  1. Man that film is hilarious, i love it, have you seen the other medival themed one too, i can't think of its name
  2. it sort of a saterical entry, i like it in its simplicty, however isin't the contest supposed to show the cruelty of pirates and such?
  3. Man you guys are fast, yes 20,000 leauges under the sea is great, i even thaught about building a lego nautilus. The patriot is also a graet film, along with the Sharpe series. And the POTC movies are cool too but maybe a bit too special effecty? A new other intersting film is John Adams, producesd by HBO 7 episodes purely period corred excellent film/ documentary.
  4. This is a very interesting piece. It depicts alot of savegry, done by the savages/islanders, and is a very busy and active scene. I think that it is almost to busy to be able to take it all in for the full affect, but thats just me. Good job though.
  5. I have a great appreaceation of the filming industry, and like to hear about other films, so what's your favorite pirate/nautical film? Here are some of mine Masters and Comanders The Horatio Hornblower series Blackbeard by hallmark The bucaneers(old old tv series) Walt dysnies return to treasure island series and of course Muppet treasure island
  6. sorry it took awhile but heres some pics of the a two pice pushmold(my slang term there) and one of my marines hats Working on a brickshelf account, more pics soon, any questions welcome ok my pics are poor, and i'm sorta new at this game, but heres a link to them i hope my hat mold and hat i also have duplicated the lego cannon and carriage, along with the muskets and swords.
  7. the rapier is awsome, and the bayonet is cool, but rather inapropriet on the blunderbuss, i think a new rifle should be in store, and a pistol too
  8. You can count me in too, but i have already posted on some peoples threads already, will these count weter for or against?
  9. I like the structure of it, and it works which is even better, i might change the sail material though, but thats just me
  10. It looks very good, maybe alter colors in some of the sand. Like the chices of minifigs.
  11. I think that you might want to consider adding another minifig, the exicutioner, for the hanging part of it. It looks excellent great detail, except for the big grey pole.
  12. Great moc, excellent detail. I also think, that it could use another minifig or something along the lines of one.
  13. I like your use of the differnt heads, it makes them, oh and the hair too. Good job!
  14. I would give my right hand to be able to build like that. It is one awsome big ship. I do have some sugestions though(yes i am a historic freak), use a smaller space between the double wheels, and mount the compass on a post in front of the wheel, put the lifeboats upsidedown, mayhap put in bow and/or stern chasers, and use carronades on the quater deck and near the boe. I love the ships bell, and what an excellent job on the rigging, could you post how you mad it ( i have a ship siting without rigging:) )?
  15. Very good moc, i like the lighthouse, good choices on the colors of the buildings, and the ship is great too.
  16. any sepeculation of the prices of these set's? I want tu buy alot of them, the new minigures add alot to the series along with the new detailing pieces
  17. Nice, its good to see things modeled after historic things. Amazing cannon, i think that they are more to scale than the lego ones
  18. that does help, thanks, this topic is sort paralled to my one on custom pieces, some pieces that are not made already, i plan on making :)
  19. I've been rather busy latly, i did think about going into custom buisness, but i'm not shure there is that great of a demand for it in us (thats where i would primarily like to sell). here is a link to the place i get my molding stuff from, http://www.alumilite.com/ ill post some of my pics a bit later hopefully by tuesday. I need to find something like verry small pipecleaners for the plumes on my marines hats, anyone got ideas?
  20. my question was on the baseplates. I meant could i make something lik on a 16x 16 baseplate, and take the pic so it only displays 8x8, would this be acceptable.
  21. Simply amazing, any word when it's comming out in america?
  22. i would even want to go so far as to skip the baseplate, because i don't have enough for my rather large scene, would this be of? Please someone answer this question.
  23. i was more of looking for all the sites/people that make lego weaponry and then i would create this database, that what i staerted this thread for, because i was not having such good luck searching the forum. So is brickarms the only maker?
  24. I'llbe glad to do it al for you i am a bit limited on time at the moment, but i'll get it allup in a bit for you. I do make my own molds out of a special silicone material, the most complex mold i have made is a three part mold. the resine is a form of epoxy, and can be died with various dies. another neat thing is you can paint the inside of the mold with arcrylic paint and when you cast the piece the paint will adhere to it and wont come off. i'll put up some links to where i get my casting stuff. Oh, the way i do it is relatively inexpensive too
  25. Hi, I make alter and duplicate lego parts or parts for them. Some of my latest projects have been swords, muskets, pistols, and a more accurate shipboard marines hat. Does anyone else doi this?
