    Hoke scoffs and looks over at Guts with a chuckle.

    And Hoke is off Boom's radar. I can't remember the last interaction they had, which is sad. Guess I've been on toooo many Zepher quests!

    Hoke took in the scene as the imp paid fealty to Guffington. Hoke had only heard of the man before this, but now wondered what he might find out about him on this quest.

    Hoke pats Arthur on the back, acknowledges Guts, and nods to Purpearl. "I believe I remember you and the munchkin over there were traveling with a circus troupe?"

    Hoke looks down on the Heroicans speaking to three individuals as he flew a circuit around the manor. They touched down a few paces behind the heroes. Torc lowered her head as Hoke gracefully dismounted in one smooth motion. "Hoke Ablesword and that is Torc," the dragoon introduced himself and his dragon as he removed a glove to shake the hands of his employers. Greyed out items in Hoke's inventory are loaned out.

    Hoke bumps into Thalion on this way to look for him and accepts his items back. "Many thanks to you Thalion." Hoke continues out the door towards the Marketplace and bumps into a stout but short figure. "Sir Ablesword?" the figure asks from underneath its hood with only a smoking pipe visible. "Aye?" The figure pulls back his hood and reveals a toothy grin underneath a bulbous nose and bristly beard. "Blix! What are you doing in Eubric?" "The same as you I guess. Come to join Heroica." "Well then," exclaims the dragoon as he unslings his pack,"Here are a few items for you to borrow. Let me see your pack." The dragoon stuffs an assortment of items into the dwarf's pack. "Best of luck to you! I would stay and catch up, but I have another adventure waiting." With that Hoke made his way to the Marketplace and to find Torc. "Always was a nice fellow. Glad he turned out this way," the dwarf remarked to himself as he entered Heroica Hall for the first time. "Crimson Crown, eh? Well, anything to get a start I guess." Blix signs up for Quest #140.

    Hoke watches as the U'Kin pins the notice to the Questboard. After he leaves, Hoke checks the posting and see he has been selected. He hurries off to the Marketplace to collect his item from Thalion and perhaps make a few more purchases.

    Thanks for the quest CMP. My only complaint is the vampires: not sure what their roles were or why they should have been important. Everything else was good.

    Hoke grabs Thalion before he exits the Hall. "Do you think you could take care of this for me?" Hoke hands Thalion the Orb (Zoot's Order), a Diamond, an Amethyst, and an Opal for a Level 40 weapon with those gems imbued and 450 gold.

    Hoke and Torc land of the Eubric docks they left from with a bit more gold and loot. "I can manage from here. Go explore," Hoke tells the brown dragon. Torc once again takes off and heads to the fields and forest just outside the city. Hoke heads towards the Hall for a meal, a quick rest, and perhaps see a friend of two. He enters the Hall and drops his gear off at his favorite spot by the hearth. He sees a few quests up on the boards and signs up for them both, in case he is not selected for the first one. He also tacks up a note, looking to buy a few items: LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD GEMS: Amethyst, Diamond, Opal and perhaps a Topaz. Contact HOKE ABLESWORD He orders some food and drink from the bar and makes his way back to the big chair, sits, and closes his eyes for a bit of rest while he waits on the food. Hoke signs up for Quest #139 & #140.

    Torc rouses herself from her rest as Eubric comes into view. The adventurers divide the loot as say their farewells. "Thanks for the adventure Captain. Hope you and the Magpie fare well in your travels." With that the dragoon mounts his dragon and fly the rest of the way to Eubric. THANKS CMP!

    Hoke handles the Rapier and Main Gauche, walking through a few of the postures, stances, and maneuvers he observed the captain perform in battle. He returned them to their sheaths, confident they would be suitable weapons for another quest mate.

    Hoke and Torc fly in silence, trailing the gigantic elder red dragon. It was another job done. They land on the deck of the Magpie, and Hoke dismounts Torc who collapses on the deck out of exhaustion. Hoke feels the same way. Zoot's order reverts back to an orb, seeming satisfied with its first taste of battle, as Hoke returns it back to the pouch on his neck. "Well done everyone," he says to his quest mates and the crew of the Magpie. Hoke accepts the loot and exchanges loaned items. "This Dragoon's Helmet may come in handy. What would you like for it?" Hoke asks Thalion.

    Repeat All. Hoke clings to Torc's bridle as they whirl around the deck of the ship like an infernal hurricane. He could feel his new weapon palpitate and drink in the violence.

    Looks like Hoke will be signing up for some back-to-back CMP fun! Gotta get one of those Crimson Haze vials!
