    If the plan interrupts Hoke being active in the battle, then it's a no go. If we can go with this plan, then yes, trade: Round 26 - Lind unequips Medal of Glory Round 27 - Lind unequips Anniversary Medal on Hoke (he IS a rogue btw, should fit into this fast hands/pick pocket abilities) Round 28 - Lind equips Medal of Glory on Hoke Round 29 - Lind equips Anniversary Medal For someone who is heavy into the role playing side of this game, your aversion to this plan is a bit uncharacteristic. If not, just run the round with Lind doing nothing and Hoke reading the scroll.

    It can go either way at this point, but I would like Sandy AND Kinto to articulate exactly why it can't be done. Like I said before, it makes sense rules wise and role playing wise with Lind being a rogue. I want to say in 53 there was one sided item trading where a PC retrieved an item from another PC. That's why I had it as 4 round instead of 1 or 2 to complete the trade.

    If the plan was followed from the beginning, this would have been taken care of by the time this battle ends. Unless Fortune gets absolutely murdered by a PC this round, we will see round 4.

    I am not disagreeing with that at all, but we have had scenarios when on PC did all the trading while the other acted. I stated it would take 4 actions by Lind to do the switch since he would be doing all the work. IF the plan would have been followed from the beginning, Lind would have both medals in his possession right now, and this round he would equip the Medal of Glory on Hoke. 1 Turn - Lind unequips Medal of Glory (Hoke casts Light) 2 Turn - Lind unequips Anniversary Medal on Hoke (Hoke reads scroll) 3 Turn - Lind equips Medal of Glory on Hoke (Hoke reads scroll) 4 Turn - Lind equips Anniversary Medal

    It's from two non-KO'd PCs. There have been PCs trade items in past quests with one taking actions against an enemy while the other went and got the item from that PC.

    Wishy-Washy How exactly is it bending the rules? We have had PCs in other quest trade items mid battle in a very similar fashion and no one had a problem with it.

    I wouldn't mind making another run in the fields to go the Decamon Tool and Vet Badge, but after the Halloween quests.

    JUST this. The only reason you would NOT gain experience is if a QM decided not to grant you any from lack of participation (not lack of actions taken in a battle) in the quest.

    No matter what you do or do not do, as long as you survive the battle you will get XP.

    I NEVER agreed NOT to switch the medals. You aren't doing ANYTHING except standing there and changing the medals out WILL HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT on the battle or actions the active PCs are taking. Please change out the medals. You already agreed to it before all the fuss.

    I would make a good trade, not a horrible one. I have had this Plaything and a plan for it for 18 months. You've had the Anniversary Medal for 1 month-ish. Not true:

    I believe no. If I remember correctly, only the WP can be changed on it because it is a weapon. I believe Sandy ruled that Enchantment would not be able to be used to boost the SP. It's been done with items. Plus, in this instance, I am giving another player permission.

    Figured it would work from a role play stand point (Lind being a fast fingered Rogue) using item trading and artefact equipping rules and precedents from other quests.
