USA, and the Canada, I've got great friends there, but, if it was so important to have a new name I would have prefer a more International one. You wanted change european because you thought americans feel excluded .... with ameribriks, me, as a european, I right now, I just feel excluded too .... Well I will wait and see, but please I am not american but don't change this website with every stereotype of this country like : "megabluck you", "yeah", "gun", "american flag", "hamburgers", I think this is a great country that deserves much better ... I don't want to hurt anyone...this is just my opinion... I will wait and see ... ++ Pilili Cuicui .

Hey! There is this one: http://www.freelug.org/ I am a member of this lug, and it is cool. We are are about 200 members from all over France (I am in Lille) but a few members (including the president) live in Paris. We talk by a mailing list (no forum), and Freelug organises some exihibitions, members meet there, or at restaurants or at home. Thanks to the events it organises Freelug has access to the lugbulk. There is no monthly or weekly meetings, this is more random. What you call a lug in the USA, is in France necessarily under the status "association 1901". This might explain why you had difficulty to find one, because the french lugs don't call themselves "lugs" but "association". :-) I am new in this association (Lug ;-) ) but if you want to join us I am sure you will be welcome :-) I can forward your mail to the president for you if you want!
