Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Dr.Cogg replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
I think he is talking about a Nocturnus Index, which would be nice for each Guild, something like this: Section 1. Inhabitants (Members of the Guild) Section 2. Land marks and Cities Section 3. Bestiary (all creatures of that Guild) Section 4. History P.S. When I wrote He, Blufiji, I meant you, but my post went to the first post on the next page. -
I'm thinking Samurai X Cave Chaos will be a Toys"R"us exclusive, because if it were a D2C wouldn't we have seen it at the Toy fair and usually only Toy"R"us gets the $100 and up exclusives. As far as the Airjitzu Battle Grounds go, I don't think TLG will put those Airjitzu spinners in a set, because I don't think they sold very well, I could be wrong though and if they are added then the build will be like a $40 build. P.S.We do know that General Cryptor, Pythor and Kozu will be in one of these two sets.

Maybe the set comes with a Devil Minifigure

I wonder if Samurai X Cave is a toysrus exclusive like the City of Stix, also I hope the Airjitzu battle grounds match the temple and come with Sensei Yang.

This is how I imaged Nocturnus before we had a map -
Creating something out of Clays Rumble Blade ?
Dr.Cogg replied to woff's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It is actually Ulandus Armor from the Kaliphilin Civil War, I wanted his "armor" to be over the top, because Ulandus, is supposed to a "God" or god like, not sure. -
I just noticed Sensei Yang has a dragon symbol in the lantern on his back

Great start for your first mech, the only thing I would work on is the legs, maybe add some joints to the feet, also parts like this are your friends when adding detail to mechs, because you can add plates, vents and other detail to the limbs and the chest.

The Drow do form Alliances, but in general they try to conquer everything, which is why there such an interesting group, also Angeli is the Drow Queen still alive or is there a new ruler ? -
I'm more interested in the villains and all the different varieties there are in Knighton, also I'm a little bummed that the only way to get Burnzie, is buying Axel's tower, which is only an okay set.
-
The Black Knights legs are probably this piece
-
I not sure myself, but if TLG makes them here are the new molds I see: #1 Apple tree guys head with shoulder pads #2 Mush Lords Sword and head piece #3 Vine ladies hat #4 Tree Troll big fig #5 Black Knight's helmet and armor #6 Shark Mermaids hair #7 Fish man above Jestro helmet ( I think he might be build like Axel) That's about 10 molds.
-
I don't think the Book of Monsters creates the monsters, I think what happend is Merlok went around Knighton and captured the monsters in the Book, kind of like the Ghost Busters vault.
-
Here's the sea guy unmasked and other monsters
-
I still think a Minis Tirith would have sold well as a D2C set ( base on how well the Orthanc seems to have done), and to justify new molds, throw them in Dimensions.
-
The 2 plant girls use ghost legs as vines and the black knight has the octopus lower half, I'm liking their designs, also I'm wonder if the Nexo Knights will be going underwater for one of the waves. P.S.I think this guy would just be a scurrier painted like a tree and I think this is the hair piece for grape girl

Creating something out of Clays Rumble Blade ?
Dr.Cogg replied to woff's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Here are some picture of different builds with joints, I use the little robots hand pieces attached to joint pieces and the pieces below, are on the white one and the black one. I have since improved the white one and red one -
Creating something out of Clays Rumble Blade ?
Dr.Cogg replied to woff's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would start by building the frame, build a basic frame with ball joints mostly in the legs, then once you have built the frame, start decorating it with different pieces, after that post it and we can give advice on how to improve it if you want, here's something for inspiration and here's one of my own -
I'm pretty sure the minifigures on the rotating table are the final versions, so Soto does have a wooden hand.

A video I found on youtube

First I would have to know, what you want to build, second, based on the parts, I see (if your only using the Rumble Blade), I think you could build a small mech and a barricade or a tank, or some kind of flying vehicle. -
I think TLG did have a third wave planned, but PJ messed up their plans with the Hobbit, we all remember this picture.

found this video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijfSJQuBT04 P.S.I hope Sensei Yang comes in the temple grounds set as well.

As far as Dimensions goes, it's going to depend on if Lego is still holding on to the license or not, I would still buy a Sauron and a Witch King if they produce them.
