  1. You are a master of bricks, this is just an amazing project. I love the hold very cool. It would have been nice if lego had made better looking barrel tops.
  2. interesting little craft, bears striking resemblence to the one from the imperial trading post.
  3. I'm also glad to see dutch pride, no one realizes that they once invaded england and did a good job of it too. It is such an excellent representation of it thus far, bally good show!
  4. "he who would pun would pick a poccket" I always like a good pun! coll idea very creative
  5. I intend basicaly to create a spread sheet of all of the known weaponry, along with pics, prices and discriptions, along with a hyper link to the site. I personaly like the freedom to create different weaponry, and think it enhances upon the original lego one, like everybody uses blunder busses. I also am looking into creating my own pieces, including rifles with detachable bayonettes, smaller cannon so they are to scale, diferent cannon shot for them, and carronades, and different pistols. These i want to make multi colored to represent the real thing better. However i want to see what others have done first, to weigh if it is worth it or necissary.
  6. Bravo, excellent interpetation of the painting. I have no clue as to the painting though.
  7. That is one amazing hull, i can't imagine how it was done, how long it took, or how many pieces, truly an accurate model so far. Well except of the absence of the copper flashing on the hull, but you can't get nit pickey with a model like that.
  8. I like the Eldorado fortress, where the ships are cool, i feel that i can make much better ones, and with the fortress, there is not much that i would want to change.
  9. Realisticly speaking the flags would blow with the wind, or in general twoards the front of the ship, on square riggeds ships, but on schooners, anything can happen.
  10. Interesting idea for the cannon, good color scheme, and neat idea about the anchor.
  11. quite a piece on engenuity, wonderfull work.
  12. What an excellent creation, i love the realistic rocky volcanoe, and all the other extra detail put into it. Truly an amazing piece of work
  13. can i use a non lego water such as cloth, because for my large entrie, its too large to cover with my supply of legos at least. one more quewstion, for the smaler areas, must your items be soley built on that small of a board, or can you use a lager board and take the picture so it displays the 16x16, or 8x8 without including aditional area?
  14. Hi, i'm not shure if this has been done already, if it has, will someone please tell me. I want to create a database for all of the custom, or non lego weapon manufacturers for the lego pirate thems. I've seen alot of cool pictures with them, but can't seem to find a source
  15. just to clarify on #3 it is referencing the use of cotton to portray smoke from cannons or musket fire. Thanks for the note on mast, would hate to be disqualified on a little thing, ill just use a different perspective, as not to show the mast
  16. Hello, i am to this and would like some more specifics on the contest. 1.) can I use non lego mast? I made use of dowels, cbecause i could not lay my hands on Lego ones 2.) can you usea non lego back drop such as cloth? 3.) can you use other non lego effects inyour pictures such as saran wrap water, and cotton smoke? 4.) is photo editin allowed, and computor generated images? 5.) when posting pictures do you need to have a 3rd party site to put them up on, and link them in your post? thanks! Looking forward to the contest
